Chapter 7 I hate you

Devon ignored her and turned to look at Victor " what do you think about the new girl?" He asked his friend

" Why would you ask my boyfriend what he thinks about another girl while am here?" penny snapped at Devon

Devon opened his mouth to say something but Victor quickly replied his question because he knew that Devon and Penny will start quarreling if he leaves them

" I don't know I saw you talking to her when class was going on so what's up with the both of you?" Victor asked and penny just huffed and fold her hands under her bosom.

" Nothing". Devon answered Victor's question

The four friends walked to the cafeteria and ordered their food, then walked to their favorite table in the middle of the cafeteria and sat down with only one empty seat left.

" What was that new boy telling you Zara?" Devon asked as they started eating

" Nothing important he was just introducing himself to me" Zara said

" Hey guys" A voice said close to their table and they stopped eating and looked up to see Elisabeth standing with her tray of food smiling widely.

The next second she dropped her tray on the table and sat down on the empty seat left.

" And who invited you here?" Penny asked rudely

" Devon, asked me to join him for lunch. I didn't know that he was going to be with his friends. I hope I am not disturbing you guys?". Elisabeth asked smiling sweetly as she sat down at the last vacant chair

" You are disturbing us, can't you see that .....?" Her words trailed off as Victor pinched her. She pout her lips at him

Penny still wanted to say something even though her boyfriend wanted her to keep quiet but she kept quiet when she saw an angry Ingrid marching towards them. Penny smiled and relaxed back on her seat and continue to eat " let the show begin"

" Bitch, what are you doing trying to sit on my chair again?" Ingrid have had enough of this nonsense she won't let this new girl steal her spot light she is the queen of this school and will remain the queen

" I'mm not seating on your chair" Elisabeth said innocently

"Just back off, he is my boyfriend!!"

" But your boyfriend was the one that invited me to have lunch with him". Elisabeth taunted..

Elisabeth knew an enemy when she saw one. She was aware of Ingrid glaring at her throughout the whole class but she was not bothered; she knew how to handle bitches and Ingrid was one.

Ingrid turned to Devon. " How could you? First it was Mrs Brown now it's you " she turned back to Elisabeth ." Now bitch i don't care who invited you all I know is that I want you to stand up now!!"

Zara's head was beginning to hurt with the shouting " can you guys pls stop talking here and find some other place as you can see some people are trying to eat"

" Shut it bitch, I was not talking to you" Ingrid snapped quickly

" She is correct you are really making noise slut" Elizabeth added salt to Ingrid's already exposed injury

" I asked you to get up, didn't I?"

Elisabeth remained seated like no one was talking to her and It made Ingrid explode. The last straw broke the camel's back.

Ingrid threw a resounding slap at Elisabeth's face causing everyone to gasp but not in surprise since they know how Ingrid was when faced with someone challenging her. She was merciless but what everyone was waiting for was what Elisabeth would do at this stage.

Devon, Zara, Penny and Victor was not exempted....

They looked like they were about to watch a live show......They were anticipating the next thing that would happen.

Will Elisabeth retaliate? Or will she run out shamefully to the toilet to cry?

After all, today was her first day in Franklin high school and she was already stirring up trouble and not only was she trying to snatch Ingrid's boyfriend, who was not only the school queen, Ingrid was known to be really ruthless when dealing with an enemy.

Now she has been slapped!!!

Elisabeth's face turned red from anger. How dare this stupid girl slap her? She would not take it lying down. She stood up and before anyone could say bingo she sent a tight slap to Ingrid's face and boom the two of them began to fight.

It was interesting from the beginning but now Zara finds it annoying that the noise has become too much for her with the way the other students were cheering and egging them on. The worst thing was that the person they were fighting for was smiling lazily as he watch them, amusement was dancing in his eyes.

Can't these girls reserve some respect for themselves? She can't imagine herself fighting for a man, especially one who is a womanizer!!

So stupid

With a huff she got up from her chair and left the cafeteria with her lunch tray. She knew that if she stayed for one more minute her head would blow off and she would have a headache when she got home.

Devon ran after her when he saw her leaving, ignoring the two fools who were fighting because of him.

Penelope and Victor stood up and left the table also when they saw that the fight was escalating and that any moment the principal will arrive they did not want to sit in detention room

" Honey wait up " Devon called after Zara as he chased after her but she ignored him and walked to the school garden and sat down with her lunch tray and began to eat.

Penny and Victor decided not to follow them instead they looked for a way and instead snuck out of school to go and have fun.

Devon got to where she was and sat down beside her.

What do you want?" Zara asked him

"Why did you leave? the show was so good"

" That is a very stupid question Devon, they were obviously fighting because of you and you did nothing to stop them. If you thought that the show was really good you should have stayed with them and not run after me!!" Zara snapped at him.

" But I did not ask them to fight" He had an innocent expression on his face

" Of course you did, by inviting the new girl to have lunch with us you did. You of all people know how Ingrid is"

" Just forget about them honey" he reached out his hand and tried to collect her pack of juice from her tray but she slapped his hand off. He smiled widely and reached for it again and this time he successfully took it and ran off

Zara saw red as she watched Devon run off with her pack of juice; she did not keep it till she was done eating for him to drink it. 'Stupid idiot' she curse him before dropping her tray and running after him

" Devon Franklin give me back my juice, I'm going to kill you when I get my hands on you!!" Zara yelled as she began to chase him around the garden

" I will be glad to die by your hands honey" Devon taunted

" I hate you arrrggghhh" she was frustrated

" I love you too honey"

After some minutes of chasing him round the garden even if she was tired she did not want to give up. She was sweating and breathing fast but she refused to give up but Devon saw how hard she was trying to keep up the chase so he took pity on her and let her catch him.
