Chapter 4 BIKER REVEALED

The deep growl of a super bike echoed through the night as it drove towards a beautiful billionaire estate on a high hill.

Finally the super bike stopped in front of the gate ,and four security men in black suits approached the rider.

The earpiece on their ears beeped as they exchanged updates with the other securities.

When they reached the place where the biker was , they all bowed in unison.

"Welcome back, young master!"

Their deep voices thundered filled with respect.

Without a word, the biker gave them a slight nod, his gloved hand reviving the engine and the iron gates swung open.

Revealing a driveway that twisted upward like a coiled serpent to the main entrance of the mansion.

The road was lined with street lights that cast a bright light over the pathway.

Revealing, beautifully trimmed gardens.

Water fountains with an infinity swimming pool sparkled like some kind of liquid diamonds

Like a paradise!

Each checkpoint that the biker passed had additional security men in suits at gates armed and alert.

One by one, the gates opened automatically, allowing his passage deeper into the estate.

By the time he reached the final gate, the main mansion came into sight.

A jaw dropping modern architectural masterpiece that towered up to the sky with balconies that seemed to float.

None in the city could be compared!

The biker finally slowed as he approached the final gate. This one was also guarded by another set of suited tough men.

They immediately bowed, and the gate slid open revealing the circular driveway in front of the mansion.

More men in suits lined at the entrance, their heads bowed in respect to his arrival.

As the biker finally came to a stop, the low rumble of his super bike engine echoed loudly then ceased.

He removed his helmet, revealing a face that could stop the heartbeat of the onlooker no matter their gender..

His visual features were unique and undoubtedly handsome, high cheekbones, and a jawline so defined it looked like it had been sculpted by the God, himself.

He tilted his head back and swallowed with his eyes closed. Then slowly he opened his intense dark eyes, letting out a quiet sigh of exhaustion.

His black hair that was slightly tousled from the helmet, fell into place as he ran his fingers through it.

The men who had bowed at his entrance immediately greeted him.

"Welcome home, young master Kai."

Kai dismounted and tossed his helmet to one of the guards, who caught it like a professional.

"Anything I need to know?"

He asked.

His voice sounded deeper than their voices combined.

The guard who caught his helmet, stepped forward, bowing slightly.

"All operations are running smoothly, sir."

Kai nodded.

"Good."

The guard's eyes went to the blood all over his jacket and gloves.

"Pardon me if I may ask sir, but do you need medical attention? Should I call the medicals?"

"Hmm?"

Kai raised a brow, confused at his question then he gazed down to his jacket,before realizing the blood all over me.

"Those ain't mine, worry about yourself Leon".

He replied carefreely and slid his hands back in his pocket before heading towards the building.

Leon sighed.

"I was assigned by the senior boss to make sure you are always safe, it's my duty to worry about you".

Leon muttered beneath his breath as he watched Kai walk away.

"That kid is always careless, he is strong and can fight alright but..he is still the youngest here".

He said to himself and sighed before instructing other security men on what to do.

Ava dragged herself up after the mental breakdown and made her way to the bathroom.

She turned on the light switch and caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror.

The sight made her freeze.

Her pathetic reflection stared back at her. Her eyes were red and swollen from hours of holding back tears and her cheeks were stained with the streaks of tears that had escaped.

Her hair was a mess, nothing but a pathetic sight.

With a shaky breath, she turned away from the mirror and reached for the shower handle, twisting it to the hot setting.

Steam quickly began to fill the room, clouding the mirror and obscuring her reflection.

She peeled her clothes off.

The moment she stepped under the scalding water, a loud gasp escaped her lips, it was almost too hot, she had to change it to warm.

As the water cascaded over her, soaking her hair and plastering it to her face. Ava hugged herself tightly as the sobs she had been holding back burst free.

She washed her body over and over in irritation, her nails scratching at her arms and shoulders until they were red and painful.

Eventually, her body began to cool down.

She let out another shaky breath and straightened up, wiping at her face with trembling hands.

Suddenly, her phone rang, she decided to rush the bath and get the phone.

Knowing who the caller might be.

After the bath,Ava stepped out of the shower and walked straight to the bed.

As she reached for the phone,her boyfriend's contact name lit up the screen.
