Chapter 4 She was followed

"We're going live on 3, 2, 1 go" Leslie Shouted standing behind the camera. The light around the room focused on Roxanne, who sat in on a stool, a guitar on her hand and a standing mic.

Leslie Shut off the camera immediately she was done.

"That was a bravo Roxie" Mia said clapping.

"Thank you my lady" Roxie said.

Well...so Much has happened in the space of one week.

Roxie is no longer fat, which is surprising ,its like she lost 30pounds everyday which is a miracle.

And Roxanne's Mum asked Leslie and Mia to call her Mum, she got a promotion at work and was given a two-storey building by the company and a car, in addition she asked Leslie and her sister to live with her and Roxanne.

Life has been good after all, Roxie no longer feels low about herself.

Why would she? You should see her. She looks like a Korean goddess and an indian princess Joined together, with deep dimples.

Roxanne's Mom also got the girls enrolled in a gym class and the same highschool with Roxanne and tomorrow they'll be starting High school with Roxie.

Roxie also is now a karate student.

And the girls also opened a youtube channel where Roxie sings and were on their way on making 200k subscribers in less than two weeks.

"Mia why are you going MIA?" Roxie asked grinning and turning the knob to run out.

" you know you're done for right?" Mia asked and she nodded before running out, while the latter chased after her.

Roxie's Mum can be seen driving out and headed to a bush part.

She got down after going a little deep and a man came out.

"How is she?" He asked

"She's fine and doing good"

"I still don't think this is the right time to expose her to the world, he might be out there waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike" he said and sighed.

"Yunno, She's doing pretty good now, she can handle a gun perfectly without missing a shot, she's a professionally driver, I enrolled her into a karate class, she's learning her etiquettes pretty well, she passes her exams and...."

"I've heard enough, I heard about a driver who dived in between a train, was she the one?" He asked cutting her short.

"Trust me I was surprised as well, girl is crazier than I thought, you won't believe she sneaked into my room and made away with my office file cos I doubted she was a good ninja" i said in between laughs.

"But I feel like one of his boys are near, not just near but so near to her" he said after having a good laugh.

"You never told me you got super powers now" she said with sarcasm.

"I just wanna believe my instincts are right" he said "you should start going before someone sees your car" he said and stood up.

"Bye then" she said, entered her car and drove out, but halfway home she noticed a black Audi had been trailing her, so she cornered into another street.

Far off in a luxurious room is a man holding a tab. The Displaying news was about a driver who got chased by the cops for overspeeding and escaped as the diver dived in between a moving train!

Although the sex of the driver wasn't mentioned, the man could tell it was a female

A knock on the door pulled gis attention away from the new.

"Come in"

The door opened and one of his boys came in.

"What do you have?" He asked staring at the bou as he lowered his head.

"The woman, I found the daughter but there's a problem" he said and his already high spirit reduced.

"What do you mean by there is a problem? You've found the girl, there is only one thing to do which is to bring her" the man watching a news where a driver dived in between a train, although the sex of the driver wasn't mentioned I could tell it was a girl.

A knock on the door pulled my attention away from the TV.

"Come in"

The door opened and one of my boys came in.

"What do you have?" I asked staring at him as he lowered his head.

"The woman, I found the daughter but there's a problem" he said and my already high spirit reduced.

"What do you mean by there is a problem? You've found the girl, there is only one thing to do which is to bring her" I snapped at him angrily.

On a normal day the boy would've shot him but right now he isn't because he has important informations to give.

"Boss, she stay's with three girls and its hard to determine which of them is her daughter cos they all call her Mom, unless she had other kids during the past years or perhaps adopted them" he said and the man glared at him.

The man lamented within as soon as he heard it:'Oh Goodness, Hailey is more intelligent than I thought. What am I saying she has always been!'

"I don't know how you'll do it, but since you are sure one of them is HER, shoot them all dead or find a way to lure them here, I'll deal with them myself and get the real one" he thundered, the boy got what he meant cos he nodded and left.

Roxie's Mom, Hailey, drove into the street and got down, she left an explosive in the car and closed it properly. She searched for a proper hiding place and hid.

Shortly after, the men after her arrived and just as stupid as their boss is, all six of them went close to the car.

Hailey waited a little bit longer before she blew the car up and people ran helter skelter.

She walked out and entered an automobile shop and purchased a new vehicle.

Shw got home to see the the living room scattered and the girls on each other.

"Welcome Mom" They yelled in unison she only smiled at them and climbed the stairs.

Once in her room, she brought down the box on the shelf and opened it with a pass code.

She stared at the picture in it with tears sliding down her cheeks.

"Is that my Father?" A voice startled her and she immediately locked the box.

"It's nothing you should be worried about" Hailey said, lifted the box and put it back on the top shelf.

"Yunno, mom it won't hurt if I see what he looks like at least" Roxie said pleadingly

"Go away Roxie, I'm tired" Hailey said and climbed the bed covering herself with the duvet.

"Goodnight mom" Roxie sighed and walked out slamming the door angrily.
