Chapter 4 HUNTER

"You don't have to worry about anything, I will get rid of the mole" she smiles and puts on her glasses "I am Juliet stone, everyone loves me" she opens the door and leaves.

GREY POV

I strolled to my locker after having a persecutor and criminal conversation with the principal. She dug deep into my soul, finding out every little piece of information about me. I don't know if she was scared of a bad egg from another school coming in to spoil her perfect golden eggs. Well her perfect golden eggs, tony stone in particular are already rotten on the inside.

"Hi, grey" I heard the voice of an angel inside my head. I turn around to know where that pleasant voice came from and I see a tall guy in gym clothes who showed off his athletic figure and a cute smile plastered on his face that illuminate his grey eyes.

Wow he looks like the Greek God apollo came to life

"It's grey right?" He asked again with a more charming smile but I can't answer him because I have been held captive by his presence, gaze, beauty, everything. My mouth has been rendered ineffective.

"Right?" He says again. Oh my God stop talking I feel like crying

"Yes yes yes grey, she's grey" Juliet suddenly butt in, hands on my shoulders shaking me back to my senses. I gave an agreement nod.

He adjusts his gym bag and extends a hand to me "I'm Alex but you can call me hunter". Is it strange to say that the moment I touched his hands, I gulped?

"Just grey" I shrug.

"Nice to meet you" he lets go of my hands "see you around grey" he takes his leave.

"So hunter huh" Juliet raises her eyebrow.

"What?" I open up my locker but have completely forgotten the reason I came here. I locked the locker. "Who is he? Like his details" I ask as we walked slowly to the front door.

"Do you like him?" She glances at me.

"No!" I quickly made things clear "I just want to know who he is, that's all" I can't tell when I haven't experienced love before

"Let me put it this way he is the rival to tony, in popularity. He is the first golden boy of the school with his dad as one of the big sponsors of greenside high" she whispers."if you think there's a chance for you wait till you see his line of wannabe girlfriends"

"Wow, so he is the one that put a tony stone to shame" I smirk "that's good to know".

"Have you found your partner?" she asked

"Nope"

"You are just being lazy you know, waiting for your partner to find you"

"I am?" I said. Maybe I am just scared to find out that tony stone is my partner for a whole school year.

Outside in the parking lot, I site auntie standing in front of her car, waving her hands vigorously in the air. Yes auntie I can see you.

"Hey you can ride with us, Auntie can be nice she will drop you off at your house," I say to Juliet as she was about to depart from me.

"Thanks, I will ride with my brother?" She replied.

"Your brother," I asked stunned.

"Oh, there he is" she points to a black Jeep moving towards us. The Jeep halts in front of me and I see tony at the driver seat wearing a dark shade, nodding his head repeatedly to the rhythm of the pop music playing.

Ewww who is he acting cool for

He stares in our direction.

Bloody hell, she's the sister to tony stone. Oh, I can feel my skin crawl.

"I will see you tomorrow bye grey"

"Bye Juliet" I exchange a smile with Juliet then I scowl at tony.

TONY POV

The room was quiet. I look down at the large chunk on my plate. I just couldn't bring myself to eat. It has been a while since the family ate together well except Juliet. Nowadays she rarely eats with us.

"was your flight tiring," mom asked dad, who unlike me seems to be enjoying the food.

"No" he answered coldly.

"I called severally," mom said wanting an explanation

"Why?" Dad inquired.

Alright, he is pissed off. Whenever he's irritated at mom only monosyllabic words come out of his mouth.

"How's your relationship with Elena," dad asked out of the blue. I look up in surprise. Mom also stared back at me with the same surprise look.

"Errrr good," I said with an indifferent shrug

"I hope you can make this work for once in your life" dad does

Oh great now he wants to come after me

"Oh yeah why don't you date her since you seem to pull off everything in your life perfectly" I fired back."Thanks for the food I enjoyed it"

I had to get up, I could not take this anymore. My headaches from all the talk of relationships.

"Tony" mom said under her breath

"You ungrateful brat, after everything I have done for you" he sputtered. knocking down the chair, he stood up suddenly. He came at me and grabbed, my shirt.

Mom rushed over her eyes already wet. She kneels before dad begging him to forgive me.

"What?" I paused. "He wouldn't be the first man to marry a young girl___"

"Oh my oh my" grandma groaned, slamming her fork on the table. "I can't absorb my food in peace" grandma holds her head up. "I can already feel the wrinkles rushing to the surface, all because someone decided to start a conversation" she glance at mom giving her a dirty look.

"Ma!!" Mom said, I watch as she tries to maintain her cool.

Dad lets go of my shirt and sit back down, his eyes glittering coldly.

"Don't screw it up your future depends on it" dad said as I walk away, with my earphones on pretending to not hear him

My future or yours. Greedy scumbag.

Going upstairs to my room, I continued to curse at my dad but stopped by Juliet's room which was just two rooms away from mine. I wondered why Juliet was not at the dining table and decided to check up on her. I'm quite sure mom must have made an effort to find out why Juliet did not eat with us.

I knock on the door twice but no response, I notice it was already unlocked. Slowly, I made my way into the darkroom. "Juliet why is the room dark," I said switching on my flashlight. Using the flashlight to scan the room I stumbled upon something, with my heart racing, my eyes examine the object on the floor only for me to realize I had stumbled upon Juliet.

Oh, Juliet! What is this

"Watch where you step" she pulled off her headphones. "Do you want to kill me T.s"? She charged towards the curtains and yanked them open, the sun reflection rushed into the room.

" you were lying on the floor in the darkness" I settled down on the bed. "Now that is a death sentence".

She shook her head " it won't kill you to say sorry you know" she sits down on a sofa beside the window.

"You weren't at the dining table"

"I am not hungry, by the way, you look miserable"

I struggle to reply "daddy issues"

"Oh just relax he will be out in three days" she leans closer "like I always say try your best to avoid him. That man is always frustrated"

"It's not that easy, you won't understand cause you are adopted. He cares less when it comes to you" I said. Juliet clamps a hand to her mouth.

"Wow that's true sometimes I forget" she gets up and hugs me tightly "thanks for always reminding me. I know sometimes you wish you were adopted just like me"

I look up at Juliet, well she's right I do wish I was adopted.

"So still no inspiration" I pointed at her sketches, changing the topic.

She huffs and sits down on the chair

"You look like a living art" she gave a cocky smile "shirt off"

"Not today" I lay down.

"Why" she gazes at me innocently "please I want to appreciate your aesthetics" her eyes flicker.

I sighed deeply. "Well there's a small price to pay"

"What do you want"

"I want to know everything about grey Cruz" I rose and looked into her eyes.

She nodded slowly "why didn't I see this before"

"See what," I asked curious to find out the sudden change.

"Your face," she said.

"What's wrong with my face" I got up, hurried into the bathroom, and stood in front of a mirror. Checking my face for damages but saw none, I understood Juliet just pulled a fast one on me. I came out of the bathroom to see Juliet laughing hard. "What's funny" I settled back on the bed.

"Nothing you do love your face" she winked.

"Do you want to paint me or not" I questioned.

"Well that was before" the laughter ends and her face suddenly becomes serious "I don't have any information on grey Cruz"

"Really"

"Yes by the way we just met, how do you expect me to know her life history". Juliet does a little sassy move with her head.

" well that means you are of no use to me," I said.

"Really why are you interested in here anyways. There's nothing special about her"

"I have a score to settle"

"Aww did she makes little prince tony fall on his pride," she said, mocking me.

"What the fuck is your problem"

"My problem is you have always been an idiot" she eyes me.

She continues "If you are thinking of using the red card on her, I suggest you calm your foolishness because you won't want the new principal on your tail"

"Wow wow wow" I clap her "for the very first time, I realize that you have something called a brain"

"On second thought," Juliet said rubbing her chin like a mystery detective finding out a clue.

"It would be nice to see you and hunter in a competition" Juliet smirks.

"Don't mention that d-head name here but what is the competition"

"For grey, earlier today I caught hunter making his first move on the new transfer student" she relaxes back on her chair.

Hunter is a flirt. Always loves taking the new students of greenside high. So this is going to be a game of who will get the new girl.

"A chance to humiliate my rival and enemy number one, I am in" I gave Juliet an airy kiss "you are good"

"Hey, don't forget she hates you. It's gonna be a little difficult but you have me I will pave the way" she giggles.

"So glad you are my sister"

"I am not your sister" she grins at me "I have paid my dues" she gestures to me "now shirt off, lay on your side, right hand supporting your head"

"Sure" I pulled off my shirt effortlessly to reveal my hot, sexy living art body. Although Juliet has always seen me shirtless her expressions whenever I take off my shirt never get old. "Behold the aesthetics"

Maybe all it takes is to pull my shirt off in front of grey and perhaps she will yield.

I laugh.

"What's funny" Juliet frown.

"Nothing please continue"
