Chapter 5 It's just a kiss.

Eira soak in her bathtub. Her hair in a messy bun. Eira lean her head back and enjoy her bath. Her eyes were close, but the only thing she recalled was Max's lips on hers.

Eira haven't been kiss like that for years. The way his lips felt on hers. Eira eyes snap open. Her cheeks red as a tomato.

How could she think about that. Kissing her enemy and to think she actually enjoyed it a little bit. Something is wrong with her.

Eira got out of the tub wrapping a pink towel around her. She walk out the bathroom and into her room that's still decorate the same way since she was little girl.

Eira got dress in a baby blue sweatpants and a white tank top. She lay on the bed. Staring up at the ceiling.

"It's a just kiss." Eira mumble. "It isn't my first kiss so why am I acting like this. Is it because that bastard kiss me."

"Which bastard kiss you?" Rune deep voice came from the door.

Eira jump up. "Damn it Rune don't you know how to knock?"

Rune ignore her and ask again. "Who kiss you?"

Eira glare at him, "no one. Get out of my room."

Rune didn't believe her. He clearly heard everything his sister said. Eira have the habit of talking to herself and saying her thoughts out loud. Plus she always get defensive when she's lying.

Rune didn't pry. "I knock but you were to busy talking to yourself. Mom want you to come down." With that he walk out. Leaving the door widen open.

Eira groan. She got off the bed shove her foots in the slippers and went out. At the stop of the stairs, Eira stop. Wasn't Rune supposed to be on a business trip? Why was he back so soon? Did he even went?

Lana smile brightly when she saw Eira. "Eira, come."

"Mom, what is it?" Eira ask walking towards Lana.

The subconsciously glance at Dexter and Rune who was whirpering to each other. Eira knitted her brows.

"Eira, your father and brother have something to say to you."

Eira groan. Everything Dexter wants to talk to her with Rune, it always about Eira being a substitute for Rune.

Dropping herself on the couch. Eira cross her leg and give a questioning look at Rune and

Rune step forward, "one of my hotels in Japan is currently facing crisis. I need you to go take a look." Rune said a authority voice that leaves no room for refusing.

Eira tilt her head. A scornful smile cross her lips. "Rune, don't you just love dumping your wok on me. Do I have to remind you that I have my own business to run?"

"I can handle it for you until you return," Lana say.

Eira eyes went from Rune to Dexter to Lana. Why did they want her leave so bad.

Rune gaze at his sister. Rune own four hotels in Japan. After Dexter told him about Max, Rune deliberately made one of the hotels start facing problem. Just to get Eira away from Max. Once Eira's away Rune could deal with things.

"How long?" Eira ask.

"Two are three years," Dexter answer.

"It deepen on how fast you solve the problem." Rune added.

It's best to make her stay for two or three years. That way Max's will forget all about her.

"I refuse," Eira said. "I am not going Rune find someone else."

Priya smile as she raise her glass of wine. The people sitting at the table did the same. They did a toast.

They were celebrating the success of a photo shoot. The protagonist of night was none other then Priya Robert.

"Another successful day," one of Priya colleague said.

"Yes it's all thanks to Priya." An other one chuckled.

"Guys it's thanks to all of us. We all work hard." Priya said.

Everyone felt good by Priya words. "Our Priya is such a nice person."

"Yes, she's like a white rose surrounded by thorny bushes," one said.

Everyone known what that person meant by saying that. Priya face dim a bit as she recalled the face of the man who betray her.

She was white rose while he and everyone else in his family was the thorny bushes.

The mood inside once lively mood, went down. Priya force a smile. She got up and excuse herself to use the bathroom.

"You just had to open your big mouth, huh?" One of Priya colleague said glaring at the person who made Priya sad.

Priya step out of the private room. She made her way to the restroom. After calming herself down. Priya force a smile and walk out.

Priya walk down the hallway back to the private room.

"Priya?"

Priya, back stiffen hearing the voice of the man that betray.

Tyler Davis had just exit his private room when he turn and saw Priya.

Priya didn't turn, she continue to walk. Tyler quickly caught up with her, he grasp her wrist stopping her in her track.

Priya turn to Tyler. Her pretty face held and unpleasant expression. Tears well in her eyes that she didn't dare to let fall.

Tyler heart ache in pain. This girl was the one he was in love with. But what did he do, hurt her when he had promise he wouldn't.

Priya parted her lips and said calmly in a soft voice. "Let go."

Tyler grasp on her wrist tighten. "Priya, I'm sorry. It's all my fault."

Priya wanted to laugh. "Of course it was your fault." Priya said. "You said you loved me, but you choice her."

Priya couldn't believe how stupid she was to actually believe him. Was this how her father felt? Right now to Priya 'I love you' is just words that could easily be use but have do feeling behind it.

Tyler heartache, "Priya, I did love you and I still do. That night I thought she was you. I swear."

"If Calia didn't come to you pregnant, I wouldn't have now anything. Did you know how I had felt?" Priya jerk her hand away. Running a hand trough her long raven black hair. "You could be with her, Tyler. She's with you're child. I don't care.

"Priya, I don't want her I want you." Tyler beg tears in his eyes.

"You had your chance," Priya turn to walk away.

"Tyler," A soft voice came from being Tyler.

Calia walk out of the private room. She walk up to Tyler. "Tyler, I came to look for you." Calia look ahead. "Oh Priya. It's been a while."

Priya stare at Calia. After trying to ruin Eira, Calia came after Priya.

"Yes, it has hasn't it." Priya said.

Calia clench her fist that hang by her side. "Do you want to join u-"

"No need. I have my own business here. A little advice keep a leash on your man. You know the saying once a cheater always a cheater." With that Priya turn and this time she walk away.

Calia bite her lower lip, her eyes glaring at Priya disappearing figure. Calia turn to Tyler.

"Tyler gran-"

"Don't touch me," Tyler pull away when Calia was about to touch him.

Calia step back. She couldn't have him pushing her. The baby in her womb is a the key to get her what she want.

Tyler walk pass her. He didn't return to the private room. He exit the restaurant.

Calia clench her fist, her finger nails digging deep insides her palm.

"Eira, Priya just you wait." Calia hand went on her flat stomach.
