Chapter 10 Their Decision

"Are they going to stay here for a while?" Flora whispered to Stella while they were sitting outside Flora's house. "I don't know and I don't want to talk to him!" Stella answered, and Flora shook her head in disbelief. They were sitting in the garden where Flora and Stella used to stay. "My brother will come home today, Stella!" Flora said, which made Stella look at her. "Are you serious?" Stella asked her, and Flora nodded her head.

Stella looked at Brandon who was talking to Tyros, she stood up and went to them. Brandon immediately noticed her presence so he looked at her. "What?" Brandon asked her, "Are you not done checking on me?" Stella asked him, and Brandon glared at her. "Why do you always want me to leave?" Brandon couldn't stop himself from asking that question to Stella. "I just don't want your presence near me!" Stella answered, and Brandon smirked at her right away.

"Do you think I want this, huh? I'm just doing this because of my father!" Brandon answered and stood up from his seat. Tyros immediately stopped him but Brandon didn't listen to him. "Yeah, you are right! So leave now!" Stella said, and Brandon nodded his head. "You don't need to do that because I will leave on my own!" Brandon said and looked at Tyros. They started walking away when Sky came, "Oh! That's the reason why you want me to leave?" Brandon said and looked at Stella.

Stella didn't say anything and just looked at him. They went away while Sky approached her, "What was that?" Sky asked her. "Nothing!" Stella answered and looked at Flora. "I need to go! Thank you, Flora!" Stella told her, and Flora nodded her head.

"Anytime!" Flora said and waved her hands to Stella. Stella started walking until she reached their house. She was alone there so she cooked for their dinner. She waited for her sister to come, and Daisha came before dark came. "Did you just cook?" Daisha asked her, and Stella nodded her head. "Don't judge my cooking skills!" Stella warns her sister, and Daisha laughs at her. "I won't!" Daisha answered.

They went to the kitchen, and Daisha opened the casserole to see what Stella cooked for dinner. She got a spoon to taste it while Stella was waiting for her reaction. Daisha tasted it and looked at Stella, "What?" Stella asked her and waited for what she would say. "Where did you learn how to cook?" Daisha asked her, and Stella couldn't stop herself from smirking.

"It tastes good, right?" Stella asked her sister, and Daisha nodded her head. "You should cook for us!" Daisha told her, but Stella shook her head. "Nah, Dad will just waste it! He is not fond of me." Stella answered and started preparing their table.

"Don't think about it because I will still appreciate what you cook!" Daisha cheered her up, and Stella nodded her head. "Thanks!" Stella answered and Daisha went to her room to change her clothes.

Stella finished preparing their food on the table and got some water from the fridge. The dark came and they started eating their dinner. "Dad will not be here for a long time so you are free to walk inside our house." Daisha told her, and Stella agreed with her. "That is what I am doing right now!" Stella answered and drank some water.

They finished eating their dinner, and Daisha volunteered to wash the dishes while Stella was in the living room. "I will sleep now!" Daisha told her after doing the dishes, "Sleep well!" Stella told her and opened the television. She didn't watch it and just listened to it.

Midnight came and that's when Stella decided to rest so she turned off the television and went to her room. She brushed her teeth and washed her face. After taking a half bath, she went out of the bathroom and dried her hair. She was busy drying her hair when she heard some noise from the window. She looked outside but it was plain black there.

Stella saw a pebble hitting the window from Daisha's room. She looked down but saw no one, "Who is that?" Stella told herself and left the window when Daisha opened her window. She tried to listen to what they were talking about but Daisha's voice was so low and couldn't understand what they were saying.

"Go now!" Stella heard Daisha's voice and that's when she looked outside again. Daisha closed her window while Stella was still searching for who her sister was talking to.

When she couldn't see anything, she decided to lie on her bed. Morning came and Stella woke up early so she could meet her sister. She was looking at her, and Daisha noticed it. "Do you want to tell me something?" Daisha asked her, but Stella shook her head. "Nothing!" Stella answered, and Daisha nodded her head. "Okay, I will leave now!" Daisha said and walked away.

Stella was still curious about what happened last night but she didn't want to ask her sister about that. She didn't have someone to talk to because Flora already left their town. Stella was walking inside the woods and didn't mind her surroundings. She reached their hidden spot and sat on the broken tree.

"I didn't see her with a guy. Who is that though?" Stella asked herself while looking around. She was enjoying her time when she heard some footsteps heading to her place. She turned around and saw Tyros walking towards her.

"What now, Tyros?" Stella asked him, and Tyros smiled at her. "Let me sit first, Stella!" Tyros told her, and Stella shook her head in disbelief. Tyros sat beside her and looked around. "I heard that Flora is on vacation with her family." Tyros said, and Stella looked at him. "You are right, she is not here!" Stella answered.

"I found out that you are Brandon's mate!" Tyros said, "Wow! That's great!" Stella answered sarcastically. "Why are you giving me that kind of attitude? I am not Brandon!" Tyros told her and laughed at her. "Still, you are his friend." Stella answered, and Tyros nodded his head at her.

"But still, I am not him!" Tyros said, which made Stella roll her eyes at him. "Okay, you can go now!" Stella told him, and Tyros started laughing at her. "You need to work out with your patience, young lady!" Tyros said and stood up. "You don't need to talk a lot, leave now!" Stella told him, and Tyros started walking away.

Stella found peace again when Tyros left her alone. She was enjoying the quiet place and lying on the broken tree. Stella didn't realise that she fell asleep while looking at the sky.

She woke up when she heard a howl near her, she sat on the ground and looked around. She saw a wild boar walking near her and a huge wolf followed the wild boar. She immediately stood up and watched how the wolf caught the boar.

When the wolf shifted into human form, Stella looked away so she could give the wolf some privacy. "I didn't know that you were here!" Stella looked at him after hearing his voice— it was Brandon. "Gosh!" Stella whispered while thinking about why she always met Brandon. "What did you say?" Brandon asked her, and she immediately shook her head. "Nothing, I will go home now!" Stella answered and started walking away.

Brandon walked beside her, and Stella noticed how close he was to her. She immediately moved away, which made Brandon look at her. "What's wrong with you?" Brandon asked her, and Stella immediately shook her head. "Just don't walk close to me!" Stella answered and walked again. "You are weird!" Brandon told her while carrying the wild boar he got from hunting.

Stella saw the path of their house and it was different from Brandon's path that he would take. She stopped walking and looked at Brandon. "Tell your father that he doesn't need to worry about me a lot! I am grown up now, I can handle myself!" Stella said, and Brandon nodded his head. "Too easy for you to say so tell that to my father personally." Brandon answered and smiled at her.

Brandon waved his hand at her and walked away. Stella couldn't do anything but watch him leave. She shook her head in disbelief and started walking back to their home. The dark came and Stella knew that her sister was already at home. She opened the door and she was surprised when she saw her father sitting in the living room.

"I got a message from Alpha Raven and he told me that you were with Brandon earlier. It is nice to hear that you are having time to spend with him." Remus told her daughter as soon as Stella came inside their house. "That is the only thing you care about, huh?" Stella asked him, and Remus stood up from the couch. "We need to be practical, Stella!" Remus answered and patted Stella's shoulder.

Stella watched her father leave the living room and went to her room. She didn't eat dinner with them and her family was used to it. When it was already midnight, that's when Stella left her room. She was looking for some leftovers in the kitchen when she heard again a noise from outside.

It was a noise coming from pebbles hitting the window. She looked outside and still couldn't see anything there. "Leave! She's still awake!" Stella heard her sister's voice from the open window. The noise stopped and Stella scanned the area.

"She's old enough, Stella!" Stella told herself and went back to the kitchen. She was getting her food and went to the living room to eat there. She opened the television so she would not be bored while eating alone.

After eating, she washed the plates that she used and went back to her room. She took a half bath and went to sleep.

The next day came, and Stella woke up when she heard her father was calling her. She opened the door and saw her father outside. "What?" She asked her father, "Prepare yourself and we will go to Alpha Raven's house." Remus answered, and Stella couldn't stop herself from rolling her eyes at her father.

Stella closed the door and went to the bathroom to take a bath. She was drying her hair and putting some makeup on. After preparing herself, she left her room and her father was waiting for her in the living room.

"Let's go?" Her father asked her, and Stella nodded her head. "Yep!" Stella answered and they went out of their house. They went inside the car and Remus started driving towards the house of their alpha.

They reached the house, and Remus parked his car outside. Some of the maids welcomed them as soon as they got out of the car. "Just follow me, sir!" One of the maids said, and they followed her until they reached the living room. "Alpha Raven will be here at any moment." The maid said, and Remus nodded his head at her. "Thank you!" Remus said, and the maid smiled at him.

"Sit down, Stella!" Remus told his daughter, and Stella sat far away from her father. "Your attitude, Stella!" Remus warned her, and Stella nodded her head. "I know!" Stella asked, and that's when Alpha Raven appeared.

He came into the living room with Brandon. Stella didn't look at Brandon and greeted their alpha. "Please have a seat!" Alpha Raven told them, and Stella sat in front of Brandon.

"I called you to settle a lot of things with my son." Alpha Raven said, which made Stella look at Brandon. "Did you tell her, Remus?" Alpha Raven added, but Remus shook his head. "You can tell her, Alpha!" Remus answered, and Alpha Raven smiled at him.

"That's great, then I will tell the both of you what decision we made." Alpha Raven said, and Stella was listening to him attentively. "What is it, Dad?" Brandon asked his father and Alpha Raven patted his shoulder.
