Chapter 4 Ferdinand Breath Of Love

Eleanora POV

"Please hold your hands together as I speak the sermon," the priest coaxed gently.

I raised my head, looking straight into Ferdinand's blue ocean like eyes with second thoughts. Ferdinand gently grasped my hands as he noticed I was trying to create a scene which could ruin everything we had planned.

"Are you ready?" the priest asked again with a warm smile.

"Do you, Ferdinand, take Eleanora to be your wife, to love and cherish her through all the joys and challenges of life?" the priest asked firmly, looking at both of us as he awaited an answer from Ferdinand.

"Yes, I do, with all my heart," Ferdinand replied with a grin while staring straight into my eyes. I could feel the pain of betrayal, anger piling up inside me, but I had to play along.

The priest nodded with a smile, then shifted his gaze to me.

"Do you, Eleanora, take Ferdinand to be your husband, to love and cherish him through all the joys and challenges?"

I stood for a moment without giving an answer. I was lost in thought, unaware that I had entirely ghosted everybody, my mouth trembling, eyes widened.

"Eleanora."

Ferdinand whispered, then forcefully yanked my hands.

Just immediately, I snapped back, blinking my eyes rapidly.

"Oh.. sorry," I mumbled after getting hold of myself then quickly gave a reply.

"Yes, I do," I replied with a fake smile, my stare completely unfocused.

After some words from the priest, Ferdinand was given a ring to put on my finger. I stared at the ring, with trembling hands, wanting to pull over but couldn't as Ferdinand slipped it onto my finger.

The priest shifted his gaze to me, then gave me another ring to place on Ferdinand's finger as well. I collected the ring, staring at it with doubt, wondering whether to expose Ferdinand's disgusting act right here and now or just play along. My heart pounded as thoughts spread through my head.

When I raised my head to look at Ferdinand, I could see his eyes already turned cold, icy, and scary, staring deep into mine with rage. This was my first time seeing Ferdinand so angry; his eyes alone had already described everything.

I gently moved my hands forward then slipped the ring onto his finger. After doing that, Ferdinand smiled at me, then turned to look at the priest.

"Now you may kiss the bride," the priest urged with a nod.

Ferdinand moved his lips close to mine before they connected.

"The man I once thought would be my dream man is now my greatest nightmare and regrets. He had ruined my joy," I thought to myself, feeling the pain of betrayal, growing disgusted by Ferdinand's presence.

While still kissing, I made my lips stiff, then pulled away, yanking my hands from Ferdinand's grip and hiding them behind my back.

Soon the ceremony was over, and my room was filled with gifts. I laid on my bed, glaring at the ring on my finger, feeling so much hatred and disgust inside me. Just as I was about to pull it off, my mom knocked and then opened the door. She walked over to me and sat close just beside me.

"Congratulations, Eleanora. It's really a good thing my only daughter just got married. I'm happy for you," she spoke gently with a warmed smile, her loving eyes staring at me.

"But, Eleanora," she continued, "what's wrong? You were acting strange during the ceremony," my mom asked gently, coaxing me.

"Acting strange? No, I wasn't," I replied jokingly with a laugh. "It's my wedding, and today is my best day of all, nothing bad is wrong with me," I assured her with a smile.

My mom gazed at me for a moment after hearing my words, then smiled before caressing my hair with her hands. "I love you so much, Eleanora. If anything is wrong, feel free to talk to me, okay?"

I moved close to my mom and hugged her while crying. "I'm going to miss you so much, Mom," I groaned, tears gushing from my eyes as I hugged her tightly, almost crushing her bones.

deep inside me, I wasn't crying because I will miss my mum, but I was crying because my heart was already shattered into pieces with betrayal and disappointment.

"I will always be available if you want to see me," my mom assured me with a broad smile spreading across her face.

After some hours my mum left, Ferdinand came into the room, sipping wine while leaning against the wall, staring straight at me like a predator locking on its prey. I felt unsafe under his gaze, fingers curled into my palms. I relaxed on the bed curling my legs into my stomach as I faced the other side of the bed avoiding any words or eye contact with Ferdinand.

Ferdinand sat on the bed then gently ran his hand over my waist, bringing his lips to my neck, kissing it gently and softly. I drew myself out of his grip, trying to avoid any intimacy with him, but he persisted and kept moving closer to me.

"Eleanora, don't resist me. Let me have you, let me own you," he whispered into my ear, sending shivers down my spine, his words were like a liquid running through my ear to my brain, making me lose focus.

He gently grasped my neck, using his other hand to maneuver his way toward my br**st. He touched my n**ple with his fingers, twisting it softly. It felt so good that my eyes rolled into my skull making me moan. Almost making me forget I was angry with him.

A thought ran through my mind: should I stay angry with him or forget the past? I bit my lips, the sensation of pleasure clouding my mind. Before I knew it, I began to moan harder and softly compared to before. Ferdinand then turned me over and slowly climbed on top of me. He brought his lips close to mine, and we began kissing passionately, his tongue running all over my mouth and I sucked it.

I wondered if I was foolish or still in love, even after all that had happened-the unforgettable betrayal that came at the worst moment, still hasn't taught me a lesson.
