Chapter 5 HEALING

I was awake, naked, and weak on Alpha Herrick's bed. The experience I had last night was clouding my head with utmost ecstasy. It had been a long I had intercourse, Alpha Herrick seemed to be best at screwing his mistress.

I covered my nakedness with the bedsheet around me and looked around for him. I was alone in the room. I didn't even know when he left the bed this morning. I had been carried away by his pleasure coupled with the fact that I now see him as my mate.

A knock at the door called me back to reality after distant thought. I taught of who could be knocking at the Alpha's door. I was damn sure that Alpha Herrick would never knock before entering his room. I summoned courage and asked.

" Who is at the door?"

" It's Tade"

Oh, Tade had come looking for me today. She must be a good friend but I still had to be conscious of her.

It was the Alpha's room so no one had the chance to enter the room no matter the circumstances except if the Alpha ordered. I had to wear the mini dress and aimed at her.

I opened the door and Tade came into view. She was not looking as gorgeous as yesterday but she settled for casual wear " Morning, Elena. Hope you enjoyed the night?"

" Yes, I enjoyed it, thanks"

Tade stretched forth her hand with a letter. It was a letter written by Alpha Herrick.

In anticipation of what might be ensconced in the letter, I collected the letter from her, looking straight Into her eyes. She nodded and gave me a ' go ahead' gesture.

I opened the letter which reads, * Elena, I am on my way to the foreign packs to register under them. My pack members are dying of unknown diseases, I just have to do this*

" His mom has been infected with the disease and she is at the point of dying" Tade spoke as a tinge of sadness welled up inside of her.

I grunted in pain. I knew Alpha Herrick would never register under the foreign packs if not for his mom. It seemed Alpha Herrick cherished his mom more than himself. His mom was too precious for him to lose so he had to submit all in the name of his mom. I think this is the time for me to save the world and Alpha Herrick's pack from the disease - this is the real-time to reveal my hidden identity.

" Where are Alpha Herrick's mom and the pack doctor's son?" I asked Tade and looked into her trembling innocent eyes.

" They are in the pack hospital" Tade spoke.

" Take me to them" I added quickly and led the way.

Tade took me to the pack hospital, a place where a lot of wolves were on life-supporting machines. I felt a pain inside of me and felt sympathy at the same time - more reason why I should help them.

Serah was having a conversation with Beta Alexander of the pack. They were busy with their conversation until Serah caught our gazes from a distance. She gestured at us and we moved closer to her.

" Good morning" Tade bowed and greeted Serah and Beta Alexander. I also greeted them.

" Morning, Tade. Who is she?" Beta Alexander asked.

" She is the new mistress of Alpha Herrick. She was brought here yesterday night just after you left the Alpha's mansion" Serah cut in and said.

( She is the girl that was purchased from the neighboring pack) Serah whispered to Beta Alexander's ears but I was sharp enough to eavesdrop.

" Oh, you are welcome to the Crescent moon pack. Alpha Herrick has traveled this morning " Beta Alexander said.

" That's one of the reasons why I am here" I faced Beta Alexander and said.

Serah and Beta Alexander looked so carried away by my statement or were they surprised?

" Please call him to come back to his pack and dismiss the contract with the foreign packs," I said in a real tone enough for them to know I was not kidding.

" Elena, my only son has been on the sick bed since last year he is at the point of dying and you are telling us to stop Alpha Herrick from signing the contract?" Serah spoke in her rage

" Do you know the magnitude of what you are saying, stranger? Alpha Herrick has always been malevolent anytime we tell him to register under the foreign packs. A lot of wolves had died and you are telling us to stop him? He is not even doing this for his pack but for his mom" Beta Alexander pronounce boldly before he added, "You are just a stranger here so keep your mouth shut"

" I am here to heal them" I pronounced.

Tade whispered to my ears, " Are you sure of what you are saying?"

" yes, Tade, I am sure" I responded to her.

" Hope you know you don't dare play pranks here, stranger?" Beta Alexander warned sternly.

" Let's give her a trial, Beta Alexander!" Serah suggested.

I was motioned to where Alpha Herrick's mom was laying and I healed her with my gift. I also healed Serah's only son from his illness.

Beta Alexander was in awe, surprised to see me as a healer. Serah's hand flew up to her chest as she saw her only son howling back to life. Tade was more than confused here, she froze in place and looked at me strangely as if she was just seeing me for the first time.

" Wow! Stranger, you could heal?" Beta Alexander asked surprisingly while Serah was exchanging affectionate hugs with her only son.

I went ahead and healed those who were affected by the disease too. Everyone was worshipping me like their moon goddess. They never believed a healer could be gifted to their pack.

Alpha Herrick was called and told to terminate the contract with the foreign packs now that a healer has healed his mom and the sick.
