Chapter 4 The curse as been lifted

KING SCOTT POV

We went into her spell room. This wasn't my first time of coming here but it's still as beautiful as ever, seeing the beautiful flowers I smile as I recall my mate beautiful face I couldn't help but smile again I can't wait to meet her again.

"Sit here." She gestured for me to sit down on a chair close to her, I sat down waiting for my next quest, and hoping and praying that the curse was lifted, that I wasn't dreaming , for the first time in my life I was praying, like actually praying.

I was excited and sacred at the same time , all I wanted was to have a mate who will love me, care for me, I know I was a demon but don't I deserve love, is it wrong to have someone that love and cherish you.

Sarah gave me a bowl and a knife and I knew already what to do next, I cut my hand and pour some of my blood inside the bowl and gave the bowl back to her.

I sat down on the floor close to the bowl and she sat down and started her incarnation, I really don't know what she was saying but I knew she was performing a spell.

After few minutes of me waiting eagerly for her to be done. She looked at me and smiled at me to gesture that she was done and I was waiting eagerly for her reply.

"The curse has been lifted, she is your mate." She said smiling.

I jumped up and hug her, I was so excited that I couldn't even contain the happiness inside me, I felt like I was flying.

It was really a nice feeling. But how was the curse lifted, I thought the curse can't be lifted, I thought it was permanent, what is really going on?

"But how was the curse lift, isn't it supposed to be permanent?" I asked Sarah, because I just can't think for any reason the curse was lifted, and by the look on Sarah face she also didn't know the reason, but right now, I didn't care much about the reason all I want to do right now was to kiss and hug my mate.

"I don't really know, how the curse got lifted but give me some days I will try to find out." She replied.

I smiled, kiss her in her cheek again and I then left her room, and headed to my room smiling I couldn't contain the happiness I was feeling inside me, I was so excited.

I walked inside my room only to see a familiar face, John. What was he doing here, hope he didn't come here to nag at me again, I'm so happy today I don't need any stress at all, I thought to my self walking towards him.

"Why did you come back from the alpha coronation, so quick, he called he was asking why you didn't attend his coronation." John said crossing his hands on his chest.

I just looked at him, I couldn't help but laugh, he looks childish, and to think he his trying so hard to look scary, but I can see an hint of fear in him eyes, he knew I could kill him with just a snap of my finger, but he was my best friend so I gave him, the privilege to nag at me anytime, but right now is not the time.

"Well, I met my mate." I said to him, I couldn't help but laugh on how he widened his eyes, and open is mouth without closing it, that was the perfect sign that he was surprised and shocked, who wouldn't be?

"Wait! Are you joking? But how? Where is she? Is she beautiful? When can I meet her?" He bombarded me with a lot of questions that I didn't even know the one to answer first, I looked at his face he was waiting for my answer eagerly.

"Chill buddy isn't this question too much for me to answer." I asked him.

"But well, if you must know, I met her at the coronation, we felt the mate bond, we even said mate together, but I left immediately without saying a word to her, i needed to confirm from Sarah." I told him the complete story.

"Okay from the look of things and the look of excitement in your face, I believe she is your mate, so when are you going to bring her home, remember the palace needs a queen." John said

"Well, tomorrow, now leave my room I need to rest." I said and he stood up immediately with a sigh and left.

I lay on my bed and smiled.

"I told you there was no mistake, I told you she is our mate, and besides what are we still doing here, let's go and bring her home right now." Seth said feeling impatient and making me smile.

"Don't worry we will go tomorrow, let's give her a little space, we will go and bring her home tomorrow morning." I said smiling and imagining how it will feel like holding and kissing her.

"Why do we have to wait for tomorrow, we should go now, remember you left without saying anything to her, and you know she will be confused and hurt, let's go now and explain everything to her." Seth kept insisting we go to how mate but I bluntly refused it was good to give her space, with her outfit yesterday, I knew she worked in the pack house so it won't be difficult to see her tomorrow.

"Seth tomorrow please." I pleaded with him because I don't have the strength to argue with him.

"Okay if you say so, but I still insist we go now." Seth said, he was still not okay with my idea

"No, we can't go now, I don't even know what to say if I meet her." I said.

"Okay fine " Seth finally gave up.

I fell asleep trying to think of what I would say to her.

"Wait for me little mate, I'm coming to get you." I said before falling asleep.
