Chapter 4 - I WILL BE BY YOUR SIDE

"I don't have time to think, just like you said Ash I'm gonna be with her till the end, not only

because you said so, it is because that's exactly what I want as well" Peter talked faceing to the grave

stone and he started to run towards Rae but she was no where to be found.

He searched the garden nearby which made him remeber the old days when they used to

cherish the garden in their Cathedral. Small fragments of memory appeared in his mind.

Beautiful flowers, children's running together holding eachother's hands, laughter..... He came

back to reality and went to other spots where he thought he might find her; even after

searching alot of places all those attempts went futile.

"where are you Rae" he started his car and drove to various places, it was a rush drive. He was

perspirating because of anxiety but it wasn't much compared to what they had to deal with in the past.

[Peter's POV]

"I don't regret it at all; it might be too late if I have waited too long" he thought to himself,

he was saying excuses to himself because he knew it isn't his decision to make her feel whatever

she wants but it was getting out of hands, what if she never recovers from these miseries, that's

what he thought before dragging her from the room filled darkness to her late soulmates grave.

Ironic isn't it this fate never goes away from us, it flies above our head. What have we done,

what haveshe done to suffer all this. Will our fight against our fate never ends.

I have to find her, in this state I can't leave her alone, I can't let her drown in darkness, I can't let

her run away from the peace she deserves. May be it's selfish, but I want her to live peacefully. I

want this suffering to end. I'll be the optimistic stupid potpot for her, for my entire life. I just

want to see the light in her face.

I'll be by your side always, whatever happens.

[End of POV]

'marimba sound in the background' (Peter's phone rings)

Other side of the phone "hey...um...Peter...Isn't this Peter?" a young lady is at the other side,

sounds like she have to inform something

"Yes, I'm in a hurry now; can you call later?" ( Peter )

"It's about Raecel lynx" lady from the other side said. There was a momentary silent or pause inbetween the call as the lady was waiting for a response.

"What about her...wait....is this from hospital?" Peter asked in a tensed tone as he stammered

along.

"no no no! it's from Chillclub"

"chillclub?" Peter asked in a confused tone

"oh yes! Raechel is here, she's not in a condidtion to let her go alone, can you come and pick

her up?" lady from the other side said.

"who is this calling? Isn't Farlan there?" Peter asked

"I'm Fana, Farlan's sister. Brother is not available now. He's out for some purchases" Fana said

"okay Fana thankyou for informing, I'll come there in 10 minutes" Peter replied fast and

disconnected the call. He pulled the car backwards and turned a you and drove fast to Chillclub.

It's a cafe with Bar facilities located 2-3 kilometers away from the Graveyard.

"did she ran all the way to Chillclub, talk about the stamina" Peter said to himself. His tone

reflects an inch of relief in it.

After few minutes he reached the destination, he pulled car to a corner of the parking area.

He dashed out of the car towards the Cafe. Cafe has a cozy outlook, it was busy afternoon as

well, it's filled with customers. Peter moved towards the main counter and asked for Fana, there

were two other people one Barista and a service boy. After few seconds a young, slightly ginger

20-22 year looking girl walked in a hurry towards him.

"hey, I'm Fana. I'm the one who called you"

"Hello Fana, I've seen you here before but I did'nt know you were Farlan's sister. Um.... where's

Rae?"

"oh she's inside our room [staff's resting room], can you come in"

"Yea, what happened actually?" Peter asked Fana

"she came here and took the usual sea you guys always takes, ordered some shots and started

to blabber things, that led to a tantrum after few minutes. Your name was also in it. She was

really sober and I must say she's really alchoholic intolerent haha"

"Sorry for the trouble Fana"

"you don't have to say sorry...I have been watching you guys for a long time and I admired your relation...I know what you guys are going through. I guess you don't knoe Peter but Raechel

helped me to come out of my shell full of insecurities . I know about Aslan, whenever Raechel

needs a handyou can count on me"

"Thankyou for all your help"

"don't need to thank me Peter..I owe her, actually I owe them both" Fana said and lead to them

to the room.

There Rae was sleeping like a new born lamb in a couch. He sat near her.

"I'll get you a drink" Fana said

"I'll appreciate that"

Fana left the room.

"what would I do with you Rae, well what would I do without you? I guess we'll never know"he

took her hand and hold it tight.

"I'll never leave by your side, never. Even if you loath me or keep yourself away from me or lock

yourself in that room again, I'll keep coming to you . I'll never leave your side, ever again." he

said.

Rae was deep in sleep without hearing anything. Suddenly she lost balace and fell lightly

towards his shoulder and he said,

"I've got you"
