Chapter 4 My two promises

Sarah pov

I was so scared when I saw my grandpa condition. He was so sweating and he was having so difficulty in breathing. Just for one sec I thought, I might loose him.

Oh no!! Please I don't want this thought again in my mind.

I look at my grandpa, he is only person I have. What would I do without him . I can't live without him.

When I was small he gave me the strength to live without mom and dad, he always kept my wishes first. I love my grandpa.

Sarah - Who was this man?

Grandpa was silent for some time then after a breath he gave a faint smile and told Sarah

Grandpa - No one dear , he was a customer , he bought something and got a defective piece that's why he was here.

Sarah was not satisfied with the answer.

The man was seem bit off and she thought that grandpa was keeping something from her.

Before Sarah could say further, grandpa stand up from sofa and gave her a smile and asked about her function.

Sarah was so concerned that she forgot to show her trophy, where grandpa asked him again

She showed him her trophy.

Grandpa looked at her . He was so happy, his smile was so powerful that Even a tubelight look dull infront of him.

Grandpa - oh my dear! I am so happy. You earned this one with your utter hardwork. Your hardwork paid off.

Sarah cheerfully - Yes grandpa and now you have to fulfill two promises , you told me if I earned the first rank then you will let me take care of you . Now I ll find a job and you will rest at home.

Grandpa was looking at her at awe. She is such a pure child . She only thought of others . He was amazed that his little bundle has grown up and became so responsible.

Grandpa - we will see Sarah!

Sarah -No grandpa! You promised and I will not

listen a no.

Sarah was admant and to keep the matter close for some time he nodded her a yes.

Sarah gave a happy hug to him

Grandpa - and what's your second promise

Sarah acted like she was thinking seriously and said

" Hot chocolate coffee"

Both of them laughed loudly.

Sarah went to her room for Change and his grandpa came near the window.

He thought about the man. He was frightened not for himself but for Sarah.

She doesn't know in which situation they were and he was scared if the situation worsen how he will protect Sarah!!
