Chapter 4 First Mission

"Cyanide! Hi!" I turned to my right because of a sudden call to me.

"Do you remember me? I'm the one who asked if you're a transferee!" he said happily before holding my arm. I was ashamed to smile at him and his companion.

"I'm Demi! The sexiest girl in our program!" He even waved his hair even though it wasn't long. His accessories also rang in the bag she was holding. He's gay and that's fine.

"I'm Danika Rhys! Call me Rhys! Nice to meet you!" His companion held out her hand to me so I accepted it.

"Nice to meet you too," I answered and smiled.

"You don't have any friends, do you? We'll be your friends from now on!" I winced at the tone of Demi's voice, he was pitching her voice to be a woman's voice.

"We'll stick together! Always and forever!" Rhys shouted. I shuddered as I looked at them. When Rhys looked at me I immediately smiled so she smiled back at me.

"Stop acting cute Rhys! You're disgusting!" said Demi artfully.

"I'm really cute!" Rhys smiled again widely so I noticed her narrow eyes and plump cheeks.

"You're short!" Demi's teasing of her. I just watched them argue.

"Come on Cyanide!" Demi pulled me so I followed him, Rhys also followed us.

"So Cyanide, what University are you from?" Demi asked as he fix his lipstick. I was surprised by his question because I did not think about what answer should I give.

"Why did you move in the middle of the semester? Did you fail?" Rhys asked curiously. I looked away from them. If I lie, they must both believe me.

I looked around, looking for any name so I could at least have an answer. My eyes narrowed when I saw that word on the bulletin board.

"Ah! I just came home from another country," I said. I hesitated to smile at them but they didn't notice.

"Did I mention that you're different?" said Demi with an accompanying gesture as if measuring the angle of my face.

"Is is your height?" Rhys asked innocently so Demi also stopped what he was doing and looked at Rhys.

"I'm not from a different race and it's in our genes that's why I'm tall!" I answer them. Demi laughed and even hit Rhys.

"You're just really small!" he teased Rhys. Rhys frowned before taking the blow. I stopped them because they wouldn't stop.

"Girl you look really different, what skin care do you use?" Demi asked as we sat in our chair. I laughed and shook my hand but before I could answer our professor entered.

They didn't sculpt me for the whole class, prof just called me so I went to his office to fill in the the hospital where I wanted to do my internship. I just chose the biggest one because that's what he recommended.

"Cyanide let's hang out in Medicine!" thrilled Rhys said.

"Let's find handsome guys!" Demi shouted with excitement.

"All right then," I smiled at them so they immediately pulled me to the building they said. I don't want to be someone killing the joy.

Demi frowned as he sighed. I heard Rhys's soft footsteps and the words she said softly.

"Why isn't Callum here?" Rhys asked me so I raised an eyebrow. Who is he referring to?

"My baby Callum!" said Demi. He wiped away the tears even though nothing came out of his eyes.

"Who is that?" I asked them. They sat down and looked at me as if mocking.

"You do not know?!" they shouted at me. They stood up and walked around in front of me so my forehead furrowed even more.

"The most handsome man in Eleutheria! He has twinkling eyes that when they look at you, you could die! His nose, even if I just touch it with my finger, I'm going to have a party!" said Demi. He tapped his nose as if it's what he imagined.

"His lips are super kissable! His well-defined jaw! Omygod!" Rhys shrieked.

"So he's just handsome that's why ypu like him?" I asked them before laughing. They looked at me at the same time so I stopped because it looked like they were going to eat me alive.

"No! Not just that! Aside from his handsome face, well-built body, he's also a straight-A student!" Demi said arrogantly and I even raised an eyebrow.

"He's a top student in Medicine school!" added Rhys. She also raised her eyebrow but it just didn't suit her because she looked like a child who was just staring. I blinked when Demi clapped his hand.

"He's also from the family of a successful businessman in Eleutheria! Plus he doesn't care about women so we're really the end game!" I covered my ears because of Demi's scream.

"You're not sure about that! Maybe when he sees my beautiful face I'll capture baby Callum!" Rhys shouted at her so he glared. I just laughed at them because they were fighting for a guy.

"Where's that beautiful one?!" Demi teased before taking out her fan.

"You Cyanide! Did you see anyone handsome here in the Med?" Demi sat down next to me so Rhys nodded. Rhys even came up to me to hear what I had to say.

"Hmm no one," I answered quickly so they immediately stared at me which made me laugh softly.

"Find a guy so you can come here when we hang out!" said Demi.

"Yes! But if it's just baby Callum, don't do it!" Rhys said to me but she laughed afterwards.

"Shut up Rhys! I'm ahead of baby Callum! I want him in ever since high school!" Demi even covered her mouth to stop the scream but the voice still cracked.

"Excuse me ma'am and sir, no noise is allowed here!" aggravating the security guard in the Med building.

"Sorry sir!" embarrassed Rhys said and pulled us away.

"Manong is so strict! I haven't even seen baby Callum yet!" said Demi as we sat on the bench. I was still catching my breath because we ran away from that building.

"Why did we run?" I asked Rhys.

"I also do not know!" she said but it was just weak response. We looked at Demi when his phone rang, he didn't take long and said goodbye because his driver was already here.

I also said goodbye to Rhys and went home. I just took the bus and walked into the subdivision. No vehicle enters the subdivision except a private vehicle or taxi. I looked at my foot that was already red from the shoes I was wearing. It was injured earlier when we ran.

I touched the doorknob when I noticed that my doormat was crooked. I remember earlier that it was evenly placed in the floor. I immediately turned the doorknob but it was closed. I looked around to see if there was a suspicious person or vehicle but there was none. I swallowed hard and felt the cold bead of sweat dripping down my forehead. I opened the door, slowly entered, looking around. I locked the door in case someone else was here so he couldn't get out right away.

I looked to see if anyone was inside besides me but there was none. I also looked to see if anything was missing from my belongings but nothing. I took a deep breath and immediately sat down on the sofa. I even laughed to myself because I thought I had been reprimanded by Akuji.

"If mommy sees me now she'll probably laugh at me then," Laughing I said to myself. I lifted my foot on the table and leaned my head on the sofa but I was stopped by feeling the hard object behind me.

I immediately stood up and took it. Studying whether it would hurt me or not, when I confirmed it was just a normal box I opened it. I took the card given to me at the celebration and put it on top. My initials and CBD-B tag came out before it opened.

I was shocked to see what was in the box. I took a deep breath before leaning back on the sofa.

"I thought I had my car key!" I complained to myself before taking the little paper in there.

I frowned because the Chairman sent the box. I thought I would enjoy first while there was no mission? I enjoy in one day!

My lips parted and my eyes widened slightly. Is this real? I tapped my cheek lightly and firmly closed my eyes but when I open them, the number didn't changed. Immediately a smile changed my lips because of what I saw.

"I'll just look for it, right?" I asked myself before nodding.

"Bring alive to Akuji." I added. I immediately hugged that paper and lay down on the sofa. I'm wondering what this money can be used for.

I think I can easily find him, especially given the hospital where he works. Maybe I'll get to know him right away just like the people here immediately notice me because I act differently and look different.

"Anthony Selastino, you will make me rich!" I shouted in joy.
