Chapter 4 Who Is Behind Caro

"Hey, I'm back". Aria pushed the door open, carrying a tray of food with her.

"What's with your face? Who put you in a bad mood?" Aria asked.

Nelson immediately controlled his anger and his face brightened up looking at her. "By the way Mister I need my phone." Aria held out her hands.

"I am sorry".He apologized although he had no regret.

"Why are you sorry?"

"Because I threw your phone away." He said.

"What? Did you just say you threw my phone out of the window. Nelson nodded.

"Why would you do that? Now my phone is gone." Aria cried.

​"My hand slipped,he lied." How could he say he got jealous of a person he didn't even know.

" What the heck!!Aria yelled.

"Look. I apologise. I will get you a new phone."

"I had important contacts, files and photograph in the phone."

" I will get the data restored, alright. Now calm down."

" Thanks, but I don't need your help."

The door open and a bodyguard walked in with a cleaner.

"I will take my leave,if I stay here any longer, I might go insane." Aria said

"Boss." The guard called.

"Get out." Nelson said.

" But Dr Aria..."

"I said get out."

The guard ran away trembling. Nelson took the bowl of soup and started drinking while thinking about Aria's angry face.

"Ugh. I can't believe this guy." Aria huffed.

She was very furious with Nelson. Aria walked towards her office, she dialed Danny's number from the hospital telephone.

"Hello?"

"Danny, It's Aria."

"Hey Ari, why are you calling from the hospital telephone? What happened to your phone." Danny asked.

" Some idiot broke it." Aria hissed.

" Oh, is that so? I had called you sometime before. It got connected but I didn't hear anything from your side." Danny said.

"When did you call?" Aria asked confused.

" I guess during lunch time."

"Oh, I didn't have my phone that time."

" Let's have dinner together, I'll tell you everything when we met."

" Sure what time will you come pick me up?"

"7 pm, is that fine with you?"

"Yes. Great see you later."

" See ya." Davis ended the call.

'What's wrong with me? Why I'm I behaving strangely? Is it possible that I have fallen for her? No way.' Different thought kept coming to Nelson mind.

" I miss Aria company." He said.

"Where is Aria? I haven't seen her since afternoon." Nelson asked looking at Davis.

"She was checking on her patient when I was coming here. She must have left now, it's past 6." Davis looked at his watch.

"Dr Davis,may I talk to you for a second?" Aria asked from outside the door.

Nelson face lit up on hearing Aria voice. "Hey come in. Why are you standing outside?"

"Dr Davis, I will be leaving for my vacation in the next two days,I want to go with the hospital team who are still vacating." Aria said.

"Yes. I remember about it." Davis said.

"Can you handle my patient for me? " Aria said.

"Sure Aria ." Davis gave her a smile.

Nelson was observing her from his bed. He was Bewitched by the way her eyes shone when she spoke. And she looked very adorable when she plead with those puppy eyes.

His gaze traveled from her eyes to her lips.Her pink lips made him want to grab her and kiss her passionately.

'What am I thinking? Do I like her? But I don't know anything about her?' He was confused about his behavior.

"Thanks, Davis. I'll get going." Aria said.

"Wait. Do you want to have dinner with us?" Nelson smiled, thanking Davis in his mind for his suggestion.

"Sorry Davis. I am meeting a friend at 7."Nelson recalled the phone call he had picked a few hours Back.Danny had invited her to have dinner.

'Was she going out with him or somebody else? Is it a date?' Imagining Aria with another man, made his blood boil.

"Bye Davis." Davis nodded and turn to look at the fuming Nelson behind him.

"Do you know who Dan is?" Nelson asked.

"No. I don't know him." Davis said.

"Does she have a boyfriend?" He asked again.

"Nor that I am aware of. Have you taken an interest in her?" Davis asked.

"Maybe." Nelson answered.

Aria was waiting for Dan outside the hospital. A black car stopped in front of her and the window rolled down.

Danny was sitting in the driver's seat."Get in".

She entered the car and sat beside him."So what did you want to talk about?" She asked smiling.

"Not here. Let's talk while we are eating. I have texted Gina too." Dante said.

" Gina's back? She didn't give me a call. When did she come back?" She asked surprised.

"I think she came back today afternoon. And miss brainless, if I remember correctly, your phone got damaged, so how would you get a call?" Dante said.

" I am not brainless. I just forgot about it." Aria said.

Soon they arrived at the restaurant, they were about stepping inside, when a roaring motorbike arrived, gaining everyone's attention.

" Here comes the attention seeker". She glared at Dante making him shut up.

Gina parked her bike and walked towards them.

" Hey, Ari, Hey Danny boy". Gina hugged Aria.

" Let's go." Dante prompted ingoring Gina's greetings.

" Yes. Let's go. Danny boy, I am going to empty your wallet today." Gina teased, Aria sigh at their childishness.

"Dante, what did you want to talk about? You said it's about my sister. Aria started the conversation.

" You called us here to talk about Aria's sister?" Gina repeated Aria's question.

Aria's sister was a journalist, she was very honest and did not hesitate to reveal the truth to the public.

Everything was going well, until two years ago, Aria's sister went missing and her mom died of heart attack.

" Yes my men found out that she was on a dangerous mission before she went missing. " Dante said.

"Danny do you know something ?" Gina asked."

" I am not sure either. However, I have been informed that your sister's teammates were murdered." Dante said.

" And what about my sister? Aria asked, thinking about the worst possible outcome.

" she is alive. Because she holds important information." Dante replied.

" They are holding her captive." Gina said.
