Chapter 3 Gossip Is Deadly

"Rise and shine my lovely" Julia kisses Emma on her cheeks.t

"But it is Saturday" Emma moans as she rolls back and forth on the bed.

"No it's Friday and you will be late, Lisa is waiting downstairs for you already" Julia opens the curtains wide. "I picked out one of your favorite dresses" she points at one of many of Emma's heavy duty cloth.

"They all look the same mom, none is different and I don't want to go back"

"Shhh... This is the third time we are switching schools this year for christ sake be like your sister and enjoy it for once".

"Mom you can't expect goody here to be like me" Lisa rolled her eyes. "Mom please excuse us I need to speak to her"

"Well I don't with you" Emma replied rushing into the bathroom.

"What's up with her?" Julia asks Lisa.

"Don't sweat on it mom, I'll handle her new school stress probably" Lisa said to ease the worry off her mother's face who left afterwards.

Lisa sat comfortably on Emma's bed crossing her leg waiting for her to come out from the bathroom, she didn't wait long as Emma came out immediately.

"I need you to do something for me in school, like a publicity stunt to get me popular, just like the one we did at the cafeteria three days ago that got everyone talking" Lisa said.

Emma looked at her in incredulity. "I can't believe you just said WE, last time I checked it wasn't we who tripped me into falling face flat into my own lunch".

"So what? You won't help me because of that" Lisa laughs.

"I was humiliated, called names like food tray girl, ball girl and the wiggler like the...."

"The wiggler? That's new... When did that happen? It is better than the other names" Lisa laughs again.

"I was the doing the wiggle O'woggle dance and someone saw me"

"You still do that dance at this age.... Why can't you just grow up for once in your life"

"Thank you but I enjoy being this way"

"Whatever so you would consider doing it?"

"If you are badly in need of getting popular here at Freesville high I hear being the Overseer is all the range this season"

"You are right, if I claim to to be the Overseer all eyes will be on me and I have proof that I am indeed the Overseer, thank you for being such a great help". Lisa ran out of Emma's room overjoyed.

"My crazy twin" Emma chuckled.

Unlike yesterday that the school was gloomy, today everyone seemed chatty, one had what to say to another. It was clearly gossip about a certain someone. After that recording Overseer exploded yesterday everyone seem to have downloaded the Overseer app to know more gossip, but the Overseer has been quiet of late.

"It seems Breanna won't be returning back to school, I heard she transferred this morning couldn't swallow her own medicine I guess" one of the girls gossip corner said.

"I heard she is offered to do community service at a charity home" another said.

"Either way, I just hope the Overseer will update us soon, am dying to see who is next" another said.

"Hello girls am here to try out for the chear leading squad" Lisa said as she drops her bag on the floor.

"Breanna isn't around and Melissa is no where to be found" one of the girls responded.

"Take your places girls the pep rally is almost here and it seems we are all slacking, who are you?" Jenna asks Lisa.

"Breanna asked me to be here for my try out" Lisa said.

"Go ahead, Breanna don't have to be here before you can showcase your talent".

Lisa did a few flips and jumps before she got a perfect landing, all the cheerleaders were amazed by such agility. "I was expecting a mediocre performance but that was great, you can seat and watch our routine, welcome to the squad Lisa.

"Thank you, thank you so much"

After last period Dewey chased Greg everywhere for a chance to have a conversation. "I don't think it's fair that you are ignoring me like this we are childhood friends for crying out loud".

"Are we? You saw your best friend on the floor covered with food and yet you didn't help all because you have joined the MILFs"

"This has nothing to do with them, I could walk away from them but I can't"

"Why?" Greg asks

"Levi told me to find out the Overseer identity and he would let you join the MILFs"

Dewey saw his friends face light up at the mention of this. "So are you close to figuring who he/she is let me help out" Greg offers his assistance.

"No need I'll handle this" Dewy hugged his friend and left.
