After sometimes, she noticed they already left the city and got faraway in some unknown place to her. She gets more scared, but then, the car entered into a very large compound.
An estate on its own.
Ariel was awed, she knew she will probably be buried there, she panicked.
As the car parked, Alaska gets out of the car and pull her out of the car too. Ariel struggles with him, without hesitation Alaska pick her up again and placed her on his shoulder.
Ariel keeps struggling but Alaska won't budge until he gets into a big room and throw her own the bed looking dangerously at her.
Ariel feared he will do the unthinkable to her, rape her!
Her mind sinks.
Alaska climbs the bed, moving towards Ariel who curled up in fear at a corner of the bed, tears streaming down her cheeks.
She thought he was going to rape her, but he takes off the tape which was used to cover her mouth.
Ariel's eyes were filled with fear; she panicked as Alaska stares dangerously at her.
Ariel believes that before she gets killed by Alaska, she should at least know what she has done.
"What have I done to you?"
She let out with tears.
Alaska's eyes turned dreadful at her question, he grabs her, Ariel screams.
"You have heard of fake, arranged, and contracted marriages, but have you heard of borrowed marriage?" Alaska asked, looking at her face seriously as he talked to her.
"W.... what?" Ariel shifted back fearfully; she dared not look at Alaska's stoned face.
"What did you mean by borrowed marriage?" She managed to ask him, stuttering, because she could see how terrifying his face looked.
"Borrowed marriage!" Alaska emphasized.
"It means I am going to borrow your marriage for one year. Did you understand now?" He came closer to her, wanting to touch her. But Ariel dodged his hand fearfully, shaking inwardly.
"I don't understand," she muttered under her breathe. She wondered what he meant by borrowing her marriage for one year.
"I will be your husband for a year."
"What did you mean? I am already married to Jack."
Ariel believed she was already Jack's wife even though they don't have their wedding ceremony but they already registered their marriage.
"But your husband will change now," Alaska said with much pleasure.
"What are you saying?" She wanted to run away from him, looking at his eyes getting dangerous, but he pinned her down on the bed and forcefully kissed her again.
"That is a proof I am now your husband since you don't understand," Alaska grins wickedly.
He loved the kiss, but Ariel was not finding it funny.
She is Jack's wife and they were supposed have their wedding ceremony today and probably be on their way to Alabama for their honeymoon by now. But Alaska destroys everything.
Ariel found the forced kiss offensive. She is someone's wife but was forcefully kissed by a person she believed to be a rogue.
With her displeasure, she dared not voice it out. She knew Alaska well; not only her, but everyone in the city knew him very well. He is a dangerous mafia lord who controlled the whole of Alaska and its environment.
It was clearly an assault for forcefully kissing someone else's wife like that, but what was she supposed to do? Report to the police? Or shout for help? Talk back at him? She could not do any of that; it was Alaska, after all.
Which was why he was called Alaska, he owned the city.
Ariel pulled back and curled up at the corner from where Alaska had kissed her. She kept cleaning her lips with the back of palm in disgust; tears welled up in her eyes as she did not know what to do.
She did not even understand what was happening. She was someone's wife for heaven's sake, but Alaska dared to forcefully kiss and kidnap her.
Ariel could not stop shedding tears.
Though she knew that Alaska was a heartless person, she had not heard about him or his members raping any lady or taking people's wives forcefully. It was said that he detested assaulting females.
But what was he doing to her? Ariel could not believe Alaska lied about not assaulting females. He is exactly like the animal he was known to be. She had thought that with his dangerous ways, he still had dignity for women, but it must be lies.
"But what is with the borrowed marriage?"
She thought, totally confused.
Alaska's laughter evolved into her ears as she looked shattered. Ariel looked up at him and stared dangerously at him. It was the first time she would directly look into his face.
Alaska slowly stopped laughing; he felt something like fear wash over him, which had never happened before.
"Why did you do that to me?" Ariel did not know where the confidence to face Alaska came from. She was too angry to think about Alaska being a dangerous person now and could kill her.
Alaska was totally surprised; no one had dare to face him and looked into his eyes directly, talk of even questioning him.
"Was she courting death?"
Alaska thought, surprised at her question.
"Don't people say you have dignity towards women? Is that a lie? Are you truly the animal you are called?" Ariel did not know when all that came flying out of her lips. She was so angry that she did not care about what Alaska might do to her after her action.
Alaska felt enraged and instantly raised his hand to deliver a dirty, hot slap to her. Ariel, seeing his hand raised up with anger written on his face, she shivers in fear and almost entered the ground beneath her.
But Alaska slowly refrained himself from slapping her, instead he smiled dryly and moved close to her threatening to forcefully kiss her again.
He slowly pulled towards her, looking at her face as she still closed her eyes, expecting a deafening, hot slap.
Alaska smirked.
"My borrowed bride," he muttered softly. Ariel slowly opened her closed eyes when she did not receive the slap and slightly looked at Alaska, scared.
His face was up close to her face; her heart pounds fast with fear. His face inched closer to hers makes her feels so scared; she ceased her breathe at his close presence.
Alaska then patted her head slowly, like his pet; Ariel's heart almost jumped out of her chest with Alaska's hand on her head. She froze in fear. His hand felt like a slap to her face each time he patted her; the closeness was too dangerous for her.
She subconsciously pulled back from him and quickly hid herself under the bed, breathing heavily.
Alaska smirked wickedly.
"Little bride, ask your so-called husband that question, not me," Ariel listened to Alaska while shaking in fear.
He moved away from her to Ariel surprise without touching her.
"Our honeymoon starts tonight," he added and eventually left.
"What?" Ariel's heart beat faster than ever as Alaska marched out of the room. The word honeymoon kept resounding in her head.
Ariel felt that she would not be able to get away from Alaska; she did not know what happened and why he wanted to borrow her marriage. And what he even meant by borrowed marriage.
What was she supposed to do?
She cried, sobbing loudly after Alaska left.
"What did Jack do? Did he offend him, and he's bent on taking me away from Jack?"
Ariel believed that Jack must have done something wrong, and Alaska was taking it out on her.
"What a coward! Evil! Why take it out on me?"
Ariel cried and cursed Alaska.
Remembering Alaska telling her to ask Jack about what happened, she thought of what could have probably happened to Jack.
"Did he do something to Jack too?"
Ariel's fear knew no limit now. She was certain that Alaska must have done something to Jack.
"What should I do? What should I do?" her mind seemed blank. She bites her finger nervously.
She thought of running away to Alabama to escape Alaska. She quickly goes to the door, but the door was tightly locked.
She sank down leaning on the door, she cried.
"I need to find a way to leave this place"
Ariel believes there will be a way for her to escape from that place. She looks to the window to check if there is a way for her to escape.
But the room was up high, she panicked. She did not notice while Alaska carried her inside that he brought her that high.
"Going somewhere, my bride?"
The lock door suddenly flipped open, Alaska stares at her at the window.
Ariel's heart froze on the spot, and she fell to the bed.
Alaska seems to have seen through her. He knew the moment he left the room that she might want to escape.
"I mean to tell you that there is no way of escape here. You are on the seven floor" he smirked.
Ariel's mind howls.
She knew there is no way she will survival if she tries to jump from the seven floor down.
"You are trapped with me, no way of escape."
Alaska adds with wicked grin, then leaves.
With tears in her eyes, Ariel knew that she was indeed trapped.
