Chapter 8 I DON'T KNOW

"I have a crush on Mico..." His voice went light and light each word she said.

"What ?!" Asbelle asked in shock ...

"Really?!" Hannah ...

"Seriously ?!" and me.

We all have different monologues and the same reactions that have only one reason, it's because of the shock when she admits she had a crush on Mico! The people were already looking at us because of the loudness of our shouting, so the four of us looked at each other and fell silent in embarrassment.

Gosh! It never entered on my mind that Kate was this so fragile. Even though I was teasing them that they might end up liking each other because of them fooling around, it never entered my mind that it would come true. Dzuh? Mico doesn't fit on her taste, she likes intimidating, masculine, like that, not like Mico who is playful and likes to block people. She hates the most is a someone who's on her same BARANGAY.

"Hey! Just like what I've said! Your reactions! Too OA! I said it's just a crush. I just HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM BEFORE, you guys didn't let me finish first." She stomps in embarrassment. She looks like a fool explaining the funny thing she did.

"Ahy weh? But, when was it?" tanong ni Hannah.

"Just... in August, then it disappeared again in... this October," she repeatedly nodded. She looked at the emptiness and suddenly grinned.

Bwahg! I knew what she was thinking. She also laughing at herself because of the fact that she liked Mico. I know these two are laughing too but they just don't make it obvious. Hmmm...

"Ows? Are you sure?" Hannah asked again, while Ashbelle and I just smiled.

"Of course, and he already has Lara..." She turned her gaze to me while raising her eyebrows.

"Huh? Why... Why did the topic change to me!?" Suddenly I lost myself. This bitch really!

"Huh? Hasn't he admitted to you yet?" she asked and I just stared at her. She smiled and covered her mouth. "Ops! My bad then, I preceded Mico."

"Well... he confessed to me last night," I admit. I'm planning to tell this to them too, but Kate preceded me too, tsk!

"Ah, oh well see, stop acting innocent then. He told us about that last night too. Right, Ashbelle?"

"You know about that too?!" Hannah immediately turned to Ashbelle.

"Yes, the three of us have a group chat," she replied with a shrug..

"Ah... why did you make a gc if there are only three of you, you should have included me as well," she said and rolled her eyes. My short friend seemed jealous again so I put my arm around her shoulder and smiled.

"I've planned to admit to him last night, I mean, I'd like to say that I have had a crush on him before but he got ahead of me. Did you notice that Ashbelle? I suddenly become a seener, right? I become speechless, I can't talk. Hahahaha!"

"Alla..." I didn't know how to feel. I couldn't find a word and the both looked the same.

"Hahahaha! Bitch, you don't have to react like that. I'm fine, ok?! It's just before. Besides, Iw!" Her reaction could not be painted. "I don't even know why I had a crush on Mico before, eh. Like dzuh? What the hell!"

I smiled. I knew it. She feels disgusted. That's the feeling of being able to fall in love with your playful friend who's on your same barangay.

Well, Mico is fine tho. Many people like him so much so I can't blame Kate, especially since they are always together.

"Eh, how about you, Lara? How's your feeling?" Hannah suddenly asked.

I stared at him before looking at nothingness. "I don't know. I don't know. I just don't know."

"Wow, what a nice answer, why did you become so smart if you can't even answer that?"

My forehead frowned at what she said. What's the connection?

"She's stupid in love, remember?"

I stared at Kate, how could this bitch have the audacity to say that.

"Ah, yeah, I forgot," Ashbelle answered.

"Hey! You guys are too mean to me! I really didn't know how I would feel, and you have to really treat me like this." I said, sulking and they just laughed at that.

"But, you have to admit to Mico, Kate," Ashbelle's voice suddenly became serious so our attention went to her.

"Me?! No way! I don't have to!" She shook his head several times and even ex her hand.

"Nge, it's like somehow, he'll know."

"Eh, what's the big deal if he finds out?"

"Yeah, so what if he found out? You just liked him before, didn't you? That was just back then," she reasoned.

"Exactly! That was just before, so what's the point of saying it?"

"You're overreacting again, just tell him." She let go of me and went to Kate to shake her shoulder which we just laughed at.

"No no no no." She shook her head and pouted. When Ashbelle stopped shaking her she sighed. "We might got feel awkward."

Well somehow... it's true, they might feel uncomfortable with each other. That's difficult.

"No it will never happen, just trust me," Ashbelle is still trying to get her favor on Kate. While Hannah and I were just listening.

"Trust me, your face," Kate said wearily. "You have the courage to say that because you don't have any experience in this yet. What a pity, your beauty is just a waste, no one's flirting with you. What now? Try and flirt with someone, bitch. Try to make a move if you don't want to be single forever." We laughed at what she said. Here she is, her mouth isn't holding back again.

"Hey! At least I am a gud gerl," Ashbelle replied while flipping her hair. Before looking at our side. "Unlike the other one there, she's hiding something from her parents, it would be good thing if the boy was sweet towards her but nah! he's cold. I wonder when she is gonna become ice? It's a good thing that the other one already graduated, she finally realized now her worth, while the other one still go and go."

"Oh?! Why did the topic go to me?!" Hannah said, frowning.

"Shh... let's just go and buy some kikiam (a street food called tempura)." I said to stop them when we were in front of the store. Gladly they stopped talking while we were waiting for what we bought to finally cook.

"Pft! Hahahahaha!" I suddenly laughed while eating kikiam.

"Hey! You're becoming crazy, why are you laughing?" Ashbelle asked.

"Nothing, I just can't help but to laugh. Love triangle, really?" I replied and gave Kate a silly look.

"Love triangle? Dzuh?! Iw! As what I said, it's just before, ok? Gosh! I've already moved on," she said while removing nothing on her clothes.

"I just can't believe it. Hahahaha! Why did you liked him? Didn't you like those straight guys? Why did he like me? Eh, isn't his type is those guys too?" I asked and walked slowly because we were close to home. I don't want to finish our chatting.
