Chapter 4 BECOMING UGLY

" really, that's very nice of you why didn't you tell stella to cook it she asked.

" I asked her to go home for some days I am here to take good care of my best friend.

"let me go and freshen up she said and went upstairs to take her shower.

Chloe and her friend Juliana spend a lot of time together after they finish eating they sat on a chair talking and laughing she hasn't felt so happy like this for the past few years since Juliana traveled because she is the only friend that she have and truly understand her. Chloe is the type of girl that select the kind of friend she mingle with, the type of place she goes to even the type of party she attend because she very pretty and wealthy her beauty is her most cherished item.

"what about your husband mike she asked Juliana.

we are no longer together, we divorce she said in a broken and sad voice.

Chloe was silent for a long time her friend just got married last year and now she is divorced she felt her pain there is no thought all men are the same and true love doesn't exist she thought. "what happened she asked her worriedly.

" well I caught him cheating on me severally and the most painful was that he has a son and another wife he was keeping secretly she said in sadness.

"and you couldn't call to tell me about it you must have gone through a lot Beauty said holding her hands.

"I don't want you to have bad impression on men or to give up on love. I was thinking he will change she said.

"why are men so selfish well I don't give a fuck about any man Chloe said.

babe let go shopping let paint the street red we don't need this sad atmosphere Juliana said standing up from her seat.

"yea let go shopping Chloe scream as they rushed into the car.

Chloe and Juliana went shopping in the biggest and popular shopping complex in California everybody couldn't get their eyes off her both male and female they all admire her beauty, riches and fame yes she is a very popular on social media any guy can break up with his girlfriend just to be with ber. most times Chloe doesn't believe in true love because most of the guys coming to her either wants her beauty, fame or money. after shopping and having fun for the whole day they went home very tired and exhausted. her phone pip she pick it up and saw a text from Andrew.

" babe come outside I have something for you. she read the message as a smile crept to her face.

" coming she replied and toss the phone on the chair she checked through the window and saw him leaning on his car smiling.

she quickly put on her slippers and adjust her clothes well as she walk towards the door.

"where are you going to her Juliana asked her coming down from the stairs.

"I will be right back she said and walk outside.

" Hi she hugged Andrew immediaty she gets to where he is.

"how you doing Andrew said caressing her hair.

" am fine she replied smiling.

" you look more beautiful Andrew complement admiring her.

"he went inside his car and bring out a box and hand it over to her." what's this beauty asked immediately she collect it from him.

"I just felt like buying you something beautiful he said smiling.

"thanks she said smiling.

" em I will like to invite you over to my house tomorrow for dinner please don't say no he just me and you alone all through the day he said in a romantic voice that sends shiver to Chloe's body.

"around what time she asked him. six Andrew replied feeling very excited.

"see you by six then she said and hugged him before going inside.

"girlfriend is that the lucky guy Juliana screamed immediately beauty entered inside.

"well I hope so she replied rolling her eyes.

" he is very cute and handsome then her eyes landed on the box that beauty was holding." wow he got you this you are very lucky my friend she said and collect the box from beauty they opened the box quickly in excitement immediately Juliana saw what was inside the box she couldn't hold the joy any longer as she scream in excitement.

"this is very beautiful girl this guy is very good in treating a girl and I hope is very good in bed also she said teasing Chloe who hit her playfully in the arms. "don't say bad things in my house.

" wow this dress is going to fit you perfectly Juliana said as she brought out a body hug blue dress from the box matching with a shoe and a paurse. the box also contain a pink teddy bear. "your guy is very sweet and romantic Juliana finally said sincerely, and I hope you love him she asked Chloe facing her.

"well am just starting to develop my feelings towards him and I can't say if I have any feelings for him yet she answered a little bit nervous.

"just give this a try and I hope it worked for you Juliana said holding her hands in assurance.

Chloe woke up late the following day since she have makeup her mind not to go to work that day she is going to spend the day with her friend. she wore her flip flop slippers and headed to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee there she met Juliana already in the kitchen making breakfast for them. all thanks to Juliana she thought by now she will have to order for food or ask her house help to cook for her because cooking is one of the most stressful work for her and she doesn't know how to do it.

"morning babe she greeted Juliana immediately she entered the kitchen.

"how was your night and hope you dreamt about Andrew Juliana tease her.

"what are you preparing for breakfast she asked Anna who was backing her.

"I am making meat sauces and pasta for us she said.

" Hmmmmm alright I will be inside my room just call me when you are done she said taking her coffee.

"have a test Juliana called Chloe back facing with a spoon immediately she saw Chloe face her spoon fall off from her hands making a loud sound.

"what happened to your face girl did you apply something to it she said in disgust.

"my face Chloe panic in fear she didn't apply anything to it. what must have happened to her face she thought because Juliana reaction scares her much.

"you can go and chec ...... she didn't allow Juliana to finish her statement as she ran inside her room. she went straight to the mirror what she saw scares the hell out of her. her face was looking very ugly and rough. Noooo she screamed and smashed her hands on the mirror immediately Juliana entered and cuddle her in her arms.

"what happened to my pretty face, what happened to me no no no this is not my face she wipe on jullianas arms as she cry like a baby.

"don't worry we are going to find solution to it please don't injure yourself further she said holding her injured hands that was bleeding due to how she hit the mirror.

"please get me a solution to it I can't live with this horrible face she cried the more.

"should I call Andrew for you she suggest hoping that it will make her to stol crying not knowing that it will worsen the cry. "no don't call him Andrew can't see me like this and I need to get my beauty back before six today because I have a dinner with him.

"your beauty will come back all you just have to do is to stop crying and let contact all the best doctors will can reach to I believe they will find solution to it.

"then what are we waiting for let start calling them now Beauty replied already lost her pantience she can't imagine staying like this with this kind of ugly face for the next one hour.
