Chapter 8 Have we met

Jay entered the office with Charlotte in front of her. "Jay!" Kim greeted him with a hug.

"Bro!" Jay hugged him back.

"Madison, you can leave with Charlotte." Kim ordered as the girls left the office. "I'm so glad you're here," he said.

Jay sat on the seat in front of him while Kim stood beside him.

"Did anything happen?" Jay asked.

"Nothing really. I just need you to do something for me."

Jay knew him too well to know he was about to ask him to do something crazy.

"Which is?"

"I need you to be my male model."

He looked at Kim before bursting into laughter.

Jay was twenty-three years old. He was born and brought up in Texas and before he came to New York to join the boyband, he was a model and that was why Kim chose him.

"Are you crazy?" Jay asked.

"Please, Jay." Kim pleaded, but Jay didn't listen to him. "Please?" He pouted.

"I don't want to." Jay folded his arms and glared at Kim.

"Really?" He asked staring at Jay in disbelief.

"Yes," Jay answered bluntly.

"I promise to give you the money I get from this," Kim offered.

"Seriously?" Jay asked with excitement.

"Yes," Kim answered. "So what do you say?"

"Alright, I will do it!"

Kim hugged him. "Thank you."

He was joking with Jay when the door flashed open. Riele entered the office only to see Kim pecking a guy's cheek.

So he's gay? Riele thought as she fixed her eyes on them.

Kim cleared his throat as he went to his seat. "Do I need to remind you to knock before coming into my office?"

"I knocked... Several times..." But you didn't reply because you were with your love. "...when I didn't hear any response, I had to come in just to make sure you are not dead."

Kim gave her a weird look. "So why are you here?"

"The modeling crew is ready and we need him," Riele said, pointing to Jay.

"I should get going then," Jay said. He stood up and went to meet Riele, his eyes meeting hers.

Riele didn't know why there was this familiar thing she was feeling. "Have we met?" She asked as the guy walked out of the office.

She had no idea why he seemed so familiar. She tried to concentrate on the job at hand. She got to the studio and directed Jay and Madison to the changing room.

Jay was staring at Riele and every time Riele turned, his eyes were already looking at her. She tried to ignore the butterflies she was feeling in her stomach.

"Chloe," Riele called. Chloe is a makeup artist. "Have you gotten in contact with Justin yet?" She asked. Justin was the one in charge of their dressing.

"He said he's going to be here any minute from now," Chloe answered.

Riele was directing other people on what they needed to do when Justin came in panting heavily.

"I'm so sorry I'm late. I got stuck in traffic," Justin explained.

"That's fine. Just attend to them and let me know when you are done so I can tell the photographer," Riele said, walking out of the room.

Justin gave Madison her dress to wear, it was a white long gown with a split at the front that stops on her thigh. He also gave her a red shoe to go with it.

He gave Jay a red suit and a white shirt with black shoes to go with it.

After he was done dressing them up, Chloe, the makeup artist came to do her magic on their faces and their hair.

Jay was looking so handsome and Madison was beautiful.

"Tell Riele we are ready," Justin told Chloe. Chloe went to get Riele who was chatting with Charlotte.

"Charlotte, can you tell your boss that they are ready for the photo shoot?" Riele said as Charlotte looked at her with folded arms. "What?". Riele asked when she noticed the way Charlotte was looking at her.

"So, he's now my boss, uh?" Charlotte asked.

Riele smiled. "Just get him over here, Charlotte."

She left her friend as she went to the change room to check up on the two models.

She was stunned to see how beautiful they both turned out. She walked up to Madison. "You look so beautiful," she complimented Madison before she adjusted the rose on her hair.

"Thank you, but don't you think he looks really hot?" Madison whispered to Riele. Riele turned to look at Jay and she was right, he looks hot. She shook her head trying to get her head together.

"Come with me, please!" She directed them to follow her.

Jay and Madison followed behind her as the boss joined them in the room where they would be having their photoshoot.

The photographer- Nelson did a good job with the photos. He was directing them on what to do.

"Madison," the photographer called as the girl looked at him. "I need you to look directly into his eyes. Make it look sexy. Jay, I'm sure you know what to do."

Jay nodded as he pulled Madison closer. Madison looked at him and he stared intensely into her eyes.

Riele was admiring the two models when she had a flashback of what happened when she met Jay.

"Have we met before?" The question came again as she stared intensely at him as she wondered if she had met him before. There was something familiar about him, but she just can't place it.

Charlotte noticed how intensely her friend was looking at Jay. She nudged her with her shoulder making Riele snap out of her thoughts. "I know he is hot, but you don't need to make it so obvious," Charlotte said in a whisper.

"What?" Riele asked.

The photographer took the picture. "Nice!" he commended.

Kim had this contended look all through the photo shoot. He was smiling from ear to ear. He turned to look at Riele who happen to be staring at him. Immediately their eyes met, Riele looked away. She went to meet the two models since she was in charge of them.

"Thank you so much," she thanked them.

Jay didn't reply, but his gaze happen to say a lot of words that couldn't be heard.

"It's nice working with you." Madison turned to Jay extending her hand to him for a handshake.

"Pleasure is all mine." He accepted her handshake with a smile.

"Alright everyone! Tomorrow we'll be having another photoshoot, but it's going to be outdoors. Charlotte, I need you in my office after you round up what you're doing here..." Kim said walking towards the door then he turned back to look at Riele who was having a conversation with Charlotte. "...and you too, Riele." Without hearing her response he left.

Riele was dumbfounded. "Something tells me you are going to get your position back," Charlotte said.

"Even if he offers me that position, I'll gladly turn it down. I'm loving my new job. I'm not going to let him ruin it for me," Riele said with her head raised high.

"Let's round up here so we can go for the meeting." Charlotte suggested as Riele nodded.
