Chapter 7 MOVE V

Bearing my teeth to the rouge wolf i was about to attack when a grey-ish fairly large wolf attacked him first, and I didn't need the scent to tell me that it was chris Seconds later another wolf appeared and as it was about to attack me when jax stepped in making me growl with frustration.

Why can't these two let me fight for gods sake!? But as another four appeared they had no choice but to let me in on the fighting. Not even a minute latter two wolves joined us in on the fight and it was non other than my brother and mate. After a while five out of the six rouges were dead and the last was dragged to the dungeons to be questioned. "What happened?!" My now naked mate asked I was the only girl out of the five of us and i was the only one dressed in a black Bodice that had a see through black skirt for it; I don't even know what Selene is trying to do! " and what the fuck are you wearing?!" He added as he saw the dress I'm in, quickly pulling on some basketball shorts as well as the rest "Do i look like i know?! And you can ask the Moon Goddess for all i care!" I said throwing my hands up in the air "Sis, we need to know what happened, so please stop being stubborn for a second and talk to us." Stef said as he walked towards me with begging eyes "We were walking and before we knew it rouges started attacking." I said shrugging my shoulders and soon Sebastian growled punching a tree making it shake vigorously "This is all your fault! It's definitely him! He's onto us and if he knows this wont be the last attack. He won't rest until he takes revenge." Sebastian was blabbing on as he paced one of his hands rubbing his forehead and soon he started swearing and punching trees and non of us really saw the use of talking to him until he punched down a tree "Seb" i tried getting his attention by using the nickname I've been calling him since we were kids but he went on to another tree not even hearing me "Seb!" I tied again but it was to no use as another tree fell to the ground taking in a breath of air I practically shouted at him "SEBASTIAN STOP!" And this time he did stop mid punch the third tree that was on its way to be doomed swayed ready for the final blow that will send it to the ground "If he knows..." it was the first time in forever that i see him this vulnerable and my heart ached as the look on his face turned from angry to sad to defeated. "Even if he does, whatever it is, whoever he is, we will get through it, together, we always do." I said taking a step towards him with each word i say and when i was tight before him he swiftly wrapped his arms around me and placed his head in my neck taking my scent in calming him self and his wolf down. I was shocked for a minute and didn't respond but the sparks woke me up as I wrapped my arms around him as well It felt like hours that we were in each others arms, and i almost let out a whimper when he pulled away finally calmed down but instead i only bit my lip and took two steps back. Looking around I didn't see my brother nor my friends around us anymore making me glare at the places they were standing. "I promise." Was the only thing i heard from Sebastian before he shifted into his wolf form again and took of further into the woods. -Sebastian'sPOV- you're welcome... He knows, he definitely knows, and he's coming for her. And I can't do anything about it, all because of a stupid mistake that could've been avoided. We'll do everything, anything, we'll protect her at all costs, promise. My wolf swore, he knew the danger our mate was in but he was calm as i took in her scent one last time "I promise." I said before letting her go and giving him full control I thought at first that he would stay next to her to make sure she's alright, but I guessed wrong as he swiftly took off not even giving her a glance. He ran and ran all around the territory, at least five times making sure no outsiders are near the territory. And by the time he was sure and satisfied it was around five in the morning as the sun started rising. Tired from running around for hours and exerting pressure on his senses he finally decided that it was time to go back to the pack house were he gave me back control. After throwing on some basketball shorts that were left by the door i walked in only to be surprised by my mate sound asleep on one of the sofas in the living room wrapped up in a throw blanket. I smiled knowing that she must've been the one to leave the shorts out and was probably waiting fir me to come back. "I'm sorry baby girl, i hate myself for hurting you, but that's the only way to keep you safe." I whispered before giving her head a butterfly kiss. Carrying her bridle style up to her room I couldn't stop myself from imagining how life would be if i could be with her. Waking up to her beautiful face every morning and to see her smile at me, to be able to kiss her whenever i want, to go on dates with her, to cuddle her and go to sleep knowing she's next to me and safe. The sad and angry feeling took over me again, like every time i think of her. Setting her on her bed I covered her up with her blanket before sitting next to her as I moved the strand of hair that covered her face away. And i spent the next hour like that, just sitting next to her basking in the sparks between us and as soon as i felt her waking up i left her room and headed towards my own. DANIELLA'S POV- I woke up to find myself no my bed and Sebastian's scent fresh in my room making me believe that he must've been the one to bring me up to my room. I let a sigh leave my lips as i sat up in my bed and looked at the clock to see that it was six am, which isn't that much of sleep hours since i think i started drifting at around three am. Nevertheless i got out of bed and went for a much needed shower, putting on grey leggings and a black long sleeve and my black runners before tying up my hair and going downstairs. Deciding on a quick breakfast before heading out for my run, but surprisingly enough i find Sebastian sitting down with jax and chris, on the same table may i add, having breakfast together. "Good morning." I say with a smile and the guys look at me and while jax and chris smile and reply Sebastian only nods in my direction. "Are we doing the usual or?" Jax asked after a minute of silence making me nod "Yeah, but usually i wake up at 5 to help with training, it just happened that yesterday I stayed up too late." I said avoiding Sebastian's eyes that were directed at me. "Cool, I thought we're gonna have to go on our own." Chris said before standing up and towards the sink. As i finished my glass of orange juice and granola bars, yes, but only two, I washed my glass and jax followed shortly. We walked towards the front door and i was surprise that Sebastian hadn't said a word the whole time and didn't even follow us. "So you help train huh, why did I expect that?" Chris asked as we started stretching readying ourselves for a run around the territory I simply shrug as i finish stretching, "I'll have to warn you, our territory is big, i run the border at least three times, and that's equal to six times what you guys ran." I said because i ran twice as much as they did "We need to step it up if we want to show our worth to the pack anyway." Chris said shrugging as he and jax got into position "On three?" I asked as I stood between them ready for the race. Even tho they know i give them a head start every time, they still expect to see me next to them as we start running every time "Three!" We all said at the same time as we always skip the one and two. After five minutes i take off as well and not ten minutes later I'm next to them even with my slow pace running and after the first lap around the territory i left them to continue the other rounds. After finishing up my rounds I continue over to the fields where everyone should be practicing, or well, wrapping up since i did wake up pretty late, I'm slacking. I found that indeed everyone was stretching as they try to relax their muscles from the extreme sports they have been doing. I see my brother and uncle standing in front of everyone talking seemingly in hushed voices. I didn't realize that I've been standing there for half an hour until people start to leave and my two idiots show up "So, is that where we're going to train?" Chris asked making me nod "It's were we usually train for combat. There's much more ground for training in other specialities like archery and sniping and other stuff.." i said as we started walking down the hill to the open land "So, are we gonna be one on one while the third rests?" Jax asked making me chuckle as i shook my head "Two on on." I said as i reached where we keep the swords taking my trusty and lovely dual swords "Just don't get yourselves killed-" i stated as i started swinging my swords around loving the feeling that I've missed " and choose your weapons." I said nodding at the sword compartment. "You know, my specialty is swords, right?" Chris said shortly followed by jax saying "but mine is archery." As he concentrated at trying to pick a good sword "I've specialized in archery, wielding swords, combat and sniping.Don't worry about me." I said as i stood in position ready for chris, who chose a double sword that snaps into one long stick, to attack as jax finally choses his own small sword "Let's begin than." Chris said not wasting anytime as he swung at me and with swift movement i was standing behind him, now facing jax who swung at me and not having enough time to move out of his way i put up my own sword and blocked him. And soon enough i was holding off both boys, and even though chris was harder to take on, jax wasn't too bad himself. We went on like that for around half an hour, when jax tapped out leaving chris and I to it. Another half an hour and i was on top of chris pointing my sword at his heart smirking in victory as his sword lay at the far end of the "ring" if you can call it that "I really love this position." Chris said as he casually moved one of his hands from next to him to under his head giving me a lazy smile. "Oh shut up mister." I said laughing as i threw my own sword away, but before i could get up His unoccupied hand wrapped around my waist as his other went under my head as he swiftly flipped us and now i was under. "But I gotta say, i love this position more." He whispered in my ear before laying a short kiss on my sweaty forehead as I laughed. But my laugh was cut short when i heard a growl and suddenly Chris was thrown off of me and a furious Sebastian stood over him. It didn't take me long to figure out what was going to happen, and as quick as i could i started to run towards them but was too late as Sebastian had already punched Chris. "Don't ever put your dirty hands on her again you asshole!" He screamed as he went in for another punch which Chris barely avoided. "Sebastian!" I said but he didn't pay me any attention as he roundhouse kicked chris to the ground and got on top of him landing punch after the other as jax tried pulling him off. Chris could take care of himself, but after all of today's training and being taken by surprise he was no where near being able to protect himself right now. "Sebastian stop!" I said agian as he threw jax off of him landing another punch at chris who was starting to loose his consciousness "Sebastian please! Stop!" I yelled but still to no avail And when chris absolutely lost consciousness I started to really loose it "SEBASTIAN FOR SELENE'S SAKE STOP YOU'RE KILLING HIM!" I screamed as tears sprung to my eyes when he didn't stop Not having another choice, i did something that surprised the both of us as i threw my arms around him and hugged him from behind and cried into his back "Please." I whispered and felt him completely go still He slowly turned around and stood up with me still crying as he hugged me back and taking my scent in as it calmed him down "I'm sorry." He whispered after a minute before breaking the hug, swiftly shifting and running into the woods Looking at chris, who was still laying on the floor his face bruised and jax next to him trying to wake him up "Chris? Bro wake up." Jax said hesitantly shaking chris' shoulder Moving quickly, I checked for his pulse and let out a breath as i felt his pulse, soft but there. "We need to take him to the doctor." I said making jax nod at me as he swiftly carried chris towards the pack doctor After about an hour of us waiting next to the unconscious chris I noticed his small wounds start to heal as his eyes started to flutter The meds are finally working As a groan left his mouth his eyes opened and jax and I were practically over him bombarding him with questions "How are you feeling?" "You're still alive?" "Do you know who i am?" "How many fingers am I holding up?" Were some of the stupid questions And then I realized that he probably couldn't speak as his would feel too dry Quickly giving him a cup full of cold water as jax helped him sit up. "I'm okay guys. I probably just shouldn't have done that knowing that he was watching.." he said chuckling "You knew that he was watching?" I screeched at the same time as jax asked it in a surprise ld note "Yup." He said giving us a guilty smile "Dimwit." I said giving him a slap to the back of the head "Ouch." He said rubbing the part i hit making me roll my eyes "You're lucky you're not dead man. And if it wasn't for Dani we probably would've been choosing a coffin right now." Jax said glaring at his best friend Giving us a small shrug he didn't get to say anything as the emergency room that was once relatively empty started buzzing with nurses and doctors shouting as bloody bodies started to be rolled in. "What's going on?" I asked one of the nurses who was rolling one of the pack members next to chris' bed And what she said next made worry wash over me.
