Chapter 6 Six

TRACEY

I wipe the sweat off my forehead . Who would have thought that I would be give the permission to leave on time todays . I promised Sasha that I would stop by today to help her out to get the outfit for her party tonight . Her parent are damn serious with the marriage and she had talked things out with max . Max is really a gentle man . He promise her that she would still have the freedom she crave for . They might be married on papers but she would still do whatever she wants to do . She was happy hearing him tell her that so she is quiet with the marriage.

She has decided to get married to him since they or have a mutual understanding. But you know what I think, I think these two would fall in love . She called him her boyfriend and they are getting married . I'm sure they would definitely fall in love . They just don't know what going to strike them when they leave together and I can't wait to witness that myself . A smile tugged up my lip .

My bus finally arrive . I went inside and then made my way to Sasha's house .

I went to her room when I got there and saw her in a pile of dresses . She was trying to get something to wear but doesn't know which one . I laughed at the expression on her face .

" I can't believe you still have difficulty choosing what to wear even after buying a lot of dresses" I teased and she rolled her eyes

"I've been waiting for you . You know I hate it when I'm about to get dressy and you are my only hope here " she said as she lift up a green dress " does this looks good on me ?" She asked

I stared at the dress but it kind of look weird on her skin . I shook my head " I'll pass this one "

She groaned " you see this is why I wanted you here on time "

I chuckled " but I'm here now and I'm going to hell you out . Let's get into business "

She tried a pile of dress and baby skin colour caught my eyes . I have it to her " try this on . I think this is the one "

She took it and changed into it . She rushed to the mirror to stare at herself . I won't lie, it actually looks good on her . I had a smile on my face when I saw the look of satisfaction in her face " I look so good "

I nodded in agreement " you look magnificent. I'm sure max wont be able to take off his eyes on you. You are the epitome of beauty "

She turned around to give me a eyes " I knew you were a max shipper not I understand why you didn't go against marrying him "

I laughed out loud a " ofcourse I haven't met him but from what you've said about him , I'm really liking him for you . I know he is a good guy"

She playfully frown but it soon changed to a smile " you are the worse friend ever but I love you "

" ditto" I laughed

Sasha laughed then it subsided " I've been thinking about something earlier "

I was interested in what it is so I asked " what is that ?"

She exhaled while sit on the bed and i joined her on the bed too" I've been thinking about you and Tristen "

I furrowed my brows " what is that about him "

She shrugged " nothing bad . I was thinking about where your relationship is heading too. You two haven't talked about marriage yet. I know you live him so much and I know you two would end up together but what exactly are you two waiting for "

I exhaled " we'll first off we have dreams to pursue . We want to fulfill our dreams and the get married "

Sasha wasn't satisfied with my answer " I know you Tracey . I know you want to get married to Tristan so where is this chasing dreams come from . You two and still chase dream while living together unless there is something you aren't telling me "

She is right though: i keep making myself believe that he would propose one day. Even if we don't get married soon, I expect him to get engage with me . He doesn't come over to see me like before too. He only talk to me on phone and tell me that he was busy with work and since we both told eachother to pursue our dreams , I don't have the right to fight him for not seeing him but I expected some effort from him which he isn't giving .

" I really don't know Sasha . I know he loves me but with time he will get married "

She held my hand " you know I told you to accept the fact that I want to help you to work with dad but you refused "

I shook my head " you've been so helpful to me . The apartment I live in , you paid for it and you still want me to drain you out ? I'm good with what you've done for me . You truly are a good friend and I appreciate all that you do "

She shook her head " but I don't like the fact that you are suffering and I'm in a capacity of helping . I can help you out and you know that "

" I know you would help me in anyway you can but please let me do this myself . I want to try this my way . But I promise to ask for your help when things becomes too hard for me " I said to her sincerely " I know you worry for me but let's finish with your engagement party then we'll talk about my life "

She smiled " I love you Tracy " she hugged me

A smile tugged on my face " I love you more so let's prepare . We don't have much time "

She nodded yeah " the make up artist should be here right now . I want you to also put on some nice clothes and also apply some makeup . I won't leave without my bride maid "

I burst out laughing " I know I won't win an argument with you so let's get a dress for me "

I went through her wardrobe and picked out something that is well suitable for me .

We spend hours trying to prepare . The makeup artist arrived and we started with Sasha's face . I won't lie , she looks so damn gorgeous . My friend is so beautiful and I can't wait to see the smile on Max's face .

My rang on the bed and i went to get it . It was Tristan . I had a smile on my face and picked it up instantly " Hi love " I said through the phone

" hey babe. I'm sorry for not calling earlier can we see tonight "he asked

" uhm ...

" you don't want to see me ?"he asked and I shook my head knowing that he can't see me I said " not that . Sasha is getting engage tonight and you know how she always want me to be close to her . Can you come for the party instead ?"I offered

He thought about it I guess cos he was quiet for a while " why not . I don't mind going to the rich folks party . I'll get to drink some expensive drinks by the way "

I smiled " yeah . I'll send the address to you and then call me when you get there "

" sure babe . I love you "

He ended the call even before I could say it back . I didn't want to think too much about it but let it slide.

I turn back only to see Sasha staring at me " is anything the problem ? " she asked

I shook my head " it's Tristan and he wants to see me "

She frown " but you know I don't want you to leave me now that I need you "

I shook my head " ofcourse not. I won't leave you . I told him to come to the party instead "

She smiled " thanks for always standing by me . I promise to make it up to you"

I shook my head " you don't need to make anything up. I want to do this for you from the bottom of my heart so stop thinking about repaying me in anyway "

I used that moment to stared at her face well and she looks so beautiful " you look good Sasha "I said

" I know right "

" stop being cocky misses" I said with a stern look and she burst out laughing " whatever "

The make up artist was done with Sasha and she called me to come a seat . I don't know how I'd look with make up on my face . It's being ages since I apply some Heavy makeup . I don't mind looking good for Tristan . It's been three days now since we last saw each other . I can't wait to see his expression when he gets to see me . I miss him si damn much .

I know deep down that he misses me too cos he would have called to request to see me .
