"What's this?" Dave showed Ryan a picture of him and Miley.

Ryan took a look at it and he scoffed.

"It's nothing..." He mouthed and then began playing the keyboard.

"Oh really, don't tell me you like her?' Dave asked and he instantly stopped playing the keyboard. The look on his face changed immediately.

"Are you serious?" He snapped at him and stood up.

"I don't like not will I ever have any feelings for any lady so would you stop pushing it?" He said and walked away and Dave sighed.

"When will you learn to move on, Ryan?" Dave asked no one and suddenly he smiled.

"No matter how you deny it, you are definitely having a soft spot for Miley. At least, you will be able to love again.." Dave said.

Ryan smoking heavily as he stared into the beautiful sky. He sighed when he remembered something.

"I love you so much heartbeat but this is for the better" The words rang in his hair and he groaned, before running his hands into his hair.

"I should forget her. I have already.." He assured himself and his phone beeped.

He brought out and puffed put the smoke from his mouth. It was a message from Ignatius. He clicked on it and read it.

"Boss, I think the Cryus family had something to do with her death.."

Ryan's hands tightened on the phone and he looked up. His lips were telling as he did. Another message came in and he checked it again.

"Are you still going to marry her? She's literally your enemy.."

Ryan smirked and then typed back.

"Yes.."

THE NEXT DAY

6PM

"Your makeup is done, ma'am.." The makeup artist said and Miley opened her eyes. She stood up and checked herself out and she smiled.

"You look beautiful.." Kelly said behind her and she smiled.

"I have to anyway, it's my engagement party.." Miley smirked.

"Thanks, you may go now.." Miley said to the makeup artist. She smiled and walked out.

"Is my gown ready?' Miley asked Kelly.

"Yeah but are you sure about this? Do you really want to get married to Ryan?" Kelly asked and Miley smirked.

"Yeah, that's the only thing that can make my plan successful. I'm going to crush them that they will regret ever treating me this way. Just watch how I'll make them pay.." Miley said with a dangerous look on her face.

Kelly sighed. Her friend was so determined but she doesn't want this to end in a bad way.

"And what of Whitney? Is she included in your plans?"

Miley turned to her and then smiled.

"Yes!"

The engagement party had already begun. Many dignitaries were invited, well known celebrities and business men were not lwcr out. Right now, a toast was made to the bride and the groom as they made their entrance.

"A toast to the bride and the groom!" The Mc announced.

Screams were heard and also lots of applause.

Miley and Ryan walked in. Miley smiled brightly at the audience while Ryan just kept a straight look.

They got to their seats and sat down.

"The bride and the groom really look good with each other. It's a still a surprise how they fell in love. We still can't get over the fact that the nation's treasure is getting married soon. Single ladies, he's taken now. So forget about him.." The Mc said and everyone laughed except Ryan who was still looking around with that straight face.

Miley was getting irritated already. He would ruin her plans if he continues like this.

Meanwhile Ryan was not just interested in all this. He glanced at Laura, then at Justin and then Miley and he clenched his fists angrily.

Miley leaned closer to him and then whispered to him.

"Smile at least.."

Ryan looked at her and scoffed.

"I'm not doing that.." He said and she smirked.

"Oh really! What do you mean by that? We told the world that we were getting married because we fell in love. What do you want them to think?" Miley asked. Ryan looked at her and then looked away.

"I don't give a fucking damn about what anyone says.." He said and Miley clenched her fists angrily.

"This arrogant bastard.." She mumbled under her breath. Suddenly she smirked and then faced him.

"Ryan.." She cared and he sighed before looking at her. He furrowed his brows when he saw her smirking. Before he could even talk, she cupped his cheeks and gave him a quick peck on his lips. His eyes widened at that instant. Even the audience was not left out.

"Woah! Did you see that?"

"Gosh! They are madly in love with each other!"

"I'm so jealous..'

"Wow! Our couples has already taken their romance to the next level.." The Mc said and Miley slowly brought down her hands from his cheeks. Ryan was still shocked.

"What's was that stunt for?" He asked in a cold voice when he got his voice.

Miley smirked.

"You did yours right, it's payback time.." She winked at him and Ryan scoffed again.

"This lady, she's crazy. Completely crazy.." He thought.

"Now it's time for the engagement.."

Miley and Ryan stood up. Ryan sighed. He hated doing all this cringy things but he was stuck! He really hated things like this.

Ryan brought out a box of ring and then opened it, he brought out the ring and then inserted it to her finger. The audience clapped happily.

Laura sighed in relief and smiled.

Suddenly someone shouted from behind.

"Congrats to the newest couples in town.."

Everyone turned back and then a pretty lady in a beautiful white slim fitted gown walked forward.

As soon as she came into view, Miley smiled while Ryan's eyes widened.

"Hii everyone.." Whitney said.

"Whit.. Whitney.." He muttered in shock.

Whitney took her eyes to Ryan, their eyes met and she smiled. She walked towards them and when she got to them, she hugged Miley. She broke the hug and then looked at Ryan before hugging him.

"Hii heartbeat.." She whispered
