Chapter 6 Outing

"I am sure I corrected Ikiris about speaking in the dining hall yesterday" no matter the situation Malik would not see his wife disrespected, he knows Dami was annoyed about not going home but that doesn't give her the right to speak in such manner, his tone commanded respect which shocked Dami because her father hasn't spoken to her in such a tone before

"sorry uncle Malik" she apologised

Freda gave her a side glance and thought to herself 'does she know about her mom's absence already'.

Malik left for work and the children were already dressed to go out, since they were up to eight, Nema ordered the driver to prepare the Lamborghini, the driver brought their ride to the front door and everyone hopped in

"were would you like to go?" Nema asked openly

"the mall!" Jada was the first to respond

"the car arcade" Dami countered

"okay then, we will go to the mall first then finish off at the car arcade" Nema concludes

Ceda said in a low voice to Ikiris who sat beside him "where did you sleep last night?"

When he was done arranging the room he kind of felt guilty and waited for Ikiris to return but he did not see him till he slept off

"Why would you bother to know" Ikiris answered unenthusiastically besides it was because of him he was called a monster today, how on earth did his pretty looks look like a monster's own? this made Ceda roll his eyes

"what a baby, you are meant to sleep and wake up without grudges don't you know?" Ceda believes in that sleep it out rule, Ikiris chose not to reply cause if he did they might end up arguing again but Ceda who just wanted to hold a conversation still said

"what makes your sister like car racing?" He was curious because a girl liking car racing was surprising to him, "if you answer me I'll consider allowing you to sleep in my room tonight" he says proudly but this statement made Ikiris to laugh loudly attracting the attention of everyone in the car

Nema felt happy seeing him laugh 'he looked really handsome when he laughs and she had not seen him laugh since he came to their mansion' she thought to herself thankfully the two boys can still relate well without fighting all the time, everyone directed their gazes back to their various position before they had the laugh before Ikiris thought that this Ceda of a boy was really foolish and replied to Ceda

"I'll go home today anyway, you can sleep alone in your filthy room besides it's not as comfortable as mine for you to think it can serve as a bargaining chip" he felt happier seeing Ceda frown why on earth will he be bought with such a petty Statement? but Ceda never backs down from a fight

"my room is the dream of any sane boy, you calling it filthy just shows your jealousy, humph" he goes away to sit with Mara who sat with Freda "lets switch seats Freda" Ceda tells Freda who did not even pay attention to him, 'why should she switch seats because he wanted to?', seeing Freda did not want to agree he tried persuading Mara

"what about you Mara?" He was rewarded with a pout from Mara before she asked

"what will you give me for this favour?" Since she was going to sacrifice her comfortable seat she believed that there should be a reward

"I'll give you all my meat tonight" he replies gingerly because he knows Mara loves meat

"okay" she says cheerfully and leaves her seat for him.

Ceda sat down beside Freda making Freda to sigh loudly 'I hope he doesn't talk much this time' she thought to herself

When she reached beside Ikiris she stared at him weirdly before sitting down 'is there something on my face?' Ikiris thought to himself while trying to wipe his face with his hand.

Few minutes later they arrived at the city's grand mall, it was really huge and it belonged to them, a Lamborghini pulled up at the entrance and a bodyguard held open the door for Nema and the kids to come down, they walked into the mall with 5 bodyguards attracting the attention of people shopping making people murmur amongst themselves

On a normal day Nema did not like to walk around casually with the guards but what happened to Sasha made her become cautious especially since she is coming out with 7 children, she wants them to have fun so she paired them into two with one guard each carrying Bali with her and a guard, Mara went with Ikiris, Freda went with Jada and Dami was stuck with the noisy Ceda.

"You all will have to share your interests accordingly and have fun okay?" She instructed the children then directed the guards "make sure you keep a very close eye on them and call me immediately if something happens" she told them strictly because she cannot loose any of them.

"Good day Madam Yera" the staffs greeted her in chorus

"take me to the display room I was notified you brought in another diamond" she walked towards the elevator with the staffs following behind.

"What do you want to do?" Ikiris had to ask Mara because they were the only ones yet to move

"I don't know, what do you want to do?" She asked back, all the time she came to the mall she was always with daddy

"let's just watch a movie in the theatre section" he said walking towards the elevator

"that's not the way to the theatre "Mara said loudly to get his attention "it's that way" she says while pointing to the other side.

"I knew that" Ikiris said sheepishly to cover his embarrassment

They all did their various things, Ceda could not help but ask "do you love car racing?"

"If I didn't, would I have suggested to go to the arcade" Dami replied while rolling her eyes sometimes she wonders who is smarter in the quadri-

"why?" Ceda didn't mind her sarcasm

"what will you say if I asked you why you talk too much?" She doesn't understand why he just won't stop talking, with this reply Ceda decided to keep shut

'why are these Gowa siblings so bittersweet' he thought to himself.

Dami picked out the latest car collection from the car display shelf, she was a car collector and this will complete her collection till there was another design " so what do you want to do" she asked Ceda

Freda kept on looking at various outfits with Jada "I like this one, what do you think Freda?"

"It pretty"

"let's take two then" Jada likes to dress alike with Freda, Freda doesn't complain so she picks out their dresses for the days, after that they went for Freda's show at the theatre. Freda decided to watch a horror movie this time around, she always hears those kind of movies were thrilling and she wanted to see how Jada will act when watching it so with a mischievous smile she entered the theatre with Jada

"Freda, I don't think this show is for children" she says scarily

"it's going to be fun Jada don't worry, am herii if you are scar eddy" she replied while giggling but Jada did not find it funny so she closed her eyes a little and rested her back to hide away from the movie, Freda saw this action and found it really funny

After everyone came out they met each other at the front of the theatre it turned out that everyone watched the same movie but not everyone liked it Mara had her eyes wide open in fright , Ceda became speechless and also Dami too, he wanted to scare Dami but who knew he would also be scared? Ikiris formed brave although he was really scared.

Jada was in tears she wasn't happy with what Freda chose and she couldn't leave because mother said they had to go around together and since Freda accompanied her in hers she had to do the same

They then headed to the car arcade, there was a competition today and Dami was excited, she loved car racing so much sometimes she wonders why, during the race she noticed a familiar looking face in car 8 but washed the thought away because her mom and dad wasn't in the city anymore, car 8 won the race and they gifted her with a brand new sports car which had the colour light brown
