Chapter 7 Marco Part 3

"This ghost was named Marco, when Sylvia sealed him he had only been dead for about four months. He died of an illness. Since childhood, he had heart disease. His life was very restricted, he couldn't even eat food as he pleased, and he was always alone. never complains, it's just that he has one wish that can't be fulfilled until he dies."

"What's the wish?" he asked.

"She's always wanted to have a beautiful girlfriend. Because of that, his ghost runs around, he still can't calm down before his wish can be fulfilled. Before Marco's ghost was sealed by Sylvia, he always kidnapped beautiful girls in this school."

"W-What?"

Leslie and Sean both had shocked expressions after hearing what I said.

"Yes, to stop him and to save the girls he had kidnapped, Sylvia sealed Marco's ghost. Even though Marco had only been dead for four months, his ghostly aura was so strong."

"Why did it happen?" Leslie asked.

"That's because his desire to have a beautiful girlfriend is very big. His desire has given enormous power to his wandering ghost."

"Then what happened to the girls he kidnapped after Marco's ghost was sealed?" Sean joined in the question.

"They appeared by themselves as soon as Marco's ghost got into this sign. Marco's ghost always takes the girls with him wherever he goes. It's just that their whereabouts are hidden by Marco's ghost so humans can't see them."

"Hmm, I see," said Leslie and Sean in unison.

"Yes, that is so."

"Wait a minute. We already know what Marco's ghost wants so we don't need to ask Leslie to communicate with him, do we?"

I also have the same thought as Sean. We already know why Marco became a ghost, it's just that until now I haven't found a way to calm him down so he can go to his world.

"Just let him stay sealed because there's no other way to prevent him from causing more trouble. We can't fulfill his wish. There's no way we can find him a girlfriend. There's no way he can date a human and more importantly there's no way a human would want to date a ghost."

I can't get over Sean's words. I realized that what he said was true. Maybe I should just let Marco's ghost remain sealed inside this sign.

"No. I don't agree with what you're saying, Sean."

Leslie, who expressed her disapproval, succeeded in making Sean dumbfounded.

"What do you mean, Leslie?"

"I still have to meet Marco's ghost. He'll show me his memories. Maybe there's something else he wants without anyone else knowing. It's usually like that, right, we can find out and find a way to calm the ghosts that roam around after I come to the world their memories. I'm sure it will be this time too. So, Angie, unseal it, I want to see him."

"Are you sure, Leslie?" I asked once again confirming this decision.

"Of course. It's for this reason, isn't it, you're asking for my help?"

I nodded my head in response to Leslie's words. True to what she said, for a moment I forgot my real purpose of asking Leslie for help.

"But Leslie, I don't agree. I don't think Marco's ghost seal should be removed."

Sean continued to voice his disapproval. I was surprised by Sean's attitude, he doesn't usually act like this.

"What are you doing, Sean? Are you worried about me?" asked Leslie with narrowed eyes suspiciously.

"A-Actually that's how it is."

Leslie then flashed a smile. "You don't need to worry. I've done this many times and it's been fine so far. I'm sure it will be the same this time. You trust me, right?"

Sean was silent, he still stared at Leslie intently.

"Sean, you don't believe me?"

"Of course, I believe, just promise me you'll be back soon."

"Of course. Wait for me, I'll be right back," Leslie replied excitedly before she turned to look at me. "Come on, Angie, begin the ritual to unseal it."

I saw stability in Leslie's eyes, I nodded my head in agreement with her request.

I put the nameplate on the floor and started to recite the sentence to break the seal.

"O spirit Marco who is locked in this nameplate. I call you... I order you to get out of this nameplate. Marco, you are free from this lock...!!"

As the sentence ended, a gust of wind blew. The nameplate seemed to vibrate violently.

"Marco's ghost is slowly coming out of the sign."

I also understood what was going on after hearing Leslie's words.

The sign stopped shaking and I saw Leslie looking straight ahead. She stared unblinkingly.

"Leslie, is Marco's ghost in front of us now?" I asked curiously.

"Y-Yeah, he's hovering over me."

"You don't scream, usually if you see a ghost you will scream in fear?"

"He's not scary at all."

Hearing Leslie's answer, I was reminded of Marco's ghost, which was described by Sylvia. I remember that time Sylvia also said the same thing that Leslie just said.

Leslie who was standing beside me suddenly fell, it indicated that Marco's ghost was bringing Leslie to his memory world when he was still human. Sean held Leslie's body quickly.

Sean and I were always close to Leslie, we didn't leave her for a second.

We waited long enough, but Leslie was showing no signs of regaining consciousness yet.

"Why isn't Leslie back yet?" Sean asked, starting to worry about Leslie.

"Maybe in a bit. Have patience, Sean."

"But usually not this long."

"Maybe Marco's ghost showed Leslie lots of memories. You'll have to be patient, keep praying for Leslie to come back soon."

Sean didn't respond to what I said, he just kept looking at Leslie with a worried expression on his face.

After that we tried to be patient, we kept waiting for Leslie to regain consciousness. However, until quite a long time passed, Leslie also showed no signs of opening her eyes. Of course that made Sean panic again.

"It's been 4 hours, she's never gone in this long. Usually, it's not an hour. Angie, how's it going?"

It's true what Sean said, we've been waiting for about 4 hours since Leslie lost consciousness, but there's still no sign that Leslie will regain consciousness. Leslie looks like she's fast asleep. Seeing this, I began to worry about it.

"Leslie, wake up! Leslie!!"

Sean screamed while shaking Leslie's body, but Leslie's eyes remained closed.

"Angie, how is it?" Sean was getting panicked. So am I.

"Leslie, wake up! Leslieeeee!!!"

I also panicked a lot and shouted for Leslie like Sean did.

"Leslie! Leslie!!!"

Sean and I called out Leslie's name together, but Leslie still didn't open her eyes.

"How about this, Angie? What should we do?"

"We'll just wait a little longer."

"How long do we have to wait?!"

"In a minute," I said trying to think positively.

"If Leslie still doesn't come back, what should we do?"

"Bring her to my house, I'll try to do my best."

Finally, Sean fell silent after hearing what I said.

However ...

No matter how long we waited, Leslie didn't wake up either. Finally, Sean and I took Leslie to my house.

When I got home, I called my dad to ask what happened to Leslie. I was wide-eyed when I heard his words. According to my father, Leslie was in this condition because Marco's ghost had taken her soul. Marco's ghost has locked Leslie's soul so it can't return to her body.

"What should I do, Father? That child is like this to help me," I asked trying to ask my father for help because I had no way to save Leslie.

"You have to find your way. Angie, you are from a family of psychics. You have to learn to solve problems like this."

"But father..."

"All this happened because you have no ability, Angie. You have to learn from now. If daddy dies, you're the one who has to replace daddy."

After saying that, father hung up the phone. I don't know what should I do to save Leslie.
