Chapter 5 CHAPTER 5

-That night at Steve's house-

"Can't you even do this one task properly?!" shouted Steve at his secretary.

Gary just stand there quietly.

"What kind of mess is THIS!!!??? Tomorrow he is going to bring his presentation and persuade John. Our final majority share is going to be his. Just right after that, he had scheduled a meeting with the board members for the election of new CEO. What are we going to do?! Watch my company becoming HIS?!!? Even that bastard Mathew is not doing anything. I can't believe I trusted him and kept quiet for all this while"

"Sorry Sir. We don't know that he was that skilled compare to our bodyguards" Gary replied.

"You are really giving an explanation? Now get out from my room!!! I don't want to see anyone!!!" he screamed.

"Actually, sir there is something else" Gary hesitated.

"What is it now?!"

"Sir our man successfully took out all the information from his laptop and deleted it in his computer.

But there was another person in the room that time"

"Is this a reason? Can't you break his hands and brought me the pendrive?"

"He wasn't able to do that. Because it was our .......... young madam"

Steve looked at Gary with frowned eyes.

"What?"

"Yes sir. I couldn't believe it either. So, I did some research and found her activities past few months.

He quietly looked at the photos. He was shocked to see Flora with Robert. He felt cheated and betrayed. He felt as if the karma hits him back. Even Robert never used the betrayal tactic against Steve, Steve felt as if he was betrayed. He thought he loses his company because of Flora's help in leaking information. His past action starts to reflect on his eyes on his own illusion.

Gary just left the room.

"I don't know what is going to happen tomorrow" Gary sighed and left the place.

Before the morning sun could show up Ray decide to show up in the office, to help Robert for their big day. Once Ray entered the room, he was shocked to see they both were sleeping in that position. He quickly closed the door. He couldn't believe his eyes. Thus, he opened again, confirmed it and closed back.

"What the hell is he doing? Is this why he chased away all of us yesterday? No wonder. How could be he sleeping irresponsibly like this? Should I go inside and wake him up? Yes, I should. Wait. What if Flora wakes up and think me as a pervert guy? Aahhhh... what should I do? Okay call him"

He called Robert. The phone was ringing right at the table beside the couch. He slowly opened his eyes and found Flora in his embracement. He quickly looked out for the phone to avoid from waking her up. He took the phone and answered.

"Hello?" he whispered.

"Robert! Next time lock the door before doing anything. Don't let others to get heart attack. Now come outside" he hung the phone.

"Ray? Oh no. it's not like... Hello ....Ray? Shit!!"

He turned at Flora who was sleeping silently and peacefully. Looking at her in his arms, he felt happy, relax and refreshed. He gave her a soft, gentle morning kiss and slowly took away his hand and replace it with a pillow. He silently got up from the couch and covered her with his coat. He grabbed his phone and went outside with a smile on his face.

"Seems like you had a lovely night" he got startled.

"Ray! Don't scare me like that?" he said it with smily face.

"Eh.. scared my foot. Look at the smile on your face. What? Had a special night?"

Robert got shy and hugged him slightly like a small kid.

"Not really.... but I had a peaceful sleep after so long" he replied with smile.

"Eh eh ....look at the reaction. Stop leaning on me. Get away from me. Oh my god... whatever night it is, please don't feel shy. I cannot see that. I feel like one kind. What are you so excited about? Is this the first time you are sleeping with her?"

He got startled.

"What? Sleeping? Ray you are asking as if I really sleep with her!"

"Well you were sleeping with her" he teased Robert.

"I was sleeping with her, but"

"See you agree that you sleep with her"

Yes but I was not "that" sleeping with her. She has just finished her studies. She is a small girl. How can I do that to her? I'm not that kind of bad boy you know" replied Robert furiously.

"Wait. I just asked about the normal sleep. What sleep are you talking about? "

"Eh?" Robert got more embarrassed.

Ray chuckled and laughed.

"I really cannot see your shy face. HAHAHHA. It is really nice to tease you. Hahahha.. and wait.

What? You didn't do anything because she was small girl? Oi Robert! I know you better than anyone.

You won't even let go of a single chance to make her yours. Stop lying okay"

Robert was just scratching his head as he couldn't lie to his friend.

"Stop giving all kind of reactions. Faster go shower and get ready. Keep this spirit and energy that you charged yesterday night, we have a big day to handle" he smiled at him.

Robert just scratched his head and get in to get ready. Within minutes he came outside in a complete different image.

"Wah now you are looking like the sexy, handsome Robert, the businessman"

"Hahah enough. Come let's get in"

"Wait Flora is still sleeping inside"

"I turned the couch facing the wall. Don't worry come in"

Once Ray get inside the room, Robert told him everything that happened.

"Oh my god. How is Flora now? Never know she is this brave"

"Even I was shocked by her action yesterday. I never thought she will fight back to save me" he said while looking at the couch.

"She is a germ that can make your life shine all the time. Keep her happy and safe" "I will"

"Okay have you well prepared for today's meeting?"

"Yes I am" he said with full confidence.

"Then should we make our way?" asked Ray.

"Okay let's go"

"Then how about Flora?"

"Didn't you say that I can continue my sleep after today's meeting? For that, she had to be here.

Haha I have left her a note and she used to this place. Don't worry. Come let's go"
