Chapter 3 New Queen

He painfully closed his eyes and opened it again...his eyes which was Amber.

Instantly turned to bloody red.

He shuddered a little bit as he look into her eyes,his eyes has turned back to its Normal Amber one.

"Are you okay?" Thana gently asked.

Dario as usual gave out a small nod.

Thana went ahead to apply the oily balm on him. When she was done, she moved slowly more closer to him and slid something into his hands.

"It's bread" She whispered.

"Am done" Thana stepped back from him.

"Excort him away,if he gets to do all the things I have denied him of your heads will be chopped off your Necks" King Basmus gave his command to the two guards.

"Yes your majesty" The guards bowed and walked away with Dario.

Dario slightly look back at Thana, Thana stretched her lips into a simple smile.

"Take care prince Dario" She muttered to herself.

"Have a nice day your majesty" Javier and Liza bowed. King Basmus watched them as they both walked away.

"Isn't it best if you treat that child, same way with the others?" King Henrik asked.

"That child is a bad omen" King Basmus muttered as they both were slowly walking.

Little Thana was at their front and she could clearly hear their conversations.

"Why do you say such?" King Henrik asked.

"His mother died the very day he was born...am still in grief for her death Henrik" King Basmus muttered sadly.

King Henrik look at him and felt bad for his friend.

"Am sorry about Queen Arianna,but do you think she will be happy wherever she is seeing that her son..."

"Henrik I thought you have a meeting to attend at your kingdom?" King Basmus suddenly asked cutting Henrik off.

King Henrik sighed and nodded.

"Yes I do"

They stopped walking Because they are now before king Henrik carriage.

"See you next time,well I will be the one to visit" King Basmus said.

"That will be an honor to behold your majesty" King Henrik bowed making King Basmus to roll his eyes.

He look away from him and his eyes landed on Thana who had her head lowered.

"Thana is growing" He said.

"Yes" King Henrik smiled and looked down at Thana.

"If she happens to ripe in the future,hope king Henrik will allow King Basmus to pluck the ripe fruit?" King Basmus asked jokingly.

"If it's one of the princes...I don't have a problem, but if it's king Basmus himself...then I absolutely have a problem with it" King Henrik grinned.

"Hahaha" King Basmus laughed.

"Till then we will know Henrik" King Basmus said admist laugh.

"Thana" King Basmus faced Thana.

"Yes your majesty" Thana replied.

"Take care of your father" King Basmus said.

Thana smiled and bowed.

"I will do that your majesty, but I also wish your majesty will take of Prince Dario" Thana said confidently.

King Basmus and King Henrik look at each other and laughed.

'What's funny?' Thana thought.

IN THE NIGHT**

DARIO'S CHAMBER***

Dario has eaten the bread that Thana gave him, but he was still extremely hungry.

Nobody wants him, everybody hates him. Will he be able to take this for so long? he is a little boy who needs love but didn't find one.

He was all alone on his large bed sobbing. Feeling weak...his eyes lids closed as he felled into a deep sleep.

Just then the candle lights flickered as Demetrio and Ezekiel appeared inside the chamber.

"What should we do about Basmus Demetrio?" Ezekiel asked.

"Nothing" Demetrio muttered as he walked towards the table and dropped the basket of food he brought.

He removed each and everyone one of them, he has rice, Eggs, bread, strawberry and apple.

"What do you mean nothing,Dario is suffering and that's because of Basmus...he is fûcking over stepping the boundaries" Ezekiel hissed angrily,but his angered isn't more than Demetrio's own.

But Demetrio displayed calmness.

"Shouldn't we just take the boy away?" Ezekiel demanded making Demetrio to snap his eyes at him.

Ezekiel just rolled his eyes.

"Gosh I can't stand him,the scent of his blood is driving me crazy and I feel like having a taste" Ezekiel said, his eyes glued on the sleeping Dario.

Just then his fangs protruded out of his mouth as he matched closer to Dario's bed.

He was about to go more further but he stopped halfway... feeling a dark Aura beside him.

He looked and saw Demetrio glaring dangerously at him...his red eyes has turned more darker and ominous.

Ezekiel shuddered, his fangs instantly went inside.

"Am sorry" He muttered with his head lowered.

"Let's leave" Demetrio muttered, he glance at Dario one last time as they both disappeared.

After a few minutes, Dario waked up perceiving the smell of the food.

"Food" He muttered and got down from the bed,his eyes immediately landed at the dishes on the table.

He hurried towards it and without second thought, he devoured it.

When he was done, he drank some water and Exhales.

That was when his eyes cleared off,,,he looked around.

"So where is the food From?" He asked know one in particular.

^QUEEN LOLA'S CHAMBER^

"Mother?" Liza and Javier called as they both walked into their mothers chamber.

"Yes" Queen replied, she is the first queen and a mother to Liza and Javier.

She is seated before the mirror as her personal maid paint her nails.

"My Queen" the children bowed.

"Guess what mother?" Liza asked.

"Leave" Queen Lola said to the maid as she left.

"Nice nails mother" Jaiver complemented.

"Thank you son" Lola smiled.

"So what happened?" Queen Lola asked.

"Is about Dario" Liza replied.

"Oh the witçh's son...what happened to him? Is he dead?" Queen Lola asked.

"We wished so" Liza and Javier replied at once.

"He isn't dead yet?" She asked and Her children shook their head.

"He was just locked up in his chamber,without having to eat or drink throughout today till tomorrow" Javier said.

"And I know is the king's order?" Queen Lola asked.

"Yes" they nodded.

"I just wished he will die soon or perhaps be removed from this kingdom, seeing him reminds me of his mother and I hate that...his mother came in between me and the King,she took the king away from me"

"I hate her so much...the day she died was my happiest moment ever,now that she is no more,I got the king all to myself again and what is left is her son,I will do everything to get rid of him" Queen said and stood up from her chair.

"If that happens...this kingdom will be peacefully ours with know third party again" She smiled and twired around.

Just then a knock came in,her personal maid walked in with her head lowered.

"My Queen" She bowed.

"Speak" Queen Lola demanded arranging her hair.

"I got an information, that your majesty the king will be bringing in a third wife" The maid announced.

"What?" Queen Lola gasps, including her children.

"I need to see the king" She turned walking towards the door as her maid followed suit.

"Mother wait!"Liza Called.
