Chapter 5 Uncle Joe's Relationship Tips

Some hours passed and Joe was well rested. He then came out of his room only for him to see James already sleeping on the couch.

Joe then went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

After that went to the living room to wake James who was still sleeping.

"Wake up sleepyhead" Joe said jokingly

"What time is it?" James asked with a sleepy face.

"It's 8pm son" Joe answered.

Moments later Joe and James were both sitted on the dining table eating as it was evening.

"So Uncle Joe how about you start giving me those tips you you will give me on how to go about it with Anita." James said

"Getting to know a lady is very easy. Come on it's the 21st century. The first thing you need to do is to check up on her social media." Joe replied.

"Wow that's really smart! I didn't even think about that." James said

He then brought out his phone from his pocket and searched Anita on Instagram.

"But there are lots of Anita. How do I know which one is her's." James asked

"Anita Pedro. Pedro is her surname Joe answered.

James then searched for Anita Pedro on Instagram.

"Wow I see it. I can see her profile. "James said with the happy face.

"That step one. Now you need to know what kind of things she likes by going through her posts" Joe added.

"It says here in biography that she loves horse riding." James read out.

"But Uncle Joe I've never rode a horse before. How am I supposed to do that?" James asked.

"You don't really need to be good at it. You can just make it a date. By the way there is a park not far from here, about 30 minutes drive where you can both ride horses." Joe said

"And again never tell her you checked up on her Instagram handle. That will make you look like a stalker. Joe added.

"Thank you so much Uncle Joe. This has really been helpful. I guess tomorrow I need to go and see her and then see how it goes. However I would need some money too." James said

"That's not the problem. I'll give you $200 tomorrow morning. That should be more than enough to sustain you on your date". Joe said.

"You're the best uncle in the whole world." James said out loud with joy.

Hahaha Joe laughed.

"Come on eat up your food before it gets cold." Joe added

"Yeah I am." James replied.

"Also remember this. Do not push things. Just allow them to flow naturally when having a conversation with her. Do not be too hasty for answers and do not be too quiet. Just be yourself." Joe said.

"Thank you. I'll keep that in mind" James replied.

It wasn't long before both of them finished their dinner and had to retire to bed ahead of tomorrow.

The night went fast and it was already morning.

Knock knock James head on his door.

Joe walked in and said "good morning sleepy head with a smile. Here's the $200 i said I'll give you."

"By the way I'm heading to work already. Feel comfortable to make yourself whatever breakfast you need." He added

"Good morning uncle and thank you so much" James said as he walked him towards the door so he could shut the door after Joe left for work.

James run to the shower to get all clean quickly knowing he had a to see Anita today.

He then reached for the kitchen to grab some milk and cornflakes.

He dressed classy and clean. He also used his uncle's perfume to smell nice.

Of course ladies like guys who smell nice don't they? Never mind me back to the story.

He went out of the house, locked the door and walked to Anita's house.

James knocked Anita's door which took a while for her to open as it was still morning.

"Good morning Anita" James said as she finally opened the door.

"Hi James! Good morning and thank you for the other day" Anita replied.

"Can I come in?" James asked

"Of course come in please. Anita replied as she opened the door widely for James to enter.

"Please wait here in the living room. I haven't taken my bath. I'll be right back." Anita said

"Okay no problem" James replied as he switched on the TV to watch whatever show that was on.

A couple of minutes later Anita was back.

"So what brings you here?" She asked

"Well I actually want you to show me my way around here since I don't really know much places here. I was hoping if you could show me James said.

"That's fine. I will show you places around here." She answered

"Yes please we could leave now? James said.

"Perfect let's go then! She said as she led the way.

Both holding hands they left the house for an adventure.

Little did they know that this was the beginning of their love journey.

Although Anita saw it as just showing James around, James saw it as a date.

She took him to the park uncle Joe talked about.

Pretending not to know. James asked "Where is this place?"

"It's a park. I do come here often. Anita replied

"Wow it's beautiful! James said

"Can you ride horses?" She asked joyfully

"No I can't" James replied a little bit shy.

"Come on, it's easy. I'll show you how." Anita said as she dragged him towards a horse.
