I sashayed my way to the lobby and turned my head in all directions to see the old man who thought he was old enough to bully me. But I couldn't see him anywhere. Just as I turned to leave, I spotted two heavy built men in front of a cabin.
I walked towards them and their tags read Jin-tech. I sighed with relief. "I want to see your boss" I stated trying to hide how much they intimidated me. One raised his brow at me and lifted his hand. My first intuition must have been that he was going to hit me because I covered the top of my hair and the band and pin fell off, leaving my hair scattered all over my face. I'm not exaggerating but my hair was really long and I couldn't see a thing. I bent down to pick them up. "Let her in" I heard a voice and I felt the guards move from me. I stood up and tried to gather my hair together. Tried is what I said I did. Because I ended up standing awkwardly in front of my soon to be business partner. When I took the hair from my face I was able to look at the person in front of me and .. to say he was good looking was a downright understatement. He was just beautiful.
Sparkling brown grey eyes, a creatively carved pointed nose, strawberry red bow shaped lips and the sharpest jawline ever. He had the perfect features any girl could ever want. Who the hell was this guy?
"Done drooling??" He said humor dripping out of his tone. I came out of my fantasy world. He was talking but I wasn't listening. My eyes stayed on his beautiful lips even as he spoke. "Hello" he said and waved his palm in my face.
"Huhhh" I said stupidly. "I'm irresistible, don't make it too obvious" he said smugly. Narcissist.
I rolled my eyes to hide my embarrassment. I might cut my hair one of these days.
"I'm Jin Caprio, C.E.O of Jin-Tech" he stretched his hand and I took it. I swear that I wasn't the only one who felt something because he got startled a little. "Liliana Mendez" I replied.
"Nice building you got here" he remarked after the awkward handshake. "Clearly not up to my standards" he smirked. Lia's light brown orbs lit with anger.
"Who the f*** do you think you are..." She began. "Ahh.. These words don't match your beautiful face sweetie." He said, waggling his finger in her face. Lia didn't know whether to feel flattered or not. So she just turned away, ignoring the stupid butterflies somersaulting in her stomach....
