Chapter 4 Transition

Silvia quickly dropped the gun and used her hand to grab Elena's hand.

She drew her up until and they both climbed up the slope until they got to the top.

Elena's hand was still bleeding. She never cared but wondered how Silvia was able to catch her with her teeth.

Even the depth of the teeth was another question entirely.

Silvia successful climbed to the top and helped Elena.

"Thanks". Elena said.

Their eyes drifted forward and there was Elvis pointing a harpoon at them.

"And here your journey ends". He said.

"I need to run as fast as you can don't look back ". Silvia whispered.

"Silvia?". She we whispered back.

"Go ?". Silvia screamed leaping forward at the man.

Elena took to her heel and

the arrow from the harpoon caught her arm that she screamed out falling to the ground.

Elena heard a loud scream but been warned she kept running not looking back.

Silvia tried to stand up but the pain was much.

Elvis brought out a Fibre wire and wrapped it around her neck to decapitate her.

An incoming roar was heard a viscous werewolf flew out hitting him away.

He somersaulted down the slope screaming aloud.

"Sister are you okay?". She asked pulling the arrow from her arm.

"Arrgh!". She screamed out.

Rays from a torch could be seen approaching.

Maggie quickly carried her and dashed out of sight.

Elena staggered down the road at the entrance to the wood.

She held her bleeding hand and continued running.

She was already weak.

She heard screams of men and then roars of animals she suggested to be a wolf.

The only thought in her mind was hope Silvia was safe.

"Silvia I hope you're okay?". Elena muttered as she approached her house.

She through the window and headed for the bathroom.

There was a heavy sleep that now beclouded her face and she couldn't see properly.

After washing the blood she bandaged the wound on her hand to prevent further bleeding and then collapsed unto the bed.

Elena slept off immediately like a baby.

Elena's body began to inch and she opened her eyes wondering why it was so

She was surprised by what she saw, canopies of trees.

It took seconds for her to comprehend that she slept in her room but where was this.

Her eyes slowly drift down and could see trees all around.

She felt the movement of something and that was when she knew that she was on dried leaves from trees.

"Arrgh!". She screamed out springing on her feet as she saw maggots climbing her.

She looked around and discovered she was in the wood.

"What am I doing here?". She asked herself.

She sight five black beast with red eyes moving toward her.

" Arrrgh! ". She screamed out and took to her heels running as fast as possible.

She looked back while running and her head scattered a bee hive on the tree.

The bees stung her furiously and she cried her movement speed.

Her face was now swollen beyond recognitions

She stopped running and breath heartlessly.

A black hand broke out of the ground grabbing her leg and she fell to the ground.

She crawled backward but the hand crawled after her.

Elena felt a liquid pouring on her head, so she looked up, it was a black liquid pouring from the stomach of a man who was hung horizontally in between the trees.

She screamed out more loudly and took to her heels.

Tears were now dripping from her eyes as she couldn't believe what horror was happening.

She soon stopped by a river and looked around, when she was sure nothing was after her, she squatted and used the water to wash her face.

She opened her eyes and to her utmost surprise the river was now blood.

The water on her face touched her lips and she tasted blood.

Unannounced a black hand from the river grab her neck

Elena struggled hard as she was been choked.

Moree hands sprung out and drag her into the water.

She fought with them but they released her when they had successfully drawn her to the bottom of the sea.

She saw Silvia coming toward her at full speed but this Silvia something else. This one had red eyes, fangs and claws with hairs from her ear down to her cheek.

Silvia grabbed her and bite her, forcing her fangs into her neck.

Elena let out the loudest scream anyone could ever imagine and woke up from her nightmare.

She was sweating profusely with her heart beating fast.

Was type of dream was that?

Then the thought of last night flashed through her mind.

She looked at her hand immediately. Her wrist was still bandaged that meant she was really at the wood with Silvia.

But now all the questions where returning back?

Who where the men who attacked them and Silvia did some strange things that needed explanation.

Elena got down and stared at the clock.

"7:00AM, Whereas today was Saturday, so no school". Elena thought.

She headed for the bathroom and it was then she noticed that she felt no pain on her hand.

She quickly unloosed the bandage from her hand and was stupefied that it has healed up, there was no scar.

"How is this possible?". She asked herself.

"Or was it a dream too but this exactly the bandages I used to hold the bleeding". She added.

She pressed the knob of the door downward and it broke.

Elena held it in surprise, she only used little force.

She entered the bathroom and took her toothpaste

She held her brush and pressed it softly but the whole content shot out.

"Shit!". She cursed out.

⏩MEANWHILE⏩

Elvis could be seen on a bed with his legs and hand bandaged.

Mr Grimes soon entered the room.

"You left me alone and I almost died". Elvis shouted.

"" Will you keep quiet? You should be more careful next time, seems they're three ". Mr. Grimes said drawing a chair closer.

" But Nicholas is known to have only two daughter ". Elvis said.

" Yes. But whoever is the third Freck in the squad might be a Beta who is still afraid cos she took to her heel when you attacked The Alpha ". Mr. Grimes said.

" Father am disappointed in you. You saw all this and never cared to come to my rescue". Elvis said angrily.

Mr. Grimes sat on the chair and exhaled

"One more insult from you and I'll slit your throat". He threatened.

Elvis swallowed the saliva in his mouth and remained mute.

"We weren't there to kill yet, we were there to know how many they are. We need to know if they have a pack of betas yet so we know how we take them all out cos when you kill the alpha, the betas will rise and at the place and come after you". Mr Grimes said.

"True saying father but you should have told me before we attacked". Elvis said.

"You're not a kid anymore, you should have known our tactics". Mr. Grimes said.

"So now what do we do next?". Elvis asked.

"We need to to be sure they're only three and then we strike before they create betas". Mr. Grimes said.

"Okay father". Elvis answered.

Elena sat on the bed while she wore her sneakers.

New thoughts were flooding her heads now. The mysterious healing of her wound and why her body applied force to everything.

"I need to be sure that Silvia is okay". She said with the aim of going to the woods.

She soon felt a vibration in her ears.

"Ouch?". She said.

"Elena Is out of the bed yet?". She heard her mom's voice.

"Yes I guess. Yesterday was stressful for her". Mr. Gomez said.

Elena opened her mouth aghast.

"How am I able to hear their voice from the far away and it sounds close like they're whispering into my ears". Elena thought.

"What's happening to me?" ". She added.

Her ears were now zooming voices and far away sounds were like whispers now.

Elena was still wondering what was happening when her eyes caught something in the mirror.

She moved closer with her mouth opened aghast.

"Why is the colour of my eyes blue?".

✨✨IN THE WOODS✨✨.

Inside a small bungalow building in the woods, Silvia could be seen standing inside a circle 🌀 of ash.

"On your first day at school you already created a beta". Maggie said walking out of a room.

"Maggie I already told you, it was a mistake please please clear the mountain ash". Silvia said.

"You were almost killed if I hadn't intervened just because you want to protect her, have you forgotten the reason we're here". Maggie said.

"I haven't forgotten sis, we're here to live and kill anyone who threatens our existence". Silvia said.

"I'll release you on the condition that you'll kill the girl". Maggie said..

"What? You know I'll never kill an innocent girl Maggie". Silvia said.

"Remember she'll become a beta and might reveal the secret of the supernatural to humans". Maggie said.

"That's more reason you should let me go? Am sure she had her hibernation last night and her cells are fully evolved now and she is surprised by the new things happening to her, i need to talk to her that all is well and make her not tell anyone ". Silvia explained.

" We shouldn't trust humans to keep secrets ". Maggie said.

" Remember we're humans too just let me out and I assure you all will be well ". Silvia said.

" All will be well huh well sorry to announce, am going after the girl ". Maggie said.

" What! ". Silvia screamed and made to dash forward but an invisible force hit her and she fell back into the circle of mountain ash.

"Please Maggie don't hurt her I beg you I'll do whatever you ask". Silvia begged.

"Nope".

"Please Maggie she's innocent.. Don't hurt her". Silvia said.

"We're here to kill and not make betas". Maggie said and walked away.

"Maggie please". Silvia begged as her eyes turned red, she made to leap out of the circle but a force hits her and she fell back.

Maggie was already out of the house.
