Chapter 4 DATE GONE WRONG

Having taken my bath, I sat down on the bed deliberating on which cloth to wear..

It was around 5:30pm.. I finally decided to wear a show cleavage red gown with a thigh slit. I put on makeup to match the dress, wore gold heels and picked up my bag.

For my hair, I quickly brought out my black bone straight wig, combed it and put it on..

I wanted to make the best impression on this second date..

Checking my time, I realized that it was 6:20pm I quickly hurried out and entered an Uber. I gave him the address Edward sent to me and in no time, I got there..

My nerves were getting the most of me, so I calmed my self before pressing the doorbell..

"Hey, u are looking beautiful" I hear Edward say..

" You also look handsome" I blushed a little as I said it..

"Come in, and welcome to my house"

" It looks nice" I complimented

"Make yourself comfortable, am almost done"

"No problem" I say

In less than no minute, we were on the dining table eating,

Woww!! His food is sweet no doubt

" Nice food" I say breaking the silence

" Thanks " I heard him say

"Soo..tell me why you wanted to be an interior decorator; was it ur passion or were you forced" he asked

" Well, I have loved decorating ever since I was little so I studied it to make my dream come through and look, well am fulfilled"

"Wow..well for my case I loved art but my dad said I should take over his business, which am currently doing"

"Ohh..am really sorry; why don't you still go for arts, if u really like it"

" My dad will kill me"

I laughed...

"Honestly, I mean it" he still replied..

" Ohh well a man gotta please his father right"

"You know na"

Let's make a toast

"Cheers to new beginnings" he said

"To new life" I said

"To us" he said

So there is an us

With that we finished eating and went to the living room to watch a movie..

We sat down on the couch put on the TV and started watching..

Without knowing, Edward drew me in for a kiss..I gave in and we kissed passionately..

Before I knew it, he started kissing my neck and started touching my lap due to the slitted cloth I wore..

I wanted to oblige but I resisted him because I was very principled about sex. I vowed to have sex after marriage..

" What is it baby, you ruined the fun" Edward said

"Am sorry but I have to go"

With that, I ran off leaving Edward in the mood🤭
