Stella

I was moved by what I witnessed and couldn't stop crying. Jaxon abruptly lowered the cake off the small table and walked up to me when I noticed he was perplexed.

He asked, concerned, "Stella, why are you crying? Did anything bad happen?," and I shook my head and sniffled before responding.

I cried in response, and he hugged me and caressed my back to calm me down. "This is the first time that someone surprised me on my birthday, and you're the first man who did this to me, so I went emotional."
