Chapter 7 A Hashira in Action [Part]

Shimodo Rou sighed while holding a cup of coffee in his right hand and a paper in his left hand. He is sitting on a chair leaning his back comfortably. He's in the head's office room joined in with the other two heads also reading paper but signing them.

"Any reports, news from them?" Shimodo Rou asked as he took a sip of his coffee and put it down gently on top of the round table. He cleared his throat while waiting for an answer.

"Nope, none. The last report was a few weeks ago," replied one of the heads. They immediately go back to work and all of a sudden, they start hearing footsteps nearing their door in a hurry.

Suddenly, a soldier busted open the door and made the three heads stand. The soldier immediately closed the door and walked towards them.

"Message from the near nation wondering Hashiras. The West has been attacked! Their giant gate was destroyed and the capital building was annihilated!" Exclaimed the soldier making their eyes widen.

"What?!" Exclaimed of the heads of the east as Shimodo Rou stood there hopeless, shocked couldn't move an inch of his body. He suddenly sat down on the ground shaking his head left and right like his world was about to be done for.

"What's their status?" Shimodo Rou asked staring at the soldier who was sweating. He wiped his sweat with his hands, stood straight, and spoke.

"It's currently unknown, Sir! Yet, the fifth general of the army of our nation already taken some serious actions, he deployed the Sergeant and half of his army with him to assist them. He said it's urgent and that's a big problem," the soldier replied. Shimodo Rou punched the round table and sighed. He stood and turned around, he glanced out the window as he shook his head once again left and right.

"We'll need to secure the nation's safety, I'll have to call every Shira!" He said as all of a sudden, two shadow guard swordsmen appeared in thin air on his side making him immediately turn around.

"What's the matter?" He asked his two shadow guards and didn't get a single answer, he looked in the distance where the two swordsmen were staring and saw the soldier had changed figures.

He all of a sudden had bright red eyes and he was smiling like a demon. His appearance became very dark and he started giggling. He laughed all of a sudden as the two shadow guard swordsmen took a step forward and immediately stopped to take another.

"Oh, is that a threat?! You both didn't even know the difference between a human and God's presence," said the soldier menacingly glaring at the two swordsmen on Rou's side.

"Red eyes? Who are you?" Rou asked. He closed both of his fists and stood. He glared at the soldier as he cleared his throat. He was feeling that something bad might happen.

"Before I came here running, you're already asking questions, Shimodo Rou, the main head of the east. And I don't think answering them would do you any good," the soldier said menacingly as all of a sudden, his appearance started to change.

His uniform got torn apart when he turned into a monster with a horn. His sword emerges on his left waist and all of their eyes widen. The monster's horns hit the ceiling, seeing that he is almost twice taller than them and big.

"You dare threaten us? Who do you think you are?" Shimodo Rou asked menacingly. All of a sudden, two unknown swordsmen appeared in thin air on the side of the monster. That made the monster jump backwards reaching the door and seeing the additional two unknown swordsmen.

"Ha. Ha. Shira swordsmans, then they must've felt my presence already. I wonder if you all could survive this blast," the monster remarked, he crossed both of his arms, and all of a sudden his chest began to glow bright red.

Light began to flash everywhere. It was like it was consuming them and the light began to get hotter and hotter. Suddenly, the three heads were grabbed and vanished leaving the four swordsmen in the room.

A giant barrier appeared covering the whole capital building. The barrier has four corners and its height exceeds the giant walls of the nation. A giant explosion occurred inside the barrier and it made the ground grumble.

The four unknowns who made the barrier grunt in pain, they're barely holding the giant explosion in. It continues to explode and inside, it makes a giant mushroom cloud that immediately disintegrates and the smoke rises to the clouds.

"Shimodo Rou, are you okay?" Asked one of the heads to him. The three of them stood right outside the barrier looking up at the giant black smoke while joined in with three unknown Shira swordsmen.

"I'm fine, yet I'm not fine with the Capital building getting exploded. Ah, this is ridiculous," Shimodo Rou replied face palming. He turned around and began walking away from the white barrier while feeling the earthquake.

After a couple of minutes. Their surroundings went silent. The black smoke remained on the capital building inside the barrier. As it slowly goes up clearing the black smoke in the ground itself, the unknown monster slowly emerges in the distance glowing bright red.

"You cheaters! You're all should've been dead, damnit!" Screamed the monster furiously, he was smoking. They couldn't hear what he said but they could clearly see that he was angry.

"Shimodo Rou, the fourth general, and his army are at the front gate. The third general on the other hand was on the far back gate along with Fudo Toka. The five greats on the other hand were said to be returning. The Shira's are scattered in the perimeters of our walls. That should make you at ease," the unknown swordsman stated. He was kneeling in front of Shimodo Rou as he gave more Intel. Shimodo sighed in relief as soon as he heard the good news from the swordsman.

The swordsman then stood tall in front of him and bowed. He vanished in thin air after Shimodo Rou nodded at him. The other two heads were nowhere to be found at the scene, only the sergeant of the fifth army and a few Shira swordsmen around scouting the area. His two shadow guard swordsmen were on his side staring at the enemy inside the barrier menacingly.

Suddenly, the unknown began advancing forward toward Shimodo Rou making the two shadow guard swordsmen that were guarding Rou take a step forward and stand in front of him.

The monster raised his right arm and punched the white barrier shaking the entire ground all of a sudden. Suddenly, the barrier started having massive cracks that began to break pieces by pieces like glass.

Shimodo Rou sighed taking steps backwards till he hit a wall. The barrier vanished and the monster color in front of them turned back to normal. He draws his sword menacingly and all of a sudden it glows brightly colored red and slowly it turns into a flaming red sword.

"You damn cheaters!" Exclaimed the monster furiously as all of a sudden, he swung his sword towards them creating a giant flaming red slashed into the air towards them. It traveled in the air towards them. The two shadow guard swordsmen in front of him began to draw their swords when all of a sudden, a bright white barrier blocked the slash and shook the air around them same as the ground their standing on.

"We're done giving you a chance," the two shadow guard swordsmen said in unison. They suddenly flew in their side of the barriers and charged towards the monster while resheathing their swords.

They reached the monster within seconds and swung their swords toward him. The monster raised his sword and blocked the other swordsman on his left with his blade but the ground his standing on began having cracks after receiving the force from his blade.

He then swung his left hand towards his right catching the blade of the other shadow swordsmen. That shocked the swordsman making him kick him in the face and grunt. That made him immediately take a step backward and swung his blade down with great strength that overwhelmed the swordsman.

He didn't let go of holding the blade of the other swordsman on his right making his left hand palm bleeding dark blood. Suddenly, both of his hands were cut, dropping his sword into the ground.

That shocked him as he looked to the left seeing a swordsman flying by them. He also received a shallow cut on the neck that immediately healed same as his hands. His hands were cut and slowly fell to the ground disintegrated into ashes. He grabbed his sword before the two shadow guard swordsmen could react.

As soon as he grabbed his sword with his right hand, his left hand began to light up and an energy red ball appeared on top of his palm. Light flashed everywhere as he smiled and began giggling. Suddenly, the energy red ball exploded and made a giant cloud of black smoke. The two shadow guard swordsmen were forced to fly back towards Shimodo, wounded.

"Uh! Boys! You can do it!" Shimodo exclaimed as he glanced in the distance seeing the black smoke gone all of a sudden. The monster that was supposed to be in the black smoke was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, Shimodo Rou felt heat behind him that immediately prompted him to turn around.

As soon as he turned around, he saw a red light in front of his face. The two shadow guard swordsmen immediately turned around with their eyes widened in terror. They stepped on their left foot and reached their hand towards Shimodo. They were about to grab him when all of a sudden, the monster in front of Shimodo smiled brightly like a demon.

A small red energy ball appeared in the tip of his index finger about to annihilate Shimodo when all of a sudden, a barrier appeared in front of him and the small red energy ball exploded and broke the barrier into tiny pieces.

That gave the two shadow guard swordsmen to grab him and save him from trouble. Then one of the shadow guard swordsmen vanished along with him leaving only one shadow guard swordsman in the scene to join in with Shira's swordsmen and unknown people in the distance that can create barriers.

"Ah, oh, I've gone a little soft, and gone too relax. I failed to kill him, you teleported him out of here in an instant. That is a troublesome technique. And before I get here, it's already silent. There are only the heads of the east at present at the capital, then they must've seen this attack coming," the monster stated menacingly as he turned around and punched the wall behind him annihilating it and turning it into pieces.

His force coming from his right hand punch, destroyed the house that was behind the wall that he destroyed. After that, two more unknown Shira landed on the ground where he destroyed the house.

"This seems like planned all planned but it's more like an unexpected encounter, am I right? It's nearly dawn," an unknown swordsman spoke while approaching him on his right. The swordsman was staring at the sky while walking past a swordsman.

The monster couldn't feel his presence and he could feel his strength by just sensing the air around him that they were avoiding him. That made him take a step back and ready himself for what was about to happen.

"Ugh, why can't you all just knock and not destroy stuff? I'm tired of things being destroyed," he yawned and sighed as he came to a halt and drew his sword. The unknown swordsman appeared to be wearing a farmer's hat and his sword on his left waist had weird stripes on its sheath.

"Well, I'll handle you for now, let's get this over with. And I suggest you start to bother figuring out how to escape from us. Since you won't find him," the swordsman's attitude and presence change all of a sudden. He drew his sword gently with his right hand and the monster began trembling and smiling once again.

"You're a damn Hashira!" Exclaimed of the monster. Suddenly, the unknown shadow guard swordsmen of the heads started to jump backward and distance themselves from them. He slowly resheathed his sword and stood tall and watched.

"You guessed it right. I'm a Hashira, Frostwyn of the Arctic Cold of the East, I am not pleased to meet you," he remarked menacingly as he raised his sword and stroked his blade menacingly with his right.

"I'm RedBringer, the Shira killer!" Exclaimed of the monster who is RedBringer. Suddenly, he stepped on his left foot and his foot began to burst into flames like his red sword.

"Since when you're a Shira Killer?"

"Since now! Argh!"

RedBringer flew towards him with a red flaming trail. Frostwyn on the other hand, flew with an ice trail behind his back. They both swung down their swords with great force as soon as they reached each other.

Their swords collided as Frostwyn's sword turned into ice colder than absolute zero. His hand started to lose color as RedBringer's hands started to turn red and his sword blade started to burst into red flames.

Their blades collided with great force creating a giant white smoke everywhere and almost destroying the ground their standing on. They both grunt as the ground they are standing on has massive cracks.

They clash inside the white smoke exchanging collision with their blades every second till the giant white smoke dissipates in the air. Suddenly, they emerge in the ground moving faster in the blink of an eye. They could only see their trails with their naked eyes, it was like ice fighting flames.

Suddenly, a pillar of flames was created in the distance and was immediately extinguished by a sudden burst of cold wind. The Shira swordsmen around felt the heat and coldness around the area their fighting.

Suddenly, a giant sword made out of flames emerges from the sky and flies down to the ground toward Frostwyn. He kicked RedBringer and looked up seeing the sword made out of flames about to hit him.

Suddenly, he clutched his frozen sword with both of his hands swung it upward with great force, and extinguished the flames. Suddenly, RedBringer appeared in front of him about to stab him in the chest.

He was about to get stabbed by his flaming red sword when all of a sudden, his chest started to vibrate and glow brightly. Light once again flashed everywhere as Frostwyn realized that the energy his gathering inside his chest was much greater this time.

Frostwyn immediately looked around to see if there was anyone he could ask for help but there was no one around near them. He sighed in the last second as he swung his sword down and deflected RedBringer's blade and proceeded to stab his sword into the ground and clutched it tightly with both of his hands.

"This is a special sword, now I will release my technique," Frostwyn said menacingly as his presence changed and a bright Arctic fox mask appeared on his face and the ground where his sword's blade was stabbed started to turn into ice. "Secret move: Absolute Zero, Freezing Crawling Breeze,"

He released a frozen technique that the ice where he stabbed his sword started crawling toward RedBringer. The ice caught his feet same as the breeze coming from the sword and turned him into ice and the glow on his chest disappeared in an instant.

RedBringer's face turned into ice same as his whole body same as his sword. The red flaming blade he has turned into ice same as its flames. Half of Frostwyn's body turned into ice but he could still move. He suddenly kneeled half of his body into the ground catching his breath while holding his sword.

He suddenly throw up blood into the ground letting go of his sword. One Shira swordsman immediately approached him and helped him to stand as one Shira swordsman appeared near the frozen RedBringer and drew his blade.

He swung his sword towards RedBringer's frozen body about to end it all when all of a sudden, Frostwyn immediately stood with his eyes widened in terror.

"NO! You idiot! Don't swing that blade of yours or he'll get out! He's only frozen and he won't be able to escape that, his inside wasn't and since his an otherworldly being it only just made him unconscious, you can't break him like ice, he's that strong!" Frostwyn exclaimed making the swordsman come to a halt, almost ending things up to a complete disaster.
