"Long time no see, Ysabelle"Altraun said while sipping on her tea. Nandito kami sa kanyang office, katatapos lang namin kumain at agad na niya akong pinatawag.

"Altraun... Altraun, we've see each other the last time"

"Pardon me"she said and we both laugh. The destiny made us see each other always, lalo pa't malapit lang ako sa bahay ng mahal niya.

"Any progress to him?"I said then sip on my juice.

"Yeah, school competition next month, and... He will be there"

"That's nice"

"And I need you to join"she abruptly said.

"Altraun!"

"What?"she said na halatang nakangiti kaya pilit tinatago sa kanyang hawak na cup.

"I don't want that"

"Daughters of Murfette is oblige to join the competition, many of them as they can"

I nod then sit up. It's early but I want to lay on my bed. Unfortunately, I bump on a hard wall when I tried to walk. Weird it is to have a wall infront of me.

I heard Altraun giggled. I understand, she knows that there is someone coming to my place and she let whoever it is bump to me.

"I'm sorry"I said with no hint of emotion and still facing the chest.

"So you're one of the daughters of Murfette"he whisper to me.

His voice is husky lalo pat nasa tenga ko siya nagsalita.

I don't let the panic spread to my outside physic. I also stop my hand to pulled the knife on my pocket.

"I don't know what you're talking about"I'm still facing the ground. I don't wanna see his eyes kase alam kong ang lapit lapit niya dahil amoy ko ang hininga niya na tumatama sa ilong ko. I also noticed that he's crouching a little.

"Having an connection to one of the highest house, you must be important. But based on my source, you're not that important"

"I don't see anything special to you, maybe... Just maybe"

I rolled my eyes to Altraun and luckily she saw it.

"Cleevan, stop questioning my new member. That's so rude"

"Altraun, make sure you knew who you're letting come to your house"

I smirked. Better know who you're talking to. But before I could proceed to my leave.

"Oh, ba't nandito ka. Ikaw ah!, Altraun, baka naman kilala mo talaga si Miss kaya hinayaan mo na mapunta sa house mo"singit ng isang boses na mula sa pinto. I didn't even notice their arrival.

"You can go now, Ysabelle. Be ready for the competition"I nodded to Altraun first then left them there.

Such a hassle.

I wiped the imaginary sweat on my forehead.

"Hey, you fine"I stiffened when someone tap my shoulder.

I tilted my head when I saw who tapped my shoulder, hindi ko siya kilala but he's familiar.

"You're blocking the way, excuse me"he said then enter the door.

I rolled my eyes.

I almost jump on my feet when someone tap my shoulder again.

How many times people will tap my shoulder.

This time it's Jeremy and he look's like laughing at me.

"Nakaharang ka na naman sa daan"

Napangiti na lang ako ng alanganin sa kanya. We're not that close for me to chit chat with him but I felt comfortable with him.

Nanliit ang mata ko nang maalala na hindi ko man lang siya nakita nung ibibigay na ang aming ties.

"Where have you been?"

"Busy"he plainly said.

Scenarios and possible answers to me are running to my mind. But... Nevermind.

I accept his answer and passed him. I clearly saw his smirked when I passed by.

Him meeting the higher up seems intriguing but that's not my business anymore.

I headed straight to my room. I inspect it for the fifth time.

I have my trust on Altraun but not on the other student.

I need to be cautious. I installed everything that I needed. Cameras that are advanced than any cameras.

I type some walls and virus to whoever wants to hack it. If they lucky to find it.

I deleted everything and off my laptop.

I changed my clothes to the pajama that the school provided.

I'll head off to the cafeteria because I'm hungry. It'll be a long day.

The cafeteria is big like the hall where the announcement is held maybe bigger than the hall.

When you entered, tables and chairs are in the center. There are also tables na nakadikit sa pader and high chairs.

Isang mahaba ang counter kung saan nakaplace ang mga pagkain na pwedeng kainin. The food is free and it is based on your rank what quality of food you can get.

Pwede ka ring magpaluto ng gusto mo.

I headed straight at the counter. May mga waiter pero ako na ang lumapit para kumuha ng pagkain ko.

"One slice of pizza, spaghetti, and iced tea"I said to the girl at the counter. She's wearing clothes like mine, the difference is the ties, it is colored pink

When I receive my food, I placed it on the table on the side and sit on the high chair.

I'm observing everyone. Some are loudly chatting, some are not.

I see some students tripping others. Yellow and Blue ties are tripping the Gray and Red students.

The school is not that extraordinary, it's still a normal school with a bully students.

The Gray and Red are not minding them but they won't stop blabbering nonsense.

"Losers"the one wearing the yellow tie and have a spike hair.

"Mataas lang naman kayo ng isang house sa amin, ang you don't deserve that title. Our house is the deserving"said the one having blue ties and has a piercing on his nose.

"Right, so be careful to what you're doing, we're watching you. Anu pa't naging anak ako ni Murfette"she laughed loudly. She's wearing a Blue tie.

That catches my attention. Is she really a daughter or she's just assuming things.

Their banters continue. The Gray answers them. But the Red ones didn't talk.

I noticed the students are coming to their place.

Parami na ng parami ang estudyante sa loob ng cafeteria.

A stretch is heard when the double door opened.

Two students wearing gray ties opened it and revealed the ten captains.

Everyone stop then eyed the ten captains whose now seriously looking at every students.

Seconds passed and no one is moving until I saw the Captain of Gray, Gravin, almost shaking his whole body.

Lahat ay napatingin sa kanya.

"Laugh it out"sabi naman ng Captain ng Orange, Kate.

Pagkatapos na pagkatapos sabihin iyon ni Kate. Tanging ang tawa lang ni Gravin ang maririnig sa buong cafeteria.

He's kneeling to the floor and holding his tummy."Hooo, hooo hahaha. Okay... Inhale, exhale, hoo"then he finally stood up.

Kelangan ko nang kumain at hindi sila pansinin.

Bago ko pa man mailipat ang tingin ko sa pagkain ko.

A sound covered the whole cafeteria, not from the laughter but from the speaker. It sounds like a dial tone.

"Hello"a robotic voice speaks and everyone is listening to it. I finally eat my food and not mind what is happening to the cafeteria but I'm still listening to that voice.

"I have an announcement to make, it's kinda important. So please everyone stay where you are and listen"

Everyone oblige to the voice, no one move to their place. I'm the only whose eating here. And I make sure that they will not hear it.

"First of all, this is a favor done by the Captains. We've never met but I hear you, so I'm giving you something. Don't worry the President approve of it"

My spaghetti is almost finished.

"The announcement first. I encourage everyone especially my daughter's to participate in the upcoming battle. Maybe you can impress me there"and then his or her laughed echoed to the whole room. It's sound creepy because it is a robot voice. I can't say if it is a boy or a girl.

"I bet y'all have an idea on who I am. And that is right, I am Murfette"he clapped while saying his name but no one clap with him.

"Oww, you're making me sad. But anyway. Hi Captains, I bet you're thinking on who I am. Specifically, On who is not in the cafeteria today. But sorry not sorry. You can't figure me out that easily"

No one's moving to their place so anyone will think that whoever talking right now is not here. But indirectly the person behind the voice said that he or she is with us.

"How can we prove that you're not recorded?"said by someone in the crowd.

"Oww, you're doubting me. You think little of me. Mr. Florin Senyuin of the house Violet"

"Proceed with the surprise"one of the captain suddenly said. The Captain of Yellow, Ervin.

"Dear, backstabbing is not good. You can say it infront of me. Luckily I have ears everywhere so be careful to whatever you say"

"Proceed"the Captain of Black said, Kort which is the one I met at outside of Altraun's office.

"This is not new to you but I make it more exciting"he said then the whole room is slowly having a black screen.

Napatingin ako sa pagkain kong hindi ko na natapos kainin.

The screen has holes and have a gun that has arrows, katulad nang sa laruan ng mga bata ung didikit kapag binaril sa iyo.

"This is a game of playing safe"he said then a portion of the screen opened sized like a box.

"You can get one each. That is the target of the arrow, you can put it anywhere in your body that is visible in the eyes. And make sure you can keep it safe until the end."he stop then laugh.

"Maybe you're all thinking that making sure the target is safe is the only thing you'll do, wait, wait, wait. Here's the twist. You need to be careful because some of the arrows contains a sedative or a poison but don't worry hindi niyo ikakamatay yan hahaha. Maybe rest in bed for lets say... 5 days. So be careful everyone"after he said that a dial tone came again.

A countdown flash in the black screen with some words.

The most teams that has the most number of students safe 'til the end has a reward. Fighting.

The 10 seconds countdown start and everyone panicked especially the new ones.

Nakaka excite rin pala ang bawat araw dito.

I can enjoy it while finding Murfette. If I just bring my laptop here. I can trace the voice or even find him, unfortunately I left it.

I continue eating but stop when an arrow almost hit my ear, near on my cheek where I place the target.

The arrow is not from the gun on the holes but from someone.

Dun ko lang napansin na nagkakagulo na sa buong cafeteria.
