Chapter 5 Grandpa

" You have a bright future ahead of you Bella and I want to be one of the driving range that will push you to your full potential. Let me help you and your brother to have the life that you deserve but have been deprived of" The old man said and waited for her response.

Bella was overwhelmed with emotions, how could she thank him enough?. A helper after so long.

" how can I thank you sir? I will be so grateful sir, thank you" Bella was moved to tears as she knelt down and thanked him.

" Don't kneel down dear, you have a pure heart and I'm doing this just to support you out of pure sincerity" The old man helped her up and sat her down.

She was a very nice girl and was going to make a perfect wife for his grandson Jake.

He was doing this to help her because she was indeed a girl of good values and character and needed the support she could get for her star to shine.

And also she is a good candidate of a good wife for his grandson Jake, which means if things come to work out well , then the both of them would make good life partners. She was going to be his granddaughter-in-law very soon.

The search for his chronic grandson has finally come to an end .

" I will send my subordinates to make sure that your brother's college expenses and yours will be paid as soon as possible for the remaining time you both will be spending at the University". The old man informed her .

" Thank you so very much Sir, you are indeed sent from God. Thank you sir"

" It's nothing to thank me over and over again for but you will have to start living here with me . As you can see I live here all alone aside from the workers and securities here. My grandchildren sometimes come visit me but I live in this place as a lonely man" The old man was obviously trying to convince her.

She was a nice girl and he wasn't going to let her down.

"anything to repay your kindness sir" Bella was happy to have finally met someone who was willing to help her and her brother .

Since their parents passed away , they were both alone in this cruel world and had nobody to turn to .

She didn't know what made her trust the old man despite only knowing him yesterday. Maybe she she saw him as a father figure that was missing in her life for a long time now.

" I will send my people to your place to help you pack your things I. the house and bring it here immediately, I assume you will be needing it as soon as possible. "

"And also, you don't have to worry about anything because they will handle everything well and all necessary documents will be processed and handed over to your landlord over your moving out of the house without notice." The old man added and smiled warmly at her.

Bella wondered why it was so easy for him to handle the situation in a blink of an eye. All he needed was say the word and it was done without delay.

" ok sir, Thank you once again. I was thinking of how to handle it" Bella said.

" Why don't you just call me grandpa instead of the Sir that you are used to referring me as?" The old man asked . He really wanted her to call him grandpa after all, she was joining his family.

Though she was joining his family indirectly now but very soon she would be joining the family directly when she married into the family and become his granddaughter-in-law.

" ok sir..No.. I mean Grandpa"

The old man laughed out loud at how funny she was.

She was the perfect candidate for his grandson Jake.

Finally, the search for a wife for his chronic single grandson was over.

🧭 THREE YEARS LATER 🧭

" Grandpa"

A beautiful lady called a man sitting comfortably on the chair of the living room out.

" ohh... my dear Bella.. my child is back, finally" The old man said sweetly and smiled at her.

Bella immediately hugged the old man while he was still sitting down on the chair.

She was elated to meet him after six months. Two years ago, she graduated from the University and was later employed as a worker under The Perry group of Industries in New York City.

There she was able to see Peter as well as work for a couple of months there.

She was very happy to be back home to the old man even if she felt sometimes sad that Peter was still in New York City.

Well, he had just one more year before he graduates.

It was over three years that the old man entered her life and he had completely changed her life and made her who is she today.

Bella was able to meet some members of the Old man's family.

She was able to meet Esther, the funny and cute granddaughter of the old man. Esther was almost the same age with her.

She also met Mr Fred and Mrs Amelia, the son of the old man and his wife .

Madam Amelia is a very nice woman and accommodated her well. She learnt about the different branch that the Perry group of Industries had all over the world which shocked her with the number she heard.

Madam Amelia was a mother figure and both of them moved along well.

Mr Fred, the old man's son is also a good man and they all accepted her .

Well all except the grumpy and arrogant billionaire, Jack was as cold as he was rich. They had both only met twice and he never for once answered her greetings but she got used to his pompous attitude and didn't complain.

Who complained when everyone knew the arrogant billionaire to always be cold and who didn't like coming to Glamorous Estate except on very important occasions.

She didn't care who he was as long as he doesn't go around causing any trouble for her.

Who concerns oneself with a cold statue?
