Chapter 8 EIGHT

"Take this and get out of this house!" The sixty-five-year-old woman said, throwing the test result paper at Farah's face.

"I'm sorry mom, I'm sorry," Farah approached Sinta. But Sinta quickly moved away.

Kairo, who saw his mother's actions, immediately approached Farah.

"Already Farah, already. I'll take you home," Cairo said, holding Farah's arm.

"Cairo! Let Farah go home by herself!" Sinta said firmly.

Now Farah, the hooded girl, left the house quickly. She didn't want to make a scene in the big house.

Meanwhile, Sinta was very angry with her daughter-in-law. Salsa kept getting blamed for this wedding.

"You Sinta. You're really incompetent to find a wife for Kairo. You don't need to look for a wife for Cairo anymore. Let my mom find a new wife for Cairo. Because you can't get pregnant! I'm sorry my son married you!" Sinta said, folding her arms across her chest.

Salsa could only run to her room crying. She had heard too much from her mother-in-law about her not being able to have children.

"How could you talk to me like that," Salsa could only cry on her bed. After closing her room tightly.

"Mamah shouldn't talk to salsa like that!" Kairo said firmly.

"Just defend your wife who can't have children." Sinta now left quickly from her son Kairo's sight.

"Salsa open the door baby," Cairo said softly as he knocked on her bedroom door.

There was no answer at all.

"I'd better go to Farah's house. She must be very upset. I have to explain everything properly," said Cairo quickly going out of his big house. His hand opened the fence with one push of a button. The fence was wide open. He got into his luxury car and drove as fast as he could.

He arrived at Farah's house. She immediately entered Farah's room. She found Farah crying her eyes out.

"Am I really barren? Ya Allah, does it really hurt my heart to accept this fact?" said Farah in the room. She cried, lamenting the harsh reality.

"Does that mean I can't have children for the rest of my life?" Farah cried in the room with great sadness.

Kairo immediately approached Farah and hugged her from behind.

"Farah, don't cry anymore," Cairo said gently.

Farah immediately let go of the hug and looked quickly at Cairo's face.

"Astaghfirullah hal adzim mas. Don't touch me mas. Soon we will be divorced. That's what mamah Sinta wants, isn't it," Farah said, now wiping the tears from her cheeks.

"Farah calm down, this is all because I want to take care of you," Cairo said firmly.

"What do you mean mas?" The cute-faced girl's brow furrowed.

"I mean that . . ." Cairo looked confused to explain.

"What mas? Tell me everything mas!" Farah exclaimed in a high tone.

"I was acting with doctor Fandi. The test result was fake. That means you can get pregnant," Cairo said confidently.

Farah's small eyes blinked.

"What, you're not lying, are you mas?" asked Farah firmly.

"Of course I'm not lying. I did that because I didn't want you to be treated like that by my wife and mother. You are a woman who should not be treated like that. How could I let you sit on the floor while my mother sat on the sofa? That's inhumane. Auntie at home was never treated like that either. How could I keep quiet. When you were treated badly by my mother and my own wife," Cairo said confidently.

Farah, who heard this, could only squeeze her head hard.

"Geez mas, what about my mother mas, what about the cost of my mother's treatment. I want my mother to get well and be healthy. I married you because I wanted to earn a lot of money for my mother. I want to see my mother healthy like she used to be," Farah's eyes glazed over. She was very sad about it all.

Kairo could only remain silent. He regretted what he had done.

"After all, what is a marriage without love? You should be ashamed of yourself Farah," said Cairo and then left Farah's house.

Her heart and mind were completely tangled. When everything was over. But there was a regret in it. She also didn't know how to act anymore. She didn't know what she should do. What was good to do at this time. Kairo was really frustrated.

"Where else should I find a wife for you mas?" asked Salsa in confusion. Her face was very wrinkled. Especially her mind.

"Stop talking about it salsa," Cairo said firmly. He left the room and sat in his garden.

"Shit! The money I spent to pay Farah is now wasted! I need to call Dinda right now!" Salsa said with a cynical face.

"Hello Dinda? Give me back the money I gave you! Your friend Farah can't get pregnant! So give me back the money I gave you!" Salsa said firmly.

"What, that's not the deal salsa! You can't just take the money you gave me! Besides, it's not like you did a farah test back then. Everything was normal right? Why did you suddenly say that Farah couldn't get pregnant?" Asked Dinda in an annoyed tone

"Yes, that's the reality. The second test that Farah did resulted in the conclusion that Farah couldn't get pregnant, aka barren like me!" said salsa confidently.

"No way salsa, this is all impossible. Farah can definitely get pregnant. I know very well that Farah's family is fast in getting pregnant. All of Farah's siblings have many children. Farah's mother's sister is also quick to have children. So there's no way that Farah is barren. The test must be wrong!" Dinda said firmly.

"Wrong how do you mean? It was the doctor who examined Farah. The letter is original from the doctor. So it can't be wrong. Farah is indeed infertile Din," said salsa firmly.

"There's no way Farah is barren. I'm going to your house right now. I'll take care of everything! I'm sure Farah's not barren!" Dinda said firmly and then immediately hung up the call.
