Chapter 5 DINNER DATE

James walked into his house and met Baron waiting for me by my cellar, drinking liqueur, he joined him immediately collecting the drink and pouring the drink into the glass

"You seem to be in a happy mood," Baron asked

" Yeah, you won't believe what happened" James replied getting down on the floor to display some dance moves

"Stop the frog jump and get to business dude" Baron replied boringly

"Joy killer, anyway Ann was here and she agreed to go on a date with me" James replied

"Ann? Who's that?" Baron asked

"Annabel kel" James replied

"Seriously, you are still planning to woo that murderer "Baron replied pissed

"Am going to pretend I didn't hear that and you would help me out with making sure that everything is perfect" James replied

"Are you not scared of dying ?" Baron asked concerned

"I LOVE her Baron, am sure you don't understand the meaning of love but I want you to support me, she is not a murder, someone you there just wants to tarnish her image and besides have increased the level of my security, am not dumb, am not going to take chances" James replied

"Fine, I would help with the whole plan of working here, even though I don't like the idea, what are brothers for?" Baron replied

"HELPING EACH OTHER" Baron and James replied as they toast to brotherhood, laughing in the process and chit-chatting until the whole bottle of liqueur was emptied.

Majesty Restaurant

Annabel could be seen in the restaurant, James had texted her. The place looked beautiful from the exterior and she could not wait to see what the interior would look like.

She was dressed in an off-shoulder dress that had silver stones on it, making it sparkle in the night, The gold chain on her wrists jingled as she walked majestically with so much pride and aura, and her hair was packed into a ponytail which made her face glow the more, the light make up made long lashes more evident, her big eyeballs was now bigger, her plump lips was painted, she looked like an angel in the white dress that stopped just below her kneel, the stiletto heel increased her height, as she arrived, she pushed the restaurant door open and everywhere was dark

"This is unusual, how would a restaurant be this empty and dark? Let me confirm the address he sent to me" Ann muttered inaudible

James saw how Ann walked into the restaurant and his palms became all sweaty

"James, you can do this bro, No lady would run you down with the way you look right now" Baron retorted

"Thanks, man" James replied

"So let us do this" They both chorused

One, two and three.................

Annabel was still confirming the location when the lights suddenly came on and different flowers were thrown in her direction, She giggled happily as she she inhaled the scent of the flowers, and she pouted sadly when the flowers stopped pouring, She looked up to see James standing in front of her looking as handsome as ever.

"James is more handsome than Gregory and Peter"Ann thought and gasped immediately realizing what she just said.

"They both loved you Ann" She scolded herself

Deciding not to ruin the night, she looked at James, dressed in a black tuxedo, with a rose flower in his breast pocket, his hands were tucked in his trousers and his hair curled to a part of his face and I felt the strong urge of rummaging my hand through that soft silky black hair and make a mess of it. The strong scent of his perfume hit my nose, he had this oak scent making him smell nice and at the same time hot and manly.

"She looked radiant in the white, her face was glowing, and her smile was perfect, The way she giggled was mesmerizing, she had pouted cutely even though it was sad, I didn't even know she loved flowers that much"James thought inwardly

Both of them seemed lost in their world of fantasy, and the music playing in the background fueled their emotions, It was magical, "Romeo and Juliet by Johnny Drilles". It felt like they were floating in the sky, in another world entirely with just the both of them present.

"My beautiful damsel, please let me" James stretched out his hands for her to place hers

"Of course my lord" Ann replied which got the two laughing at their little drama.

He held her hands and walked to a table, he had booked the whole restaurant for the night, he shifted the chair backward and helped her into her seat, earning a thank you from her. The waiter brought red wine for them, it seemed he had booked everything, so as not to disturb their moment, he looked at the movement of her lips as she sipped the wine. They ate their dinner of fried rice with chicken wings, with James constantly stealing glances at her, and when they were done eating they chatted.

"Please, may I have this dance" James retorted

" Yes please" Ann replied

They both stepped onto the dance floor, The lights were dimmed and the chandeliers radiated different colors"Unconditionally by Katy Perry" was playing and they began moving slowly to the beats of the music, her slender hands placed on his broad shoulders and he placed his hands on her waist and their free hands interlocked, Ann avoided James' gaze in every way possible

"Why are you avoiding my gaze? Are you shy, or perhaps you are falling for this cute guy" James said with an air of and Ann looked up immediately

"James Nathan, don't flatter yourself have met a lot more handsome guys than you in the modeling industry" Ann replied

"How about you prove that by looking directly into my eyes" James replied

"Fine, Mr. Nathan, I would prove you wrong, so next time you don't Annabel Kel" Ann replied

"Am afraid, she just threatened me " James said in a sarcastic tone that made the duo laugh

She looked up and stared directly into his eyes. It felt like he was looking directly into her soul, trying to pass a message but his eyes held so many emotions and desires that she could not decipher. Only one thought lingered in his mind

"Am going to make this woman mine, ONLY MINE" James thought.
