Chapter 5 5

We just returned home to Manila, we stayed there for three days at the Ferrer family's mansion. On my third day there, nothing much happened, I spent almost half of my day in the room. The doctor who looked at me let me rest first because the ball hit me and the dizziness I feel is not going away.

I'm also back at work here at the Resto-Bar where the three of us, Jake and Lucas, work.

"How was our vacation? How good is your fiance?" Lucas asked while grinning.

"Stop... first of all, he's not my fiance and that won't happen." I answer here

"You sure about that?"

"Sure, sure... after the one month don Manuel gave me, my life with Anya is back to normal." I assured him.

I'm sure about it... nothing will change after a month.

"By the way Paul called me, he's going home before going to work." Jack

"Yown oh... I hope there will be a welcome ahaha" Lucas

"Surely there is.... you can always be the one to bring you a welcome gift when he comes home."

"You said... but did I think that in the states he will finish his studies?" i ask

Paul is also one of our friends, he is in the state right now and is on vacation. But before he left, he told us that he plans to finish his studies there. What happened and he is here again as a student?

"I don't know... we'll find out when he's here." Jake replied

It will be good when he will be here as a student again because our troupe will be complete again. I'm even more excited about the re-opening of classes... especially since I'll be able to see and be with Anya often.

"You still haven't answered my question..."Lucas .. he put his arm around me while his face was close to mine.

Using my palm, I moved his face away from mine."what question?"

"Gosh! What's so beautiful about don Manuel's grandson?" he asked again

I stopped wiping the table and held my chin under my chin as if thinking. Rei's face suddenly entered my mind.

Her cold stare, cold expression, cold voice... her beautiful hazel brown eyes---

"Hey! You're dumbfounded there"

"Huh!? Uhmm.. m-nice"

The two looked at each other... and looked back at me with a teasing smirk on their lips.

"What?"

"If it's that good.... hey" he teased while poking me in the side.

"Ahh... what the hell... stop it---" I disobeyed but the fool just laughed.

"Look at you, you're blushing ahahhaha" it teased

"No... it's just hot."

"What about Anya?"

I stopped teasing Lucas when Jake spoke.

"Anya is still my girlfriend" I answered her.

"What if you have feelings for don Manuel's grandson? You probably know what can happen when---"Jake

"That won't happen... one month is too short for me to like there... and I love Anya." I assured her.

"Hey! Stop being so serious, man. We know that Wren is loyal to Anya." Lucas put his arm around Jake.

I stretched my body from serving customers all day. There are a lot of people now because the vacation is over and it's time to start school again.

"What time is it?" Lucas asked as he lay on the table.

"It's past two in the morning" I answered here.

We closed late because it was still crowded. That's why Lucas's face looks like it's crowded due to fatigue.

"It's better to finish this quickly so we can go home and rest." I suggested.

We are now putting away and cleaning. There are only a few workers here where we work. The regulars who work here take vacation first, the others only work in the morning and the three of us, Jake and Lucas, work full time. From morning to night.

"You just close this bar.. I'll go home first." Mang Gary said when he got inside and handed me the key. He is the guard here at the restobar.

"Alright, I'll go first"

"Alright, be careful" I said

"Careful" Lucas

"Careful Gary" Jake

It left in a hurry which surprised the three of us.

"Why is Mang Gary in such a hurry?" I asked

"Maybe there's a date" answered Lucas who was already sitting on the table

"Crazy... who would go on a date at a time like this?" Jake replied laughingly, throwing the small towel he was holding.

The three of us just had fun until we heard a rustling sound. Lucas ran beside me and hid behind me.

Until the rustling got louder and louder accompanied by moaning.. it was coming from the kitchen. The three of us looked at each other...

"Look..." said Lucas who was still hiding behind me.

I took the tray that was on the table, while Jake was holding a map. Lucas covered his face with the towel that Jake threw at him earlier.

The rustling got louder and louder. We slowly walked towards it.

"Ahhhhh..."

The three of us looked at each other because of the woman's moaning we heard from inside.

When we got close to the door we peered inside through the small mirror.

"F*ckkk-----" we immediately covered Lucas's mouth... we sat on the floor outside the kitchen door while listening to Mang Gary and the woman with him inside.

"Ahhh--- go on paaaa... e diinnn mo paaa aahhhh!"

"That's why you're in a hurry because there's a woman coming" said Lucas, waking up

"Ahhhhhh... aaahhhh..."

"You're still delicious, Marites, even though you have eight children--- ahhh"

We pulled Lucas to sit down again as he peeked inside again.

"Tol, Aling Marites... the one who walks like a duck selling bananacue." Lucas said in disbelief.

"That's why Mang Gary looks at us differently when we buy." Jake

"Mang Gary is still good"

"Aaaahhhhhhhhhh"

"I WISH ALL of us would be fathers!"
