Chapter 10 Not Happy

Who knew how long their kiss lasted...?

As soon as the man let go of her, she gave a sweet smile.

"Happy now?" It was both a question and an assertion.

She could feel his pleasure.

Even the corners of his pretty lips curved up.

Upon hearing that, the man abruptly let go of her and took two steps back. His face looked indifferent again, "Not happy! You should practice on your kissing. Such petty skills won't please me!"

Renee was petrified.

Zack turned around...

Recalling the sweet smile on Renee's face, he commented in his heart: that was a nice smile.

"By the way, you should smile more at me. You are ugly when you are not smiling! My mood is influenced!" Zack turned back, spoke sanctimoniously, and then strode to the study.

Renee was left there petrified.

After quite a while, she reached out to touch her numb lips and clenched her teeth angrily.

Zack was lying!

Visibly, he was happy!

Liar!

He did it on purpose.

Renee stomped her foot in a huff.

He wouldn't let her go.

Why would she make him happy?

She would not smile.

She would make him sick!

While Renee was in a trance, Butler Carson came up with several shopping bags in his hands.

"Carson." Renee beamed.

"Miss Toland, these are clothes Mr. Wright has prepared for you." Carson handed the bags to Renee.

"Thank you." Renee looked at Carson and found him gracious.

He might help her.

Or not.

She should have a try.

"Carson, could you let me go?" Renee's request was a bit abrupt.

She wanted to sound him out. Beating around the bush wouldn't define her stand.

... Carson smiled, "Miss Toland, Mr. Wright brought you back. Without his order, no one dares to let you go!"

He was speaking the truth!

Renee slightly bowed her head.

It appeared futile to turn to people in this villa for help.

She had to rely on herself.

Hanging her head in dejection, Renee went back to the bedroom.

She opened the bags in her hands.

Pervert!

Zack prepared five dresses for her, each of which was white.

Beyond that, even the underwear was all pure white.

He was addicted to the white color.

His mysophobia was insufferable!

She couldn't wear Zack's shirt and bathrobe all the time.

She had to put them on.

When Renee just planned to go out, she heard a familiar ringtone.

She searched around and finally found her haversack in a corner.

She fumbled out her cell phone but didn't want to answer it at the sight of the caller ID.

But the phone kept on ringing.

"Hello..." Renee answered it.

"Renee, you are so capable that you tried to seduce dad and even had him beaten up. Now he is still lying in the hospital. Come back and face my wrath!" Hayden Fanning snarled from the other end!

At the age of ten, Renee was adopted by Jack and served as a living toy for Hayden.

Ever since she entered the Fannings' door, Hayden had been bullying her. Renee had been scolded and beaten like a dog at her will.
