Chapter 2 Feelings and affections

"The next few days were a blur. I couldn't stop thinking about Michael and our date. I wondered what we would do and what we would talk about. I had butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it. Finally, the weekend arrived, and I couldn't wait to see him. I spent hours getting ready, trying to look my best. When I finally got to the restaurant, my heart was pounding. Then, I saw him and all my worries melted away...

"As Michael walked up to me, I could feel myself blushing. He gave me a big hug and a smile that made my heart skip a beat. We sat down at the table and started chatting. The conversation flowed easily, and I felt like we could talk for hours. Before I knew it, our food arrived. We ate, laughed, and talked late into the night. When it was time to say goodbye, I felt like I didn't want the night to end. But as we parted ways, I knew that this was just the beginning of something special."
