"He just needs more rest, Mrs. Guevara." My face turned sour because of the last thing he said.

"Thank you, Doc." I said goodbye while I looked at the man lying on the bed staring at me.

"Did you hear what the doctor said?" I said sarcastically

"Yes, I heard," he said.

"You heard it. I hope next time, you call me, ah? Don't be so arrogant, mister," I said to him sarcastically while I was lying in front of him.

"Then sleep beside me, my wife." A smile plastered on his face.

"I don't want to," I told him.

"Fine.it's OK. I'm not going to call you and if something bad happens to me, you'll call the doctor again," he smirked at me.

I was stunned because of what he said and felt my senses. This man is condescending to me.

I took a deep breath. "F-Fine. just wait me here I'll just take a shower." I quickly turned my back on him and left his room.

I quickly took off all my covers as I entered my guest room. I entered the bathroom, I looked in the bathroom mirror.

I looked at my waist with a small scar on it. I clenched my fist while looking at my small scar. Even if it's small, it's a huge part of my personality that I will never forget.

I looked away and went to the shower. I also spent thirty minutes in the bathroom before I came out.

I immediately went to the closet where my clothes were that I put earlier. My eyes widened as my pajamas were only lingerie and not pajamas and t-shirts.

I slowly removed the blanket so I could enter. I lie down smiling. He must be sleeping so well that he won't notice that I entered.

I was like that for a few minutes when I felt someone reach my waist and put his foot on my leg. My body stiffened as I felt Hercules smelling me.

"My wife," he whispered softly. "I don't know why you're mad at me but I hope you forgive me. I love you, my wife."

I woke up when I felt someone kissing my cheek. I quickly opened my eyes. I was about to get up when I saw the man in front of me as he ran towards me.

"Hercules!" I was annoyed to call his name

"Yes, baby?" He answered

"You're heavy," I teased him.

he quickly left in front of me and lay down on my side and made me face him and he also put his leg on my leg.

"Good morning, my beautiful wife." My lips parted because of what he did. Fast but I felt it on my lips.

"Why did you kiss me?" I said to him

"Why? you're my wife. I can kiss you every time and we can make love every time." Tangina... I don't want to swear because it's still morning for that.

"What are you saying? Go away, I'm going to take a shower." I pushed him a little to get out but it was none of his business.

"Stay.I'm still sleepy," he said to me.

"Hercules! Take this leg of yours or I will cut it off?" I was so annoyed that I threatened him

I held my breath. "Don't you want me to cook for you?" I said softly to him and lightly touched his face.

"Yes, so remove that leg of yours," I told him. he immediately followed and removed it so I quickly got up from lying down. I looked for the bathrobe I brought yesterday, I saw it on the floor so I immediately took it.

I went out without looking back. I immediately went to my guest room where I was staying. I just washed my own face. I decided to take a shower so I immediately went to the bathroom and took off all my clothes.

What I saw on my neck made me realize that I knew who could do something. And I have a lot of hickeys on my neck. I frowned as I left the bathroom and finished getting dressed.

"Hija, why are you frowning?" The butler asked as he headed to the kitchen to prepare the judas, Hercules.

"It's nothing, Manang. Don't pay attention to it," I said and tried to smile. "I was going to prepare breakfast."

"Oh, here's Hercules' food." He took the tray with only food. I immediately took it.

"Thank you, Manang." I turned my back on him and walked out but I also stopped walking.

"Hija... How are you?" he smiled bitterly.

"I know there's a reason why you set foot in the mansion again," he began. "Do you still love him?" I laughed because of what he said.

I left him there and went up to Hercules' room. I just wiped away the tears that I didn't realize.
