Chapter 7 Ch. 7

"Did you encourage him? Or lead him on?" Alpha Monty asks me.

If my jaw weren't so sore, it would have dropped open with me looking at him as if he had lost his mind. I was assaulted and almost and he is acting like I asked for it?

This, this right here is why I need to get the hell out of this pack I don't care if we go to live with humans in the city, but I need to get out of here. This Alpha is a piece of crap and even the Luna is looking in surprise at him for the comment.

I shook my head, "No" and then there was a knock on the door. The pack doctor was let into the room and came straight to me to check my face out.

My jaw was indeed broken right on my left side when he slapped me with force on the hinge of my jaw. I had a black eye and a broken nose that the doctor set for me and then told me that my wolf would have to do the rest for me.

I guess he figured that I had a wolf. I guess I do because she has been healing me for the last two years.

I start to cry in frustration that Alpha Monty would assume that I had "asked for it" and I hear another knock on the door.

The Alpha called out for them to come in, and it was Beta Lewis„

"What did Jack say to you?" Alpha Monty asked Beta Lewis.

"He said that she came into his room and came onto him, then she changed her mind right when they were going to have s*x", Beta Lewis said to Alpha Monty.

"That is what I thought," Alpha Monty said.

"That is really not what it looked like when we arrived Alpha Monty," Beta Lewis said to him, and Alpha Monty looked back over at him.

"l didn't ask you what it looked like. I asked what Jack said. I don't need your input, I am the Alpha here. It is my decision to make on the punishment. Jack is a valued warrior of our pack, and I am great friends with his father. I have known him since he was a child. He made a simple mistake that any man could have made" Alpha Monty said, and then continued to look at me while he decided.

"Your parents have always been loyal members of the pack. Always helpful, always respectful. Jack has been as well, and you are obviously in a lot of pain from your injuries. I think that we just need to leave this alone. No need to punish young Jack more than he had already been punished, when Beta Lewis jumped the gun and knocked him out. You should have waited until I had made my decision on is before you acted so rashly. I know that Derek and you are friends and that you earned your position, but you need to know your place

here in the pack. I believe what Jack said, and I feel like he has been punished enough" Apha Monty said, and I knew that he had been mind linking with him this whole time, or at least when Jack woke you from being hit.

My mom opens her mouth to say something, and I squeeze her hand. They need to think that we are ok with what he has decided on doing, or we will never be able to leave this stupid ass pack. I am ready to just leave

right now, but mom still has to cook the celebration dinner as Derek is around here somewhere with his mate, and still needed to get done.

Luna Liz looked upset by what her husband had decided and came up to me to ask in a low tone if I was alright No, how could I be, a disgusting jerk had his hands on me, and I don't know if I will ever feel clean again right now. I only had a few outfits, but thankfully the Luna is about my size and had leggings and a t-shirt brought to me for me to wear.

I went down with my parents and I sat on the island and helped out where I could, and my dad sat next to me. I saw Jack come into the kitchen and head straight for me, but Luna Liz showed up right after him.

I believe that she had been watching for him. He decided to go outside instead and watch me through the glass of the window. Luna Liz left for about 20 minutes and when she came back, she slipped an envelope to me and said,

"Don't open it here," before gliding out the doors and going back out to the dining room.

Mom got through with the food and she packed up some for us to take home and eat in our cottage.

I was glad to get to leave and Luna Liz told me that I could have laundry duty off tomorrow. Probably, because going into the rooms would make me relive what Jack did to me about 400 times tomorrow, so that at least was a good thing. She told me that I could assist my mom in the kitchen, and I knew that Luna Liz was trying to protect me in doing what she was doing. She knew what she saw as well in that room, and it hadn't been me coming onto him at all.

I hope he is ashamed of his actions, but I know in my heart that he is not and he head home for the night.

After I leave this hell hole, that is it, nothing could possess to return to this place again. This whole pack

needs to crumble to the earth and be destroyed.

Mom and dad slept with their door open tonight and I was wondering why, as they usually talk to each other before bed, and as they put it, "These are adult conversations at you don't need to be involved in, or worry about".

They did shut the door for about 20 minutes talking, and then they came in to tuck me in and tell me how much they oved me. They told me that tomorrow night, as soon as we could get clear, we would packing and leaving this pack, probably around 5 am on Sunday, and tell the gate guards that we were off to the farmers' market to get supplies for the week.

We usually do that on Saturday, but they know that she is the cook, and they will believe it.

Dad had gone to the bank today and closed out our account, which consisted over $5,000 dollars, which was a real surprise for me, and my eyes got big. We also had received money from the Luna, who had given us $5000 as well.

I knew that she had figured out at we were going to leave the pack, as she had seen what was going on, and both he and the Beta knew I had been sexually assaulted by Jack.

The $10,000 will help us to get far away from here.

"We were saving up a car for you, so we put all of our catering money in there and only touched what we needed, like the food that was needed to be prepared, and the catering supplies we needed for each job.

We can use this to get a place in the city with humans, and maybe start a bakery that we can run together",

Mom tells me, and I brighten up. I can get my transcripts and finish high school in the city, and I won't have to worry about being hurt anymore. My eyes filled up with tears, and they knew I couldn't speak, so they asked my yes or no questions.

"Are those happy tears baby?" My dad asked me.

I nodded yes.

"Are you happy we will start a bakery?" Mom asked me.

I nodded yes again.

"Are you ok with working there with us?" Dad asked me

I nodded yes again. I would love to work With them. I am so excited to leave here, and all of our lives will be a lot better.

I have a hard time sleeping and have to lay on my right side, as my face feels terrible. I am glad the doctor set my nose. I hope my wolf can fix what Jack did to me. I hate that she has to work so hard with all that has

been done to me. I don't even know her yet, but she had been the best at helping me throughout my teen years. I haven't met her yet, and I hope she doesn't get mad at me for her having to work so hard.

I fall off to sleep and wonder what will happen tomorrow, because if this week is anything to go by, I am not done with the week from hell yet.
