Chapter 6 Rita seemed desperate

Jessica and Lucy argued with the bodyguards outside "The Wilson's mansion" It seems they've been ordered not to allow them inside.

Jessica brought out her phone and immediately called Anna on a video call.

"Annabelle, your guards won't let us in, it seems we've been restricted from entering the mansion. Could you give us an explanation?" Jessica said angrily on phone. Mrs. Wilson grounded Anna from the day she left the house for the club. Finding out Lucy and Jessica took Anna there, she decided to restrain them from seeing or talking to Anna.

Annabelle seemed to be calm on the video call, but deep inside her. She wanted to cry and say "I'm not fine. I want to be away from this sick place." But then she spoke calmly "Oh that? I'm grounded for now."

"Grounded? why?" Lucy asked. Surprised.

"Can you not guess?" Jessica said. Implying about the incident in the club. Anna's parents might have found out about it.

Both girls exchanged looks. Staring at each other, then at Anna on the video call.

"I'm deeply sorry about this, I've been warned not to see you, girls, again." Anna apologized sincerely. She was pained to see her friends treated like animals.

An elegantly dressed lady holding a Louis Vuitton traveling bag catwalks in the lobby of the airport amidst many people. Few people recognized her as an actress and crowded her for selfies and autographs.

"take me to the finest hotel." her pretty voice spoke.

"You've done well, I don't want those girls around you." Mrs. Wilson spoke. She was in the room throughout the phone call and she heated everything. The whole conversation.

Anna frowned and spoke, "mother, Was this necessary?"

"Your dad and I discussed, that you're moving in with your fiance."

"Ok," Anna replied, that she didn't want her mum to push through with her threat towards her both friends, at this moment she would do anything.

Jason flipped the screen of his phone with his finger, A Facebook notification attracted him.

'Rita parker posted a new update'

he tapped on the notification. Rita posted a picture of her arriving at the airport. Rita arrived in the city in the early hours of the day.

It seems she was here to pursue Jason, She was his closest friend since ten years ago in the country he went to study. There were rumors about both of them being in a relationship back then when he did a photoshoot with her for a magazine cover. It was one of the reasons she became famous in the movie industry.

Jason sent a text WhatsApp to his Assistant, David. 'Investigate which hotel Rita Parker lodged in and why she was in the city."

Immediately the text signed with two blue ticks was viewed. And immediately replied.

A strange number appears to be calling Jessica's phone, she's not a person who picks up up up Strange calls, so she ignored them.

the caller was so persistent he even sent a text, Jessica didn't read it yet.

she then tied a towel and applied her face mask.

She picked up the phone to finally check the text.

"uh," She gasped.

it was camil Brown.

immediately she dialed the number. it displaysbusybbbusy coming call from the same number and she picked up immediately.

"Hello." his bold voice spoke from the other side of the phone.

"Hello, sorry I don't pick strange calls, Camil Brown?" She said, nervously.

"Yes, how are you.?"

"I'm fine."

"I don't know how your schedule is, I'll like to invite you for dinner during the weekend."

"Weekend?"

"yes, are you chanced to go out?"

"Yes, yes I am, weekend is fine by me,"

"Ok, please save my number."

"Sure, I will."

"How did he get my number? she thought."

The maid washed Annabelle's body inside the warm milky bath.

Annabelle closed her eyes. she was daydreaming. In the dream, she wore a long wedding gown, and it was time to say her vows the wedding got interrupted. A familiar man held her hand and took her away from the altar. "who are you?." She asked the personadmitmist the chaos. The man stopped running and faces her. It was Ken.

Annabelle gasped for air, "Young miss, young miss are you alright?" The maids asked her.

Anna regained consciousness, "i..I'm fine." she stuttered.

The maid helped her dry her body.

she saw the red gown on the bed, it seems she was being prepared to be sent away. Her parent was marrying her to a total stranger.

Mrs. Stuart organized guards and a maid to pick Annabelle up from the Wilson mansion.

luxurious cars were packed in unison, and lots of luggage and gifts were prepared for Anna.

Jason entered the elevator, he was heading to the presidential suite to see Rita. He knew she deliberately made that post to attract him.

Jason already knew which suite Rita was in, he opened the door, and it wasn't locked. it seems she was expecting him already.

Jason sniffed the fragrance of cologne in the room.

Rita walked from the bathroom in lingerie.

"Are you going to stand there all day? come sit down."

She picked up a mug cup from the table and stir the tea.

"I was expecting you." She said, after a brief silence.

"What are you doing here?" Henry asked, his face showing no emotion at that moment.

*Don't I have the right to visit any country I wish to?" She spoke innocently as if she didn't have ulterior motives.

"You saw the marriage post on the news, right?"

she wondered what was going through Jason's head. He didn't show any remorse or pity for her. He knew about her feelings for him. She seemed to ignore what he just said.

"I came to see you, you weren't picking up my calls."

Henry looked at her, someone can't travel to another country to visit a friend who wasn't picking up her calls. Rita looked desperate at that moment.

Annabelle looked like a British princess, the hairdo and the dress matched perfectly. She sits in the limousine. At that moment she swore to make her parents regret their decisions.

A message was sent out to "The Stuart's" Anna was on her way to Jason's mansion.
