Chapter 2 Choices

Shocked was undeniably written all over Austin's face. The scene of him walking on the sidewalk displayed inside the orbuculum amazes him. It was like watching a surveillance camera. "Amazing! Will I be able to see what happened after the explosion?" Austin asked himself. That explosion was a big mystery to him. Driven by curiosity, he continues to watch himself.

"So that's what happened", Austin said with reluctance. It turned out he was struck by lightning and died on the spot. He saw his lifeless body lying on the ground surrounded by many people, and he felt a sense of loss in his heart. It seems unreal to him that he is dead now.

"I'm actually dead? Which means the current me right now is just a soul?" Austin mumbled to himself. He looked around and asked, "what is this place then?"

Austin stared into space blankly when suddenly the orbuculum's light intensified. It was so bright that it could blind someone's eyes in an instant.

"Choose". When the light just faded away Austin heard a voice. He got so scared that he shouted, "Who's there?!" However he got no response.

Not far from him, he noticed four gigantic doors as high as a 3 story building made of different materials adjacent to each other. From his right is made of marble, next is a steel door, then an iron door, and lastly a stone door. Each has engraved symbols: Book, coin, fist and a circle, respectively.

Looking at these doors and what the voice just said a while ago, in order for him to leave this place he has to choose one door to open. "I'm starting to get confused. If only there's someone who could explain it to me", Austin said. But not even a second had passed, small fragments of light like fireflies at night gathered in one point near the door. With wide eyes opened, Austin was mesmerized, it was magical. The light continued to gather and a human figure was formed.
