Chapter 6 Home Delivery (Part One)

As the night fell, the quaint corridor of sandalwood emitted a fascinating aura, and the swan shaped dim yellow light shone in every corner. The open-air coffee tables on both sides were specially designed for those who didn't want to go home and stay alone in the empty room, and didn't want to enter the Pub with heavy metal music. A few slight cold wind blew, and they were a typical paradise for rest.

The famous maple leaf street view PUB was located in the alley of the bustling city.

The red Ferrari sped like a hurricane into the alley and slowed down. A complacent smile appeared on Sylvia's face, and the Land Rover owner behind her breathed a sigh of relief. Rain felt lucky that he lost.

From the long corridor, they directly drove their cars into the underground parking lot and found the exclusive parking space easily and expertly. Rain quickly opened the door for her, "honey, please."

However, Sylvia didn't appreciate it at all. She grabbed her bag, turned around and left. Rain closed the door and hugged her from behind. "Honey, I'm sorry. I won't stand you up again. I won't do it again."

Rain came over with two glasses of whisky, "since you are late, I punish you by drinking three glasses of whisky."

Olivia knew that she couldn't escape today. Looking at the wine in the glass, she couldn't help thinking of the word of her boyfriend. No, her-ex boyfriend. He had said she couldn't drink more than three glasses of wine outside.

Everyone thought she would beg for mercy, but she drank up all the wine on the table. "I didn't escape, did I?"

"Handsome, we should treat each other with new eyes in three days." Rain applauded.

She poured herself a glass of wine and said with a smile, "come on, celebrate for me. I'm single again."

"You will find a man who loves you more." Sylvia drained her glass and said, "Rain, cheers for your buddy."

Hearing what she said, Rain forced a smile and said, "don't get me involved. I'm a good man. To prove my love for you, cheers!"

The phone rang, but Rain didn't move. Everyone thought that it was Flynn who called back. Sylvia was about to ask him why he treated Olivia like that.

"It's your mother." Sylvia handed the phone to him, feeling timid. His mother was not easy to deal with.

Rain said three "yes" and hung up the phone, "baby, my father is in hospital. Let's go to the hospital right away."

"Okay. What's wrong with your father?" Although Sylvia had a bad temper, she was very filial to the elderly.
