She braced up herself and took the files, she entered his office and met him sitting on his chair as cockily as ever With only his white shirt on, he looks extra extra hot, but she's not one of those ladies who trip for him, but she sometimes appreciate his handsomeness "Yes?" He said "Huh?' she said, shivering already "I think I told you last week that this file should be signed by my brother" he said, looking at her questioningly " Yes sir but when I gave it to his secretary , she gave it back this morning and told me her boss said it needs the CEO signature, not the deputy" she replied " Oh goodness gracious, why is Blake being a pain in the ass, seriously?" He said, holding his forehead like he does when he's frustrated He sighed and glanced at the files again, like it'll take him his blood to sign He took his pen and signed it "Here" he said Cici took the file and started heading out of the office "Cici" he suddenly called "I'm done for" she thought before facing him "Sir?" Sir" she replied " Good" he said and waved for her to go She bowed and took her leave She breathed in as much air as possible when she got out She almost suffocated to death in there, she can't breathe "Hmmn, I think I might have to leave sooner, I haven't even told him that next week is my wedding, he's always rude" she thought, taking her seat... ************* Emery ate the last hamburger in her whole house slowly "I hope I don't die of hunger" she mumbled silently She drank some water before standing up from where she's sitting She looked round her small house It has just a table, her small wardrobe, some cooking utensils at a part of it, then the mat she sleeps on and a blanket "I'm really suffering" she said , trying hard not to cry She came out of the house and stood at the balcony, it's actually a rooftop house She looked at the people passing by "Everyone seems happy, walking around as if they don't have a problem, but can everyone possibly showcase their problems?, No" she thought sadly Then she saw Glenn coming from afar She's her only friend and she lives in the same house Just that she lives downstairs in a bigger room, she lives comfortably "Why won't she? when she works at Crown empire as the secretary of one of the Crown brothers" " Emery!" She waved when she finally reached the front of the house Emery waved back before Glenn entered the house She went downstairs to meet her "How was the interview?" Glenn asked She hesitated before nodding but her stomach betrayed her by making hunger sounds Glenn laughed "Your stomach said the truth, I'm coming, I'll change to something comfortable and we'll go eat out" she said and winked before going in " She's too kind" Emery thought... ******** Raymond's mansion*** "How come the meal is spicy?, I think I said low spice" Raymond complained when he tasted a spoon " I'm sorry sir, it was miss Liz who said we should make it spicy" the maid replied "Yes darling, I'm the one, I'll feel like puking anytime I take a meal with low spice" Liz said, coming downstairs She's wearing a sexy nightie, she didn't bother to tie the rope at the front, her bra is visible and her breasts are dangling as usual "Maybe it's not a good idea that you're sleeping here tonight Liz, I hate spicy foods" he said, dropping his spoon " And I love spicy foods babe, let's not argue again tonight, please?" She started washing, making it all clean She's about to finish washing when another set of dirty plates was brought She inhaled hard and wiped the sweat beads on her face She started washing again She has barely washed half when another set was brought and the ones she has washed were taken away She added to her pace so she could Meet up Her arms hurt throughout but she endured till the evening when she was told to rest The restaurant owner, madam Vivi was kind enough to give her food.. She took it with joy and ate gladly "You worked hard, I'll increase the fee to four dollars per day" she said " Thanks madam, I'm grateful" she replied happily... * * Night, at an expensive events hall** Rich men can be seen going around with their dates, mingling with friends and new faces A keyboardist is busy playing a soft tune and the whole place looks like paradise with the decorations... Raymond entered with Liz beside him, they interlinked their arms and waved at friends as they entered...
