Chapter 5 A Deal

After the journalists left disappointed that they couldn't get the information they were looking for, Hamza and Iravati continued their journey to their destination. They arrived in an area filled with luxurious housing and large gardens. Amid all this beauty, there was a magnificent mansion that belonged to a conglomerate businessman.

The house was towering, with an elegant and classic architectural design. As they approached the entrance, they were greeted by a row of marble columns adorning the hallway leading to the main room. The marble floor shimmered with the light reflecting off the high ceiling, creating an undeniable aura of luxury.

The main room they entered was large and spacious, decorated with beautiful art paintings and luxurious furniture. The ceiling adorned with stained glass presents a spectacular beauty when the sunlight shines in. The room exudes an undeniable charm, reflecting the splendor of the conglomerate's homeowner.

Throughout the hallways and rooms, there are high-value artworks, jewelry collections, and other luxury items that showcase the wealth and respected image of the businessman. All of this reflects his social status and the power he wields.

Assistant Alex Sinclair, a handsome young man with undeniable charm, came to pick up Hamza and Iravati in the main room. He flashed a perfect yet slightly imperious smile, revealing the confidence he possessed.

"Welcome, Sir, Madam," he greeted in a calm yet authoritative voice.

"Please follow me to the special room that has been prepared."

Hamza and Iravati followed Alex through the elegant hallway, past various beautiful rooms filled with precious art collections. They could not ignore the charm and luxury that radiated from every corner of the room.

A few hours later, after the debts were settled, they had a short talk with the owner of the house, who was none other than Alex Sinclair.

"Nice to meet you, sir--"

"Alex Sinclair," Alex cut in.

Iravati's eyes opened wide at the man's name. Her memory of Bella's story yesterday was still sharp. It didn't take long for Iravati to realize her surprise.

"I heard your daughter's wedding is going to be canceled, is that true?" asked Alex.

Iravati and Hamza looked at each other. How did the young man know what was going on. He was the only one in the family who knew. "How did you know," Hamza asked.

Alex tilted his smile. "Mr. Hamza didn't you know that your future daughter-in-law posted a confession letter on her social media story. I understand now, you and your family must have tried to cover it all up. But it turns out that your future son-in-law opened this secret to the public. How sad,"

Iravati looked down in shame after hearing what Surya had done. She truly regretted what he had done. The one who was supposed to protect Bella's honor was the opposite.

Hamza felt the same way. His hatred for Surya was growing. "I have decided to find the right man to marry my daughter," Surya said.

"After what happened, you're still going to marry your daughter? To whom?" said Alex questioningly.

Hamza let out a long sigh. "I don't know. But after this I am trying to find that man," Hamza said uncertainly.

"Mr. Hamza, I'm sorry about what happened to your family. But I can't forget what your daughter did at the hotel yesterday. I don't even think the debt you paid in full is enough to repay the price of myself and the brand I released a long time ago. But sir, on behalf of my bodyguard, I apologize for the mess I made," Alex explained.

Recalling the incident, Hamza was almost furious. But he realized his current anger would not solve everything. "I realize that what you have done cannot be separated from the actions of my second wife," Hamza said.

"It's good that you know. But like I said earlier. Our families have been enemies for a long time. Why don't we tie the knot," Alex suggested.

Hamza was surprised. He looked at the young man sharply. "What do you mean?"

"Don't get carried away Mr. Hamza. My suggestion was just an option. The decision is yours. If you wish, I am willing to marry Princess Isabella. This is not a compulsion but a choice. Firstly, I want to repair a long fractured relationship and secondly, I want to ease your burden. Mr. Hamza after what happened, I'm sure your business and career will be as bright as ever," Alex explained.

"NO! I disagree," Iravati said as she stood up.

"Madam, please sit quietly," Alex pleaded.

Iravati sat back down and looked at her ex-husband. "He is after your daughter. How can you get your daughter married based on a business deal? Do you want to sell your daughter ha?" whispered Iravati.

Hamza pondered for a while as he absorbed his wife's words. As a company leader and also a father, his mind was in a dilemma. If he refused Alex's offer then after this his company would go bankrupt as there were no more shares left. He would also fail to fulfill his promise to his daughter, Bella.

"Mr. Hamza I don't think this deal will work. I just want you to know one thing, I'm only doing this to bridge our long fractured relationship. That's all, nothing more," Alex continued.

Hamza glanced at his ex-wife. "I have no other choice. Bella's good name and family are threatened, the public already knows everything so I will agree---"

"Remember! Bella hates that man. Are you going to fulfill Gunjani's prophecy? Where the fortune teller had predicted that Bella would marry her enemy. Think once again. I don't think you should take this decision. Please don't," said Iravati.

"Bella's happiness is the most important thing to me. But her good name is also more important. You've only heard the other side of the man from Bella's view. Let's see, the man offered to establish a relationship with our family. That means he is willing to protect Bella's honor," Hamza explained.

Iravati shook her head.

"After I thought about it. I agree," Hamza said as he stood up.

Alex smiled as he also stood up. He approached the middle-aged man and shook hands with him. "I admit Sir, you are not only a great businessman but also a wise father figure," Alex praised.

With that, Alex Sinclair managed to capture Bella with his alluring charm, while Hamza felt relieved as if he found the missing piece in his daughter's life that would be united with the man he thought was right, bringing new hope and happiness to their journey.

After exiting the luxurious and majestic house, both Hamza and his ex-wife immediately got into the car. Even after the car was running, there was no conversation between the two.

Hamza quietly noticed the troubled, confused, and disappointed look on his ex-wife's face. Hamza understood what she was feeling at the moment. Caught between prophecy and reality.

"As you have done before. You always prevented your daughter from hating others. You made sure she had no enemies," Hamza said, breaking the silence in the car.

"I did all this because I am just an ordinary mother. I'm not like a company leader who sells his son for honor," Iravati said.

Iravati's words must have deeply offended Hamza. "Whatever it is, I have put my trust in that man. His late father was my most loyal friend. I'm sure he will keep his word," Hamza said.

"If he's so loyal, why did he lose you?" asked Iravati with a sardonic look.
