Chapter 4 He has commitment issues

Chapter Four

Spencer's Point of View

I stood in the airport waiting for Brittany and her little friend when I heard Brittany, "Spencer." My sister ran over to me as she gave me hug as I tilted my head to Meadow walking towards us.

No. It can't be.

Brittany grabbed Meadow's as she squealed, "Meadow, this is my brother Spencer." Meadow smirked at me, "I hope you didn't lose your bag when you returned by zoning out." I rolled my eyes as Brittany pointed between us, "Wait, He is the airport guy?" She nodded as my sister laughed, "What a small world?"

I shook my head as I held out my hand to them, "Your ride awaits." Brittany smacked my chest as she whispered to me, "Play nice, Spencer. She is going through hell right now." I tilted my head as she walked with Meadow. She going through hell. What the fuck does that mean?

I followed the out as Brittany looked back at me, "Oh, we need to stop by a store." I stopped in my tracks in the parking lot, "Why?" She smirked at me, "Meadow, needs some clothes or she can wear yours." Meadow's face blushed, my god. Her face is cherry red. FUCK. I took it from her, and she doesn't know it was me.

I sighed as I shook my head as I walked forward, "Alright. Let's go."

We get into the car as I tilted my head as my eyes looked through the rearview mirror as Brittany and Meadow sat in the back like I am fucking chauffeur.

An hour later I walked behind the girls as the whispered between each other. Meadow gave me a glare as I tilted my head to her. She gave me a small smirk when we walked into a store.

They walked around the store when they spilt up. I followed Brittany as I sighed, "What is her deal, Brit?" She looked at some jackets, "Spencer. I can't tell you to much just that she got handed a rough deal in life." I ran my hand through my hair, "Why can't you tell me?" She shook her head, "It not for me to tell."

She moved through the store when her eyes landed on baby clothes. I tilted my head as she ran over and picked up an outfit, "Oh my god, Isn't this so cute." My eyes widened, "Brit? Please tell me your not." She laughed and hard, "No, it not for me."

She paused for a minute then tilted her head, "It is for a friend." I lifted my eyebrow, "Oh." She nodded, "Not worry brother. I am not planning on having any for a while."

She grabbed a couple baby clothes and some things that her 'friend' needed then she smirked at me, "Did Tom and Anna had to reschedule their honeymoon?"

I nodded as I picked up a nightgown as she lifted her eyebrow, damn this would look sexy on Meadow, "With COVID breaking out they didn't want to take a chance."

She nodded as she sighed, "It sucks." I nodded when Meadow stood behind me as I turned to her holding up the nightie as I can imagine her in it. Fuck, no man. It was a onetime thing plus; she doesn't know it was me.

She tilted her head as she blushed, "I am ready." I nodded as I placed it in the basket, I so screwed.

We walked up to the cashier when the items was rung up. I noticed my sister ready to pull out her wallet. How much hell is this girl going through?

I remember her having very designer clothes on her when I first met her. She can't be that broke. Well, I did meet her in Vegas. I closed my eyes; please tell me she doesn't have a gambling problem.

I pulled out my wallet when I slipped my card to the cashier when Brittany smirked and Meadow snarled at me, "You don't have to do that, Spencer. Brit and I already have a deal."

I shook my head, "Take it as payment for you saving my bags in Vegas going to the sea of luggage." Meadow shook her head as she gave a quick snort.

Meadow's Point of View

I looked out the window of the SUV as we pulled up at a huge mansion by the ocean.

My youngest smirked, "Home." I nodded as gave a small smile, "Yes, darling. Home."

"Meadow?" I looked up at Spencer as he shook his head. I took a deep breath, "I am sorry, I didn't hear you." He tilted his head, "I got that. Brit said you was starting online schooling; did you need a laptop to get into your classes."

Brittany opened up the door as Spencer placed the car into park, "I got her on that one." He nodded as my eyes widened to the size of the house.

I stood in the foyer as Brittany walked passed me, "Come on, I will show you to your room, Meadow." I looked up at Spencer when his jaw clenched when Brittany asked, "Which room?" He rolled his eyes, "The third door on the right." Brittany stopped as she looked back, "Are you sure?"

He nodded as she shook her head. Spencer moved towards another room, "I will get lunch ready then Brit, we will set up the garage for you."

I followed up with Brittany as I asked, "Why are you going to stay in Spencer's garage again." She waved her hand, "I live with my parents and it just easier, so I am not bring home the virus. Plus, my dad's health I have to be careful."

I nodded as she opened the door, "Will I be able to hang out with you." She sighed as she closed my door as we placed the bags on my new bed, "No, Meadow, you have to be extra careful because you are pregnant."

Brittany lifted some baby clothes up, "Look at what I found." I chuckled as I read some of the tiny shirts,

'Auntie's Favorite'

'Mom's Protector'

I chuckled as I looked at them, "Did Spencer see them?" She sighed, "He did but I told him it was for a friend. I didn't tell him, Meadow." She tilted her head, "You should tell him. Who knows how long this lock down is going to take. He might need to help you out once and a while."

She smirked at me as her eyes darted to my stomach, "You will not be able to hide your stomach much longer. Baby bump is going to look cute on you."

I groaned, "Brit, you know I can't. I don't want to be judge for having a one nightstand." She shook her head, "If he judge you for that then he needs to look in the mirror."

I chuckled as I folded the clothes, "That bad." She rolled her eyes, "You have no idea. He is a sweet man, but he just have commitment issues."
