Chapter 3 Serenity

I was walking alone, alone is where I feel free. I hate this godforsaken place. I don't remember much about me and Sergo growing up and know nothing of our father. I'll ask mom one day when we're away from this place. Though things haven't been the same since she had the last heir of that bastard.

He always looked at us as his own until then, then I saw things change. That was the day mom gave birth to Judas. He'd gone through all kinds of psych.

I like it on my own because it gets me away from Jonathan and Judas. They are my brothers from hell. Sergo is my only true brother; he hates them as much as I do.

We've been in many fights with them over the years because of their cruelty towards us and our mother. That delusional prick had turned his own siblings against their mother and brother and sister and I hated him for it.

Mother should have left him years ago; he treated her like an omega, not a luna. Mother had never shown her true self to him ever. I can't blame her, his promises only turned into lies.

He doesn't love her, he controls her and her every move and fucks all the she wolf whores around her and he doesn't give a shit how he's hurting her and breaking her in two.

She's the strongest wolf I've ever met. Instead of giving in, she pulls herself through. I have yet to see our mother's wolf, but she has to be one strong ass bitch to put up with the shit that cock-sucking asshole puts her through.

Mathew is an arrogant twenty-five year-old betta to that prick. I chose not to say his name. He doesn't deserve his title.

"What the hell do you want, Mathew?"

"There's no need to talk in that tone, Serenity. You shouldn't disrespect your beta."

"News flash dumb ass. You're not my beta and never will be. So I'll talk to you any way I please."

He grabbed my neck in a choke hold, pinning me against the tree. I grabbed his hands in mine, trying to open them.

His eyes darkened. "You'll respect me omega or you'll suffer the consequences. "

"I'm not a fucking omega prick. I'm above you and always will be."

"Your mother should never have come here, omega, she doesn't belong here!"

"I agree."

He looked at me stumped, as if to say 'you are agreeing with me. Why?'

"We don't belong here because we are better than you. You are beneath us. You and this pack are not worthy of our presence in your company." My wolf said, snarling at him.

"Take that back, little wolf."

"Never!"

"You're going to regret you ever disrespected me, my little mate."

There is no way he is my mate, no way in hell he's a vulgar excuse of a man.

He leaned forward. Sniffing me. "You smell so sweet little mate, but your sweetness won't last long once I'm done with you. You'll be on your knees begging me for forgiveness."

"Never!"

"We shall see little mate." He licked my neck and kissed it where one day I was to be marked by my mate. If I ever decided to have one, after what I had seen what my mother had to go through, I have vowed never to let any guy near me, whether he was my mate or not. I was not ending up like my mother; hurt and betrayed.

His hands made their way over my body, sickening me. I had to think and act quickly to stop this from going any further. My knee went up and connected with his crown jewels he let go of my neck. I dropped to the ground after him and bolted. "You little bitch, you're going to pay for that gravely."

He ran after me. I could hear the ground crunching under him as he caught up to me, grabbing me, flipping me on to the ground, hovering over me, his eyes dark in mine grabbing tightly onto my wrists. "You're going to pay for that my little mate and you'll never forget who you belong to again!"

There he goes with the mate shit again. I don't fucking think so. My eyes glowed a purple blue and I threw him over the top of me and he ended up on the ground.

The snapping of his back bone told me I'd done some serious damage. I leaped to my feet looking at him, unaware my eyes were still glowing. I took off, heading to the only place I could have peace. The lake and its waterfall.
