Chapter 3

Eden's pov

I was so nervous meeting Julian's band. I was really scared on if they would want me in their video or not. Plus, seeing Julian again had my mind and heart going crazy. I just wasn't sure it was such a good idea to be in this video.

A girl that looked like she should be on the cover of playboy came out and told me to wait. She kept looking me up and down with disapproval. I wanted to smile at her and tell her to eat a damn cheeseburger. I was here to further my career not to be looked down upon by some snob. I wondered if she even let anyone know I was here. I was about to just get up and leave when Julian walked in.

"Eden how long have you been out here sitting?"

"About 20 minutes now I was about ready to leave. Look I have to get to work now so this was all just a waste of time."

I got up to leave because I wasn't going to sit here and let people treat me like this. I don't care that he was a big hotshot celebrity. I wasn't going to just stand her and allow people to treat me like crap. I knew this was a mistake.

"I am so sorry you had to wait I wasn't even told you're here. The band is right through there with our manager please just come meet them for a few minutes."

"Fine but I do really need to get to work I am teaching a class at the downtown rec center."

I followed Julian back to a room but made sure to look back at the snobby receptionist and smile. I followed Julian in, and everyone stopped talking and looked my way. I wanted to find a hole and just crawl into it. I was a shy person except for when I was dancing. I wasn't used to having to impress people like this.

"Hey everyone, this is Eden she was the dancer I have been telling you about. She has to run to work, but I wanted everyone to meet her real fast."

The guys all came up to me and gave me a hug. They seemed sweet, but I still wasn't sure about working with Julian.

"Hi everyone, so sorry to cut this short but I have a bunch of teens waiting for me down at the center."

"Hey sorry you were waiting out in the lobby so long now that you've met everyone maybe you'll consider doing the video also we'd love to meet some of the kids at the center possibly have some of them in the video with you as well." Julian said.

"You guys would really do that?"

"Well, we were going to go through a dance studio but yea this would be way cooler."

"Wow this would be amazing for these kids I mean they would just be floored most of them come to the center because they are living in shelters. Some come to stay off the streets and out of trouble this would mean so much so my answer is yes I will be in the video."

How could I say no after what they were offering to do? These kids needed this. It would teach then that their dreams can come true. I had to take this job now. I just needed to keep it professional.

"Good I'm glad you agreed to be in it I think you're an amazing dancer we all agreed on you out of all the videos we've seen. So, when can we meet the kids?"

"Well if you want to come with me everyone could meet them now."

Julian talked to the guys, and they decided they would meet me at the center because they wanted to get some freebies for all the kids. I was still nervous to be around Julian, but I couldn't let this chance for these kids go. My libido and heart will just have to get over it.
