Chapter 2 Attacked by the Dark Alpha

Isla's POV:

"Don't fuc*ing make any noise bit*h! I don't want anyone to see you with me. You cursed Bit*ch!" Maybe after twenty minutes of me lying on the ground when I thought they would let me go to my hut again, Alpha Hayder gripped my arms, making me stumble on my feet.

"I...don't ...want...Ahh!" I screamed when he punched me with his fist and I almost could see the stars in that cloud filled night.

Alpha Hayder was just wearing his pants and his scent aroused me in a most twisted way. Was I that desperate for human touch that even this monster turned me on?

He didn't let go off my hair until we reached the palace gates. As I relaxed a bit,his hands choked me from behind and he opened the dungeon door with the keys in his hands. It was so dark in there and he pushed me aggressively on the ground making my head hit against the wall.

I could feel my mouth filling up with the metallic taste of blood and my ankle hurt as if it was broken by the impact. My trembling hands wiped the blood off my nose and I cowered in the corner hiding myself with my small hands.

"You will rot here! I am going to take Amelia as my chosen mate publicy this morning and once our mating ceremony is finished, I will execute you! Fucki*g disgrace! " He locked the iron gate behind him and I heard three more sounds of the key turning in other doors too.

The faint moon light was my only source of motivation in this dreadful night. He would end my pathetic life and I wasn't complaining about it. At least I would get to meet my mother in Heaven. Maybe they would give me a better life next time. I laid down on the hard cold floor. It had started to grow darker again due to the clouds forming around the moon.

That's when I felt a stinging pain in my chest. As if I was pierced with hundreds of needles. My bones cracked and my senses were on high alert.

"What's happening with me? " I cried.

'You're shifting, idiot! ' A voice said out of nowhere. I frantically looked around me and couldn't the woman who just spoke to me.

"Who are you? " I cried in pain.

'Really? Are you that dumb? I am your wolf, Riley. 'The rain fell harder against the walls this time and before I could tell her I was so happy to get her my fingers turned into long nails and my jaw bone cracked.

I felt a sudden rush of energy coursing through my body as all my bones begun to crack and contort. My muscles bulged and my skin rippled as thick blue fur sprouted all over my body. My senses sharpened and my vision became clearer as I felt my teeth elongate into sharp fangs. I was no longer in my human form, but a powerful and fierce wolf.

"Let the wounds heal. "Riley whispered.

The self magical healing process started with a bright light entering my body and healing any physical or emotional pain. This light was coming from a higher power or the universe itself. I focused on the light and allowed it to wash over me, repairing any damage and restoring balance. The same process repeated thrice for continued healing.Then when I opened my eyes, it was all gone. The pain and the bruises from open wounds no longer hurt. Then, I was back to my human form and my gown was tattered during the transformation.

"We are so beautiful and magnificent. " I yelled with excitement.

"Yes, you truly are! You have a unique wolf, Isla. " Beta Stephen said touching his groin area and lust swam in his eyes. He stared at my breasts for longer than it could have been just out of mere curiosity. I covered myself with my bare hands but still it wasn't enough.

Beta Stephen moved the key in the lock and a wild smirk played on his lips.

"Gettt... Away from me... I am cursed... " I threatened him.

"But I want to devour every inch of your body. " He licked his lips and stepped on my hand making me immobilize at my spot.

Beta Stephen pushed me down on the cold floor and with his knee between my thighs he made me open up for himself. His dirty fingers ran along my inner thighs and he rubbed my clit. I shuddered with the contact and his eyes shone with a playful expression.

"You like it. Don't you? " He teased me.

I shook my head but he was far gone by now to notice my resistance. He encircled my entrance with his fingers and with other hand he begun to unzip his pants.

"Noo! " I shouted.

"Ssshh. I will make you feel good. " He spat on his hand and made my entrance wet enough for him to finger me.

Was it my actual fate? To be tormented by everyone until I die...

A loud crash occured upstairs and I heard hundreds of footsteps running here and there. The sounds of swords striking against each other filled the dungeon too. Beta Stephen was out of the trance of the lust which he was trapped in.

I covered myself from the pieces of my gown and struggled to get on my feet. Beta Stephen had one sword around his neck while another soldier handcuffed him.

"Who the fuck are you? " Beta Stephen roared at those men.

"The pack is won over by Dark Alpha Caden. So, better keep moving! " The soldier replied punching Beta Stephen on his jaw.

I tried to appear invisible by shrinking in the walls of the dungeon but to my bad luck, I was already seen by the bulky man who grabbed me by my hair. His hands rubbed my back and I winced when his fingers pinched my sore skin.

"Let's see what Alpha Caden wants to do with this petite young who*e." He gripped my hand and dragged me upstairs with him.

The palace stood in ruins, its once grand halls now reduced to rubble and debris. The walls were pockmarked with bullet holes and scorch marks, evidence of the fierce fighting that took place here. The grand staircase, once a symbol of opulence and power, now lied shattered and twisted. The courtyard, once filled with the sounds of laughter and music, was now silent and empty. The gardens, once meticulously tended, were now overgrown and wild. The air was thick with the smell of smoke and decay. It was a haunting reminder of the devastation of the Crescent Moon Pack.

The soldier finally let me go and I struggled to balance myself on the floor for few seconds and he made a face at my clumsy movements.

Then, it hit me. The scent of hundreds of roses but also a mix of vanilla with a pint of spice. It was everything I had never smelled before in my life. Something, forbidden but I longed for it.

"Mate." Riley said, looking at the tall mysterious man.

His demeanor changed too and he stopped torturing the Gamma while his head was still turned away from me. My heart was beating erratically against my chest as if it would explode any moment now.

I watched the dangerous man from a distance, his every move calculated and precise. His eyes darted around, scanning the area for any potential threats he had. He moved with a fluidity that spoke of years of training and experience. Every muscle in his body seemed to be coiled, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.

"We have already beheaded the fifty men who tried to go against the new law. " Someone told him.

His body language looked a bit different now and I was confused as if he even recognised me as his mate. Because my wolf was going crazy inside my head to feel his presence. The women of the pack were hysterically crying in the corner, knowing that their fates were sealed. The new Alpha would make all of us his slaves and worse I would still be executed because of my curse.

"You're a handsome man and I want to make you feel welcome here. " Amelia said with a smirk playing on her lips. But I could see the terror in her eyes too.

How could I forget about her obsession of being in the power? She was going to seduce the new Alpha too and rule over us.

"Fuck off or I will rip out your heart. "

His dark voice made me shiver and I became aware of my nakedness as my nipples erected after his response. What the hell was wrong with me?

Amelia was taken aback by his response but she didn't dare to talk against him after this. I saw her vanishing behind the crowd of other young maids who were equally terrified. The girls she never even considered as equal were now providing her the shield.

"We have lots of young girls here, Alpha. You can choose anyone. " The Gamma said trying to hold his breath.

"How about I ask my men to fuck you instead? " He roared angrily.

Everyone gasped as he smirked wildly at him. I could only see the left side of his face till now.

"What? " Gamma asked, horrified by the possibility. " How could you? "

"Exactly. How could you? " He replied. " I didn't attack this pack for all these women. I... " And he turned his head taking my breath away in that instance, " I just want to own it without any limits. Something which is mine. And no one else's. "

My breaths caught in my throat and I felt the Gamma's eyes on me as they all noticed how the crazy Alpha was eyeing me as if I was a piece of cake.
