Chapter 4 4

" How dare you do this to me?!!!" She yelled again walking towards Nadine whose eyes were already red, teary, and swollen with fear. "Don't come near me please, please" Nadine begged with heartache and fear. She was so scared. She was scared Madine would take Trent away from her. She was scared Trent would hate her completely. She was also scared her parents would hate her. Madine walked slowly to her, bent over, and picked her up with her shirt.

"You're my twin sister, Nadine!! How can you treat me like this?! If you tell me you're in love with Trent, I would have left him for you but what did you do? You almost killed me?!!" Madine said with so much hatred and pain. She didn't think her twin sister would do that to her. She loved Nadine so very much. Madine hissed, threw Nadine's cloth, and walked to her bed. Madine was searching for something, as she disarranged the bed Nadine's eyes followed. "What are you trying to do?" Her heart raced as she thought Madine was trying to tell Trent and her parents about all she did. Madine paused, slowly she turned to Nadine and said; "I'm going to tell everyone what you have done. There is still time for you to repent now." Madine said and turned around. Finally, she found what she was looking for, it was the telephone. Seeing it, Nadine's eyes widened, fear crept her whole body and she began to shake so much. "I have to stop her" She let in a sharp breathe and bit her lips painfully but she didn't t feel any of that pain. "I have to stop her. Nadine think!" She said to herself until her eyes reached her leather bag. The leather bag is so expensive and the leather is very strong. Nadine took it slowly, she stood up gently and walked towards Madine slowly, with no noise at all. "He...." Before Madine could talk, Nadine had carried the leather bag and hit it against her head. However, Madine had seen her so she dogged it and Nadine fell to the bed. Quickly, Madine removed the drip and used it to tie Nadine's hand so she won't be able to move. Once she was done, she let out a deep breath, placed her hand on her waist, and looked at her twin sister. "You want to kill me, don't you? You're a psycho!" Madine said. Then she used her eyes to search for the telephone, as she did this, Nadine trembled and pushed her leg forward in a way that kicked madine hard. The floor was a tiled floor so it was very slippery, Madine couldn't control herself so she fell to the ground and hit her head on the floor hard. Nadine watched this, her eyeball moved at the fall in a swift. Her heart began to pound harder when Madine didn't move. "Madine?" She called. The rope wasn't very tight, She was able to lose it fast. She got down from the bed and walked towards her sister. "Madine?" She called but no response. Nadine's hands shook, she touched her sister's hand and there was no pulse, her heartbeat accelerated. "Madine please wake up" She began to cry. "I need to leave!" She Said to herself and quickly carried Madine to the bed, she input the drip into her hand and other things. Then she used the bed sheet to cover her well so it looked as though she was still in a coma. With this Nadine ran out of the hospital ward, looking to and fro as if monitored. She walked out, into her car and drove off, shaking and biting her lips nervously. "You didn't do it on purpose, Nadine. It's all her fault. If she didn't wake up nothing like that will happen. You deserve Trent more than anyone. You've always loved Trent so you deserve him more than anyone!" She told herself. Encouraging herself, Trying not to break down. Just then, her phone rang and it frightened her. She jumped on her seat when she noticed its just her phone, she sighed and closed her eyes for a second then picked it. "Hi," She said. "Hi baby" The thick voice spoke at the other end. "Who am I speaking with?" Nadine asked. She knew very well it's not Trent because Trent's voice was way better than that. "Have you forgotten me so soon, baby?" The voice said in a smirking manner. "Tell me or I'm ending this call" She rushed the words. She was already getting angry. "Fine. It's Grey, your ex-boyfriend" He answered, Relinquished. Hearing his name, Nadine rolled her eyes. "What do you want from me?!" "Your sister" he answered and laughed mentally. "You're stupid. Don't you ever call me again!" She barked and ended the call. After she and Grey broke up, he has always disturbed her about her sister saying he wants to date her. She placed her phone on her lap and concentrated on the road. Not long, the phone rang again. With anger, Nadine picked it and yelled; "I said don't call me again!" "Tf? Who ?" Trent sounded at the other end. Realizing it's Trent, she cooled down mentally, closed her eyes, and said; "I'm so sorry. Someone pissed me off" She said. Trent smiled. "Can you come home quickly? I have a surprise for you" He said. Immediately, all of her worries and fears disappeared. She ended the call, her mind was only on Trent. She smiled just by thinking about him. Soon, she got to Trent's mansion. As she drove in, the maids and security men bowed to her until she parked well. One of the maids rushed to her to take her bag but she smiled and nodded. "Don't worry" With this, she went in search of Trent. When she got to Trent's room, she saw no one. She was surprised so she walked out, there was no one in the passage as well. Then she picked her phone and dialed his number, it was switched off. "Trent?" She called. She decided to go out to ask about Trent. However when she got outside, she met no one as well even the maids and the guards, no one was there. "Trent?" Her heart began to pound faster. She was too fragile, tears burned the back of her eyes almost falling off. Suddenly, as if the light was taken and restored, the whole compound lit up with sparkling lights. Nadine was stunned, she looked at the water fountain and it looked like the water was light and vice versa. She gently turned around, she was stunned by what she saw. It was Trent, he wore an Italian suit, expensive shoes. Facial features are clean and handsome. He knelt on one of his knees and said; "Will you marry me?" It was such a nice moment. Immediately, flashlights here and there. Everyone was taking pictures. With tears in her eyes, Nadine ran to him, she stretched her finger and took the ring then hugged him so tight. NEWSFLASH: ARROGANT TRENT HUSTIN FINALLY PROPOSES TO A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN. ONE THOUSAND WOMEN FAINTED AFTER HEARING THESE. TWO THOUSAND WOMEN CRIED ON SOCIAL MEDIA. THREE THOUSAND LAMENTED ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA. In The Hospital; Mr. and Mrs. Oreo rushed to the hospital after the doctor called them. They quickly went to the nurse they saw first. "Please where is the doctor?" Mrs. Oreo asked. "Right here" Doctor Owen walked out fully, he stood in front of Mr. and Mrs. Oreo and said; "Your daughter is awake," He said. Behind them was Nadine, she was dumbfounded when she heard what the doctor had said. "No. No. No" She thought, fear visible on her face. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead immediately.
